Great communication from start to finish and furniture arrived at the final destination, within 1 day (London to Montrose). Was provided with plenty of packing material which was great. The pick up was really quick and off loading was great too.

My move was excellent. The movers were hard-working, cooperative and efficient. I honestly recommend them with no hesitation. The service provided was first-class. Thank you for making the move smooth & pleasant.

The staff were helpful and, when the move took longer than expected, continued working hard to complete it, although I had to pay additional charges.

Our movers were really professional and friendly, quick and helpful. The packing team who came the day before left quite a lot of cupboards untouched, so we ran late - but the moving team were great and everyone I spoke to on the phone was lovely

The moving service is excellent and the team is highly professional. The Movers are friendly and experienced so they will ensure that your belongings stay secure when moving to new place. The staff is talented and friendly so ensure that our move become well organized..

They are not real movers, they are listless and totally unprofessional people: they have ruined our sofa, the vacuum cleaner, a table, glasses, and cups. All glasses, plates, etc. are packed with no wrapping. We lost a lot of money due to these damages, they said they would refund us, at least partially... but they never did it. Do yourself a favor, AVOID THEM! BTW I think that the positive reviews are fake, there is nothing positive about these people.

The worst experience we ever had and we moved 5 times in London! They didn't keep any of the promises they made in the contract and when we challenged them they started shouting at us on the road that if we don't pay them they will leave the boxes on the road. I was traumatised by the whole experience and now we had to pay somebody to come and put back together what they had broken. I just wish these people would get another job as they are terrible at this one. Please do not use and trust my words! I don't know how they had hot the other reviews!

Amazing service from an incredibly hard working team

I had a horrible experience with this company yesterday and I wouldn't wish any customer will have to go through the same. They have a problem of communication and employ people who are not prepared for the job. While chatting with the back office was always smooth, what I actually experienced during the day with Sam and his colleagues was quite different. This is possibly not Osman and X's fault, or the additional driver they hired, even though the fact they don't speak a word of English doesn't help much. But the one person who really is a liability is Sam, who started the day arguing with me about parking at 8am, until I asked him whether he wanted to quit the job right now? I do regret very much that I did not do that, but instead went ahead. Sam is a bad driver, he is a bad packer, he is careless and disrespectful. He clearly hates his job and takes it out on the customer. At every single point of the process, I had to run after him, make sure they didn't break things or cause damage - which they still did: I was quite worried during the packing every time I heard them throwing things around, but I was really busy packing myself. That is because Sam always tried whenever possible to avoid doing any work himself. I realised today unpacking how much damage has been done. Additionally to some broken glasses, frames, and small presents, the packers damaged the wooden staircase in my house, taking off wooden splinters from the edges, and left a lot of dirt behind so that I had to constantly clean after them. At every single moment, at every single problem, I had to reason with Sam (who either ignored or dismissed my concerns). He seems to derive pleasure from making the life of his customers hell, and the best thing is: he will start cracking jokes at your expense (for instance, after he lost a few screws of my wooden shelving unit, he said when reassembling 'you know what, I'll send them in the post! Haha!'). As a packing-relocating company, I would expect that you hire people who are ready to pack, label and move stuff around with care (e.g. pictures, frames, plants, etc.) none of which they did. I would expect that workers would be careful to follow instructions (e.g. where to put the stuff): instead the workers ignored any of my concerns and requests, and just made sure they did everything as quickly and poorly as they possibly could.

Excellent experience. We had a few extra items and the driver didn’t mind at all. He also knew we had a baby so waited for us at the other end. The price was also really reasonable. Would use again 100%!

Solomon and Sam were absolutely amazing! They packed up the whole house so fast, dismantled everything and they were really friendly. They handled everything carefully and we would definitely recommend UKMovers!

Terrible experience.
Having been quoted based on a video walkthrough of my house, the 2 guys arrived and happily loaded up the van with all of my stuff. We then drove to the new house, where it transpired that the driver had been complaining to his boss that the walk was too far between the old flat, but rather than stating this at the time, they waited until we were parked outside the new house before holding my stuff ransom and trying to extort me for 3x the initial quoted price!!!!
The 'boss' then proceeded to call me, trying to reason with me around why they had underquoted by 66%, to which i responded telling him that it was in line with the other quotes.... he did not believe me, so i sent him an email to prove it, at which point he changed his argument to something else.
OVERALL AN AWFUL AND TRAUMATISING EXPERIENCE THAT ENDED UP COSTING ME 100% MORE THAN AGREED AFTER SOME NEGOTIATION.
To make it worse they took cash to avoid paying VAT!!!

Great team. They had to move me during lockdown and on one of the hottest days of the year. They were friendly and helpful and even took apart a flat pack bookshelf for me so that I could bring it.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Everyone was friendly, responsive and communicative. Solomon, who helped me move, was fantastic. The move went really well, and I would definitely recommend.

I highly recommend UK Movers. From start to finish, they were professional, we had a great rapport and their work was exceptional. On top of that, a great price. Don't hesitate, book them!!
