Die Unterstützung durch den Vertriebspartner Panda-solar.de via e-Mail bei der Parameterisierung des Multiplus und Einrichtung der Kommunikation der einzelnen Komponenten untereinander war sehr kompetent, gedulig und immer schnell.
Jetzt läuft alles super.

Ich werde nie wieder etwas von Victron Energy kaufen. Ich habe Ihren Service zweimal mit Fragen zur Einstellung des Ladegeräts kontaktiert und keine vernünftige Antwort erhalten.

Horrendous customer service, rude and unhelpful whenever we have issues trying to place orders with them. Insist on ordering through the website. AVOID.

I bought a Victron charger second hand, out it was faulty. I sent it to a victron dealer in Fareham. They have been absolutely amazing. Dealt with the fault instantly. Couldn't repair it so replaced it. I'm not easily impressed but wow. There's not many companies like this around any more. I made the mistake of buying cheap Chinese stuff first, obviously it failed. I fully appreciate that Victron is more expensive but believe me, it's worth it.
I have found out that it actually works and the after sale customer service is amazing.

My Victron Energy Automotive charger (purchased in 2019) has now - just out of warranty - broken down. The local dealer will not help as he does not have the necessary documentation for this type from the manufacturer. The Victron Energy customer support web form does not know the model of my charger (BPC12/4). I have therefore asked for advice at victronenergy sales - no response. Second email - no response. Letter to Victron Energy B.V., PO Box 50016, 1305 AA Almere - no response. Victron Energy simply will not talk to me.
Of course I will survive, I can throw away the faulty charger and buy another one, but it will not be from Victron Energy. My only regret is that in a kind of holy enthusiasm, I have recommended Victron Energy to several of my friends who were thinking of buying a charger for their car's 12V batteries.

Dies ist nun schon der zweite Regler (100|50), der während des Betriebs den Geist aufgibt und die angeschlossenen Akkus nicht mehr lädt. Ein Ersatz wird vom Händler mit dem Hinweis abgelehnt, das Gerät sei verpolt angeschlossen worden. So ein Unsinn! Einen Verpolungsfehler macht man allenfalls als Laie beim ersten Anschließen. Wenn die Anlage läuft, wird nichts mehr falsch gepolt. Das interne Protokoll zeigt denn auch in beiden Fällen normalen Betrieb, und plötzlich ist Funkstille. Warum sollte man hier zwischendurch die Anschlüsse vertauscht haben?

Viel wahrscheinlicher ist in meinen Augen Folgendes:
Eine berechtigte Reklamation wird stets mit dem Verpolungs-Argument abgewimmelt. Ganz egal, ob das logisch oder blanker Unsinn ist, das Gegenteil kann der Kunde nämlich nicht beweisen. Die Gehäuse der Regler sind mit der Platine innen vergossen, daher kann man diesen Regler nur unter Zerstörung öffnen und den wahren Grund feststellen.
Fazit: Die Victron-Garantie von 5 Jahren ist ein leeres Versprechen und völlig wertlos. Den Händler trifft dabei vermutlich kaum eine Schuld, er handelt nach den Vorgaben von Victron, macht eine Messung mit dem Multimeter an den Ein- und Ausgängen, stellt einen Defekt fest und lehnt die Garantie ab.

I emailed these incompetent people with one very simple question relating to their products, and their response simply told me to contact my local distributor or authorized dealer.

How can a well known company not know a very simply answer to their OWN products. They have ZERO interest in helping potential customers, if all they're going to do is refuse to answer a question and wipe you off to one of their dealers.

No wonder they have such a bad rating on here.

Forget Victron, I will buy a different brand. A brand who actually offers customer support.

Die Probleme mit unserer Victron MPPT 100/300 wurden per telef. Anleitung von Herrn Thomas Friedrich und seinem Kollegen kompetent und mit sehr viel Ruhe und Geduld gelöst.

Ich habe 2 Multi Plus II 48 Volt dc 230 Volt ac 3.000 VA geordert , vermutlich haben diese einen Kurzschluß oder einen sehr hohen Einschaltstrom ( Kondensatoraufladung . Eine Kontaktaufnahme mit Victron Energy geht angeblich nur über deren Formular , jedoch gab es bei m,ehreren Versuchen , dieses Formular abzusenden , immer die Meldung : Beim Versenden ihrer Anfrage trat ein Fehler auf ! Ich telefonierte mehrmals mit dem Sales Manager Uwe D. , jedoch konnte. + wollte wohl er mir nicht weiterhelfen da es nur über dieses Formular geht ( seine Anmerkung : Ich solle einen anderen PC verwenden! ) oder über den Verkäufer . desweiteren bot er mir einen Link an , dort könne man sich bei V.E. registrieren und auf ein Portal von V.E.-Technikern und Ingeneieuren zugreifen . Ich habe mich bei V.E. registriert als Endnutzer , der ich ja nun bin ( ich bin gelernter Energieanlagenelektronikmer + seit 1992 Meister des Elektroinstallateurhandwerks ) aber kein Portal von Technikern + Ingenieueren dort zu finden !
Ich kann V.E. absolut nicht empfehlen + werde von dieser Firma keine weiteren Geräte mehr kaufen !

Foutje gemaakt met aansluiten Victron omvormer, dankzij de fantastische service van Victron energy samen met Combi Noord uit Grou is alles opgelost. Super service zoals je dat haast niet meer tegenkomt. Ben ze zeer dankbaar

I bought Victron Smartsolar MPPT charger and battery monitor from Amazon for my RV solar panels. Happy to say the product has worked eally well with my solar panels consistently delivers more AMPs than my older PWM controller. It was easy to install and especially monitor, with the bluetooth app, and device is high efficiency. I quickly got answers to technical issues through the victron community.

Den Händlern geht es nur um den Verkauf. Vorsicht! Sollte man Probleme bei den Einstellungen haben, steht man alleine da. Unsere Anlage läuft halbwegs. Aber angefangen beim Wirkungsgrad des Wechselrichters über der Regelung der MPPT's zum Laden der Akkus. Nichts läuft reibungslos. Von einen Service und Hilfe kann man nur träumen. Schade, die Geräte scheinen hochwertig zu sein, aber der Rest ist absoluter Mist!
Absolute Vorsicht ist für Heimwerker geboten. Bei Problemen braucht man nicht auf Hilfe hoffen!!!

Ich sehe die Antwort von Victron als absolute Unverschämtheit an! Es war nie die Rede von Kosten und dass man eine gewisse Leistung nicht ausgeben/zahlen möchte. Es geht letztendlich darum, überhaupt Hilfe zu bekommen, ob kostenlos oder nicht, darum geht es garnicht!

Einzelteile oder Sets kann man von Victron überall kaufen. Hilfe gibt es aber anscheinend nur, wenn man bei einem Händler ein komplettes Set kauft. Dieses ist natürlich bedeutend teurer!!! Die Sets sind dann meist gemischt und keine reinen Victron Sets. Ich vermute, die Sets werden so zusammengestellt, dass für die Händler so viel wie möglich hängen bleibt.

Finally received a response from Victron, some 9 months after complaint. Speaks volumes really, and even then they did not address the issue other than place blame on the installer/customer. I inherited the equipment when I bought the property!
Don't go any where near them. Buy from a reputable provider who will show some empathy towards their customers.
If a rep from Victron reads this in how many months time, PLEASE DO NOT REPLY, it simply isn't worth my time.
In future I will buy products elsewhere. I strongly suggest that others do the same.

I "inherited" Victron components (MultiPlus inverter, Cerbo GX, MPPTs) from the previous boat owner. As many other user-reviewers, when it came time to upgrades or problem resolution, the support offered by the company was/is ABYSMAL. Their "explanatory videos" talk in gibberish, clearly, their engineers who are in front of the cameras have never spoken with a regular customer, who's not interested in all their TLAs. Victron restricts much of product support to their "authorized technicians", who are therefore the only ones writing great reviews - go figure. Another "simple" example on how brain damaged the company is: to get ANY kind of support, you need the serial number of the device. So where you can find such a number? Prominently displayed at the front panel of each device, so it's easy to find? Think again! Here's the "correct" answer: "For smaller items such as the Bluepower chargers, DC/DC converters, MPPT charge controllers the serial number can be found labelled on the *reverse* of the unit. For larger units (MultiPus & Quattro units) the serial number is on the *inside of the unit behind the front panel*. The front panel will need to be removed to access this." If this doesn't strike you as inconvenient (to put it mildly) I don't know what will.
My advice: as an end-user, think TWICE before you buy their products.

Victron have had my warranty item for almost 2 months and communication has ground to a halt.

Unit is rated for 1200 watt continuously and 2400 watt spikes, it overheats in room temperature while drawing 900 watt. Even tho i have it mounted vertical who gives the best cooling, the fan is either undersized/runs too slow to even cool off the rated specifications that they advertise it as.

We utilise Victron for all our off grid and hybrid solar systems. The equipment is simple the best design, quality long life product with great Victron team backup service.
We are delighted to be able to use Victron equipment for our customers.

I have over several years bought various Victron Energy products for my solar system. Their products are not in the budget category, but give the highest and most reliable service.
I like especially the very convenient and simple way the different solar units can communicate with each other and to me. Also the reliable functioning.
Recently I had a failure of one unit after several years of use. Victron Energy replaced the unit very quickly and without difficulties.
Several reviewers have complained about the Victron support. Victron's policy is that all complaints must go through the Victron dealer where the item was purchased. I think that these complaints have legibility, but in my case the support from Victron Energy was excellent. I'm very grateful to Victron Energy for their rapid and solid support.
I did have a problem with the Victron dealer where I purchased the solar unit, but with help from Victron energy the dealer became very helpful. I recommend Victron energy products and will certainly continue buying from them and recommending Victron to my friends.

Klantenservice en after sales compleet afwezig bij deze "Nederlandse" verdeler van Indiasespulletjes.
Op geen enkele manier kun je in contact komen met de firma die de spullen laat maken en laat verkopen. Je wordt verwezen naar fora, dealers, en zo meer. Victron zelf zit in een schuurtje in almere alleen maar geld te tellen en doosjes te schuiven.

Victron makes good products, no question. But it is the worst company imaginably when it comes to service, there is no service! I travel with my yacht Vryburg now for over 18 month around the world which makes it impossible to purchase all spare parts from the same dealer, therefore no dealer feels responsible for spares parts he did not sell. And when you contact Victron directly with any question they do not answer at all. For the future I will think at least twice before I would equip my boat again with Victron parts. Their back up service is terrible, no it is not existing. Georg Gundacker, Vryburg
