After our first removal company was a no show yesterday, UK movers were available at such short notice to come and help and literally saved the day! It was so refreshing to be able to contact someone directly either via WhatsApp or calling (when the other company was only an automated service!) Not only this, but when they arrived they were super speedy and got the job done incredibly fast all with a smile on their faces! Thank you again!

Very nice and polite people on the phones for quotes. The two gentlemen who did the move were very efficient speedy and respectful, great service.

We were so pleased and relieved to have found Ahmed and Khan from UK movers. They helped so much on a day that we found stressful enough! Nothing was too much effort for them and they were even fun to be around. Everything was moved carefully and to the correct place. We cannot recommend these 2 in particular highly enough and if all the movers from this company are like them you simply cannot go wrong! Thank you so much UK Movers!

Do not hire this company. I made the mistake of hiring them based on some good reviews from another site. The job was a for a 2 bedroom flat pack up on Day 1 and move on Day 2. Six weeks prior to the move, I did a video walk-through so they could estimate how many boxes, truck size and cost. On Day 1 (Packing Day), 1 man shows up who has boxes, tape and paper. I immediately ask what the plan is for breakable items and artwork as I know that paper is not going to be sufficient. He says he will call back to the office and ask them to bring some. No one shows. At this point I get our what little bubble wrap I have and begin wrapping my items myself. Day 2, the movers arrive 2 hours late. They proceed to waste an hour telling me their truck isn't big enough and proceed to make lots of back and forth calls with their home office. Then they finally begin moving. When it becomes apparent they are still resisting that all items will fit, I begin to break down the beds MYSELF to help them. Finally the home office calls and says they can send another truck now for £150 or come back tomorrow. Coming back the next day isn't an option and so I am stuck. Obviously didn't want to pay the 150 but had no choice! After we arrive at the new house and unload, I realize they've driven off with my flat keys. I text to ask them if they can return or mail them - zero response. Now the real fun part - remember the guy with no bubble wrap? Turns out he didn't use the flipping paper either. All glasses, plates, etc. are packed with no wrapping and stacked in boxes. Several pieces of furniture must have not even been covered as they were covered in a greasy substance from inside the truck. Gobsmacked a company would operate this way and NO ONE should use them for even a short, simple move.

Slightly disappointed: a number of issues occurred which were not to our liking:
1) the price quoted was for 3 delivery men, but only two showed up on the day. I could have gone with a cheaper alternative company but was told after the video survey by this company that three men would be required.
2) the price provided over the phone following the video survey did not include VAT, so the price was 20% higher than expected.
3) the van they sent got filled up entirely, so some items, including my expensive TV, I had to transport in my own vehicle.
4) The movers did not install my washing machine despite assembly and installation being included in the quote.

The delivery men themselves acted efficiently enough and were pleasant to deal with, although English isn't their first language so it was occasionally difficult to communicate.

Traumatising experience, avoid at all cost!!

The movers were not professional, just random guys they found outside, they didn’t want to disassemble our furniture and wanted to go upstairs with them. They damaged my walls. They didn’t take care of things nicely and just threw things in boxes.
Really if you want professional movers don’t use this company. All they want is money.

Avoid like the plague! Better yet, hope for the plague! Worst service, experience and move ever!!! I initially tried to book several times as their customer service failed to follow up on my quote requests. Then, after a good experience doing the virtual tour for a quote I was pleased to see a competitive quote. They were also very insistent on making me pay the deposit which I didn’t think much of at the time. Then because the refurbishment of my new place was running late I asked to reschedule and was quickly prompted to pay an extra £150 for the short notice which I didn’t argue with and highlighted the fact that I had been quoted the wrong amount as I wanted packing service. After dealing with a stroppy and untrained customer service rep I spoke with the manager, Adil, who was very courteous, professional and reassured me that all would go like a charm. 48 hours before the move my Mrs asked me if they’d have wardrobe boxes (as had happened in my previous 3 moves) and we she checked she was told that it would cost us extra. I called Adil asking why and was told that due to Covid they could not reuse wardrobe boxes and costs had increase hence the need to charge. I explained that it shouldn’t be my problem and I would sort it out myself.
Today was my move, I was told I’d get to vans and 5 trained men to take care of everything. I got one van, 3 guys, 1 who hardly spoke English and was treated like a slave, another one who explained that he was just helping out but it wasn’t his job and a third one who claimed to have 3 years experience and single handedly manager to damage two pieces of furniture and my walls despite me pleading with him that he had to dismantle them. I called UK moved to explain my ordeal and was told someone would call me right back. I’m still waiting for that call and when I called back to ask why no one got back to me I got hang up on by someone called Shawn. To make matters worse the 3 stooges, I mean movers, turned up without PPE that I ended up providing them with but more importantly they were using used boxes for my move while I had been told that the current situation didn’t allow for it. I really could not recommend to avoid them any further and would say that if you have already booked DO NOT PAY until the job is done otherwise you will get a crap service

I decided to go with UK MOVER as I needed to move out during the difficult covid period,I can gladly say that I was completely satisfied by their services. They visited my house and carried out a professional survey in which they gave me an accurate quotation for the move. I needed to have all my possessions packed, and moved to my new property. The removals guys especially Cameron did a great job and I was surprised how quickly they finished and packed everything up on the same day of the move with care.
I kept in contact with Sam all this time and he was always there to answer any of my questions over the phone. Would definitely recommend and use them again when the opportunity arises!!! One again thank you to the team for their excellent work!

These guys arrived on time and had a great Can do attitude. Loaded up in good time and all arrived safely. Plus they were very helpful Thank you to the whole team made moving less stressful and would definitely use again

Awful experience - quoted over the phone for a three bedroom house move with “30 boxes”. They came on delivery day with a tiny van and suggested I pay double for a larger van. The van they came in only fit 1/4 of our items, was not packed professionally, movers didn’t know how to move large items, no straps, thin blankets to protect large items (all of which had been noted in the original quote). Terrible service, completely unprofessional, so NOT use these guys.

I had a very traumatic experience with this company in July and despite writing to them they have not responded. Firstly they took an over the phone I inventory and then on the day they loaded the van and then threatened to leave all our belongings on the street if we didn't pay three times more than the price set over the phone. Then after paying them they dumped everything anywhere in the new flat. I had to throw away two Ikea kallax units that were badly damaged and broken. My £500 mattress had to be professionally cleaned. We also picked up a bed bug infestation and pay out £300 to get rid of them. The two removal men were rude and insulting throughout entire day. With no respect for you or your belongings. To top it off one removal guy tried to extort money from us without the offices knowledge. Criminals AVOID AT ANY COST.

I did some research on Google before booking a removals company, and UK MOVER ended up top of my list. I set about trying to get them booked, as when I was looking, it wasn't far from my moving date... The chap that answered the phone was very polite and professional, asked me a few questions, then advised that a free quotation would need to be done first. This was done by a very pleasant gentleman, no sucking of air through teeth, tutting or any other "that's going to cost you" mutterings. The quote was given verbally a couple of days later and was so reasonable that I accepted there and then. Great start to the process, and the day I requested was available too! On to moving day.

Courtesy call in the morning to ensure all was ok, and sure enough a proper moving van arrived outside the house, in good time, and not driving like Max Verstappen! A relief indeed. Two lovely chaps disembarked and knocked on the door. They introduced themselves and set to work on shifting our stuff. I thought I'd broken down the sofa but unfortunately I'd only separated it... Rather than tell me it couldn't be done, or even point out my mistake, Alex and Chris just separated the backs from the bases and shifted it, just chatting amongst themselves happy as you like. Everything loaded, they confirmed the new address and we set off over there. Only a short drive but they made excellent time and no hassles. I parked my car on next door's drive just to give them more room to work and sure enough the unloading began. Not only did Chris notice a couple of nails in the wall on the stairs, he even removed them! Top man. I worried that my headboard wouldn't fit up the two flights of stairs, but I needn't have, as before I knew it, it was up on the top floor! Chris even took the time to explain how, if I ever needed to, it had to be angled in order to get it down again. They even showed me the release pins on the sofa just in case I needed them in the future. Job well done and all items in the correct rooms. Alex and Chris even put the sofa back together again for us.
All told, I cannot thank UK Mover and their team, and of course Adil and his team for making this an easy move. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend UK Mover Ltd to anyone – really professional firm, all services ordered including packing and unpacking if needs be, and genuine pleasant staff. I couldn't choose Mover in the area list as it doesn't exist near me, so UK Mover was the closest option I was willing to select, however South London was the area I moved from and to.

We moved with this company who promised us a packing and moving service but when they came they refused to pack and disassemble and only sent 2 people when we paid for 4. They didn’t use care and furniture and clothes got damaged and items went missing and many large items were left behind. When we complained they asked for more money. It’s now 2 weeks and we still haven’t got a receipt. They are not regulated. I do not recommended then at all.

Terrible company - avoid avoid avoid.

This company promised me a smooth safe move of my belongings from my 4 bedroom house, and I paid for their packing and moving service. They said all the right things and I felt safe I was paying a significant amount for a professional service.

They suggested 3-4 people per day for 2 days would be required and 2 vans. Instead on the day 2 people came in 1 small van. They what I can only describe as threw my clothes into boxes (despite being promised and paying for wardrobe boxes). They didn’t help with any disassembling despite the quote saying this was included. They left the job unfinished, leaving carpets an cupboards full. They left 3 large holes in my walls which they then “repaired” causing even more issues.

When I complained after the first day the owner Adil was rude and dismissive and stated I needed to pay more money to get the services they clearly quoted me for and said were included on email. I told him I had paid for help as o had a newborn child but he just wanted more money.

What’s worse and left me traumatised was that when the took the first van load they then went for “lunch” and disappeared and did not return for over 2 hours. I then got a threatening phone call to say that if I did not pay the balance my belongings would be taken to storage. I was so terrified I had to pay.

Despite all this and paying in full I have not received a receipt from them, or an official reply to my complaint even after the 7 days I was meant to wait.

This company is what can only be described as criminal and I suggest you avoid it at your peril.
