I can finally walk upright with my new walker and do not have to look at the ground to avoid potholes and the like. My young grandchildren call to each other to be quick to catch up with Oma.
At 84 years old I find it a bit heavy to get into my boot, but I manage. Would not be without it anymore. I still take my ordinary walker for a short walk round the shops and find I am walking more upright even with that now. Would not part with my new toy which I call upsala, German exclamation when something is about to go wrong and of course the birthplace of this marvellous invention.

Excellent. From my previous average 20m range, the world has now expanded so much that I was able to take my youngest round the dinosaur museum (him sitting on the seat, facing forward, when he got tired).

I received my Trionic Veloped Tour at the end of September. I am so glad that I've got it.
I used a walker before but even with that I was loath to go for a walk and would find lots of reasons why I shouldn't go All that has changed now with my Veloped I find that I walk better,my posture is better and Can walk a little faster, for much longer distances. My life has changed I enjoy my walks. I live by the sea and it's as if I am appreciating the view once more.
I would definitely recommend that if you are considering buying a walker or rollater look at Trionic don't be put off by the price it's worth every penny
It has made a big difference to me and my husband as we now go out for walks together and I love that.

With increasing years and ending up with one leg shorter than the other after a hip replacement, (This was the result of a breakage after a fall.) I felt I needed help with my stability when walking. I went through the natural progress of Zimmer frame, crutches, walking sticks - and I tried hiking poles. Walking progress was slow and confidence not completely restored. I then saw a Trionic advert - 'That was for me!'
I have been totally delighted with the Veloped Sport 14er. Before even trying it, one's confidence was immediately assured with the standard of engineering. I spent 40 years as a pilot and the Veloped matched the engineering of the aircraft I flew.
Use followed and that has been a month now, and my anticipation of quality and design have been reassured. Superb. It rises to all the promises of support in adverse conditions.
I am totally delighted with the Veloped. It was a good present to myself for my 88th birthday.

The product is super - administration, packing and delivery were excellent. Have had many admirers on my walks.

I had read positive reviews on the Trionic Sports Veloped after research on a suitable walking aid.I have been using Norwegian walking poles but my osteoporosis and arthritis were limiting my walking. I ordered one through Mobility Smart in Preston October 4th and received it a week later. Since then I have walked 3 times my normal walk each day and today I walked at least 4-5 miles,which may not sound a lot but for me it was such an achievement ! I was stopped 3 times by someone asking about it, one lady even took a photo to send to her aunt saying it looked exactly what she needed ! I bought the Walker 14er for my husband (who didn’t think his mobility was bad enough to warrant a walking aid. However, I thought differently.) After using it for less than five minutes he absolutely loved it and it’s changed his mobility completely. I wanted a Trionic so we could go to the places that we hadn’t been to for years - beaches/woodland, etc. When using his walking stick we’d walk for about ten minutes and then he’d want to go back to the car. Not any more! Our first major trip with the 14er was to take it to Jersey in the Channel Islands, on our annual holiday. He was able to walk freely on the beaches for so much longer than he used to, knowing he could sit down whenever he wanted. It was also easy to take on the island’s buses meaning we could explore Jersey without me worrying if our walks would be too long and where he could rest. My husband walks much faster and with a much better posture than he ever did when using his walking stick. We are both so thrilled with our Trionic - it’s improved both our lives!

I have a rare neurological condition Hereditary Spastic Paresis which causes muscle stiffness, balance issues and consequently mobility problems.

I have used walking poles for the last couple of years but when i walk i no longer enjoy my surroundings as i am so busy looking at the ground and concentrating so i don't fall.

I thought long and hard about buying a walker as it felt like giving in but i was equally fed up of hanging off my husband or treating a walk like a battle to stay upright rather than an enjoyable experience.

After much research i came across the veloped and ordered it in July. I can honestly say it has changed my life, i am learning to enjoy my walks and not stare at the ground constantly. I am getting used to steering it, i prefer 2 wheels down as it feels more stable and there is a definite knack to turning it in that mode, but the more i use it the better i get.

I am now walking everyday and on the 8th Oct i start a 100 mile walking challenge to be completed in 4 weeks for MND research. I need to walk 3.2 miles every day over that period to reach my target which will be hard, i would never have considered this without my veloped.

I seriously cannot recommend the veloped enough, I've got all the gadgets for it and love it..It has definitely been a big investment but worth every penny, life changing in such a good way.

We bought the veloped sport as we live on a farm and have horses and were very pleased with it and felt safe using it. But we found it a bit large for some situations like hospital appointments and getting it in car. So bought the walker as well. We are a little disappointed with the wheels and wish they were the same as the veloped sport. We are two old sisters trying to maintain an outdoor life in spite of our medical conditions

A first class product . I absolutely love my new Trionic Trek because it has given me back some independence . I can now access town and it skips over kerbs beautifully. So much so that you wouldn’t even know the kerb is there. I love that it is easy to switch it from city mode to trek mode so I can access beach and forest . It easy easy to manage with my 3 dogs too. I love the accessories such as the walking stick holder, the drink holder and the rain ☔️ cover. The wheels are so easy to take off or put on. I manage this with just one hand as I have reduced mobility in the other. All in all it’s a wonderful product, a huge thank you to Stefan and Trionic Team 😊 from Carmen

In use the walker is ideal for rough paths and performs well.
I had hoped to use it independently but it is too heavy to lift into my Kia estate car with the wheels attached.
It is too awkward to fit the wheels back on when taking it out of the car. This is partly because of my disability but if I were not disabled I would not need a walker!
The wheels are heavy and do not fit easily

I bought my veloped in July 2021 and I have never looked back having suffered with a back and balance problem for several years walking with the veloped keeps my back straight and I am no longer concerned about my balance as the frame gives me confidence when I am walking I can now walk much further than I was able before I can't recommend the veloped enough I have used it on rough terrain while on holiday and it managed it all without a problem I feel it has given me my independence back which at 75 years old is just amazing .

Walker 12er

The Walker 12er has been a transformative experience for my father. He feels safe and enabled to walk outside again and with much greater confidence and ability. The med/large is the perfect size for his 6ft frame and he can manoeuvre it easily, due to the ingenious design in the manner of movement of the front wheels. The Walker 12er feels sturdy and yet lightweight. The air-filled tires traverse grass, gravel and uneven paths with ease.
Stefan was extremely efficient and helpful in advising about the most suitable walker for my father's needs. The Walker 12er was despatched on a Monday and arrived promptly on Friday of the same week - brilliant service. Thank you, Stefan and the Trionic company :)

I'm glad I discovered the Veloped Sport. I knew I was going to love it the first 6 meters I tried it. We have a front drive of gravel. My older traditional rollator just could not be used in the loose gravel, the Veloped was no problem.

I originally wanted an off road rollator as we enjoy walks in the New Forest. I've only had it for 10 days or so but we walking further and easier now than I ever could with the traditional rollator. My wife comments my posture is much better than with the traditional rollator as my hands are beside me.
We sometimes go very off road just to see where the limits were. So far I have not been disappointed

You will need to practice and be mindful of what works for you. Especially on down hill slopes, when walking across a slope and if the track you are using has a significant crown stay near the centre as the Veloped wants to veer off to the side of the crown.

The brakes are very good but you will need to practice especially on downhill paths. Sometimes using one finger to apply them will help.

Overall I'm very pleased with the Veloped

I recently bought the Trionic Trek. I wanted to write a review so that it might help others decide. A few points:

1/ I checked the size of the seat beforehand with them, but despite measuring my old walker and it being the same size, I found the Trionic to be too small breadth-wise to sit on.

2/ The seat is not designed for comfort: The curved rail which is behind you once sat down is too far forward, and pushes you into a 'perch' rather than a 'sit'. For anyone with muscle weakness, like me, this is hard on the legs.

3/ I have FND with a lot of muscle weakness. I found the Trek to be just too heavy to manoeuvre. For example, it didn't move easily from side to side easily. It's a bit of a monster :O)

4/ It did arrive with a fault (one wheel had a bust inner tube) and due to waiting to get that to the garage and not being well, it took me 6 weeks to get out and try it.

5/ I asked to return it and Trionic sent a terse reply, saying I was out-with the time for return (2 weeks) and saying 'Despite the fact that Great Britain have left the EU, we still offer a 14-day return policy for British customers, although the obligatory EU return policy no longer applies to the UK.'

6/ I have spent £900 on something I can't use and was defective on arrival. I just wanted to warn other buyers. This company are not into discussing ways to return an item.

Could it be to do with Brexit and an underlying impatience with the UK? possibly, and understandable. But for a company which advertises itself as accessible and offering ways to better disabled people's lives, they sure are not open to caring about their customers.... not really.

This is not to say that more able people will not enjoy the Trek, I can see it working really well for someone who needs gentle assistance walking and somewhere to store food and drink whilst they're out for a ramble. But this is not designed for very disabled people like me, who can walk a short way, but need easy manoeuverability and a good seat.

The Trionic 14er has made such a difference to my life. I pulled it out of the box and set off for a walk. It is so easy, taking less effort to manoeuvre than my small indoor rollator. The pneumatic tyres make it easy to use over rough ground and grass.
Walking is so much easier with the support of the sturdy frame and sprung tyres, there is no jolting to stress my shoulders.
I cannot praise the people at Trionics highly enough for their efficiency both in answering questions and organising delivery so promptly; from Uppsala to the Scottish Isles in a matter of days.
I thoroughly recommend the Trionic 14er.

I have suffered from peripheral neuropathy for over 5 years, which makes it difficult for me to walk. Indeed, my daughter was appalled to see how unstable I was even with a stick and said that I should get an aid with wheels. I tried what was available in my local area but felt very insecure with those put forward to me. Further searching of the Internet revealed a company called Trionic in Sweden with a UK website. What a different experience! Here was a company which specialised in making upmarket wheeled walkers of lightweight aluminium. Within 3 weeks I had ordered a Veloped which arrived safely 4 days later at my front door. I have not been let down by my choice. The Veloped is just incredible. The design and build are quite wonderful and, with its unique triangular wheel configuration, it ensures that I am now able to walk with confidence and enjoy the outdoors again. I must say 'well done' to Trionic. The Veloped is a winner!

The Trionic 14” wheel walker has given me back the independence I had lost for years. For years I had to hold on to others if there was uneven ground, gravel or sand to walk on and just avoided those surfaces as I need to stop and sit regularly and it was just all too much effort. Now I have freedom to roam. This brilliant walker has meant the limitations on my life are so much less.
I held back from buying one for a long time as they are a big investment. But that’s what they are, an investment that gives you a much fuller and more rewarding life.
My self confidence is so much higher now I have this walker.
I feel so much safer now I use this walker.
The quality of the build is head and shoulders above any other walker I have seen.
The engineering is so far advanced on any other walker I have seen or had over the years.
The support and communication from the makers is second to none.
You get superb service on the website and if you have a query , Stefan who designed and created this life enhancing walker will message you personally.
After much use and at 5 yrs old I lost a part , a replacement part was sent from Sweden immediately free of charge and you don’t get better service than that....
Don’t wait, buy one now, it will improve your life immeasurably. It is one of those rare items that really is worth the cost.
