I have been dealing with this company for almost 3 years now. Paid them over $6k only to have my timeshare close my account on their own. Time share exit team for about a year denied me a refund even tho the process hadn’t even started on their end. I paid them $6k for NOTHING!! Finally, about 1 year ago a representative called me and told me I would be receiving $4,500 ish of the $6k I paid. Fine. That’s better than having to deal with this company any longer. I thought that was the end of the process. I was wrong. I was told all they needed to do was send me a form to fill out and the money would be direct deposited into my account. This was 1 year ago!! Still no form and no calls back. Received an email telling me that they made a mistake telling me I would be getting a refund. Unbelievable!!! Please do not use this company!!! You’re better off staying trapped in an timeshare contract! Or at least try to settle with your timeshare instead of this company. WORST COMPANY EVER!! So frustrating!

When you hire the Timeshare Exit Team, they DO NOT deal with any loans or outstanding debt to the resort in question. Apparently they get you out of the contract with BlueGreen only. Hence, we had to call the resort and settle to pay off what I believe is the principle. Still trying to figure out why the word 'terminate' was used in an e-mail by our Exit Team Lawyer?

BLUF: I believe their lawyers are overwhelmed and they really don't have the time to talk to their customers, explain, and recommend options. If perception is reality, it looks pretty shabby. We haven't quite resolved things yet. I may come back and revise these observations and bump up the stars. Niklas.

I am extremely disappointed in the service I have received from ReedHein and Associates TimeShare exit team. Since sending payment of $18,309, I have had to initiate ALL conversation and contact with ReedHine and Associates. Even that has not been without incident requiring multiple calls and weeks to get any response.

Frankly, I find it hard to believe that Dave Ramsey endorses an organization that appears to be little more than another scamming organization to steal dollars from folks that own a timeshare.

I have requested a full refund of the payment sent ReedHeine and Associates, since they have not provided any of the services promised or fulfilled their end of the agreement. After sending multiple emails requesting a refund, I finally got a phone asking if I've heard from my timeshare company. I curious why I only received service after requesting a refund.

Don't get scammed like I did seek help elsewhere!!!!!

7/30/2021 Update
After multiple emails and complaints, I finally received a call from a representative and explained my situation. I asked for a refund since I had done all of the work to get my timeshare exit and was told they needed copies any correspondence I had with my timeshare company. I promptly sent the information and received an email stating I had not be officially released. I followed up by calling the county recorders office for each of my timeshares. All of them confirming the change of deed for my timeshare ownership. I again did all of the work!

A few weeks after this correspondence, I get an email from the TimeShare Exit Team with letters attached for each timeshare stating I had been officially released from my timeshare obligations.

NO KIDDING! WHERE IS MY REFUND?

I paid over 4000. dollars in 2017. To date, my timeshare has not been sold. Last year I asked for a refund and was informed that everything I paid would be forfeited if I requested a refund. Check out all the complaints against this company. Major scam.

Never ever trust this company. I signed with them back in 2017, and kept paying monthly. They promised to get me out of timeshares in about 8 months. I kept following up with them for almost a year but they never replied. No updates or anything. Then in 2019ish I found out they are in a legal battle. Fast forward 2021 they are charging me for my past dues. Sorry, i ain't paying for non service.

I agree with all the others have said. They are a total scam and being banned in several states, plus class action law suits. They did nothing to help us. They had our money from Nov. 2018 until April 2020. At that time I informed them we were out of our time share. We refinanced our mortage and the the man working with us said you don't owe Blue Green anything, they dropped you in March of 2019! When I informed them they said they would review it but of course they refused to return our $7000.00 that they have used interest free for a year and a half!!! One reason we went with them was the backing from Dave Ramsey. He continues to advertise for them. This so called good christian. Since when do good christians promote stealing and scams. I wonder how much of our money went to Dave Ramsey for promoting them. He should be ashamed!

I wish I could give this company less then 1 star that is how bad they are. July 2016, we paid Reedheim Timeshare Exit Team over $7,000 and as per the contract we were told that we could get 100% of our money back it if they were unable to get us out of the timeshare contract. They said it may take 9-18 months for this exit to take place. It is now almost 5 years later and they have not gotten us out of our timeshare nor are they willing to refund our money. We have reached out to them several times and they keep saying that our resort is aggressive and it is hard to get us out. We have asked for a refund several times considering the time frame but they refuse to comply. Essentially our story is the same as numerous other complaints against the Reedheim Timeshare Exit Team. The only contact we’ve had is when I reach out and they may or may not respond. The bottom line is they have not provided the service we paid over $7,000 for, so we are now requesting a 100% refund as is stated in our contract. Let this be a cautionary tale, AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!!!!!!

As an update I just spoke to a Customer Service rep from Reedheim and they gave me a very long winded excuse that it was their BC division who took our money and then closed, so the US division has kindly taken up our cause, out of the kindness of their hearts and out of their own pocketbook to fund our exit. Does this ring false to anyone other than me???? We all know they would never do the work for us if they hadn't already received the funds. This is just a convenient little legal technicality they are using as a way of getting out of honoring the 100% Money Back Guarantee in our contract and to not provide the service promised. Essentially the guarantee is a lie, just a way to suck people into handing over their money for a service they will never receive. Reedheim Timeshare Exit is a bigger SCAM than the timeshares are. Beware anything associated with Reedheim!!!!!

I purchased a Timeshare "ownership" through Trendwest resorts back in 1998-1999. The usual high-volume sales pitch offering a free trip for 2 to Las Vegas if you sign up today. This was a huge mistake, not an investment and a waste of money. Many of the dates during the summer, holidays, spring breaks, etc., were all blacked out and I could never gain any access to or reservations due to the limited credits or points on my account. I would have to purchase more points or pay more out of pocket to reserve certain timeshare locations. Timeshares sale you on convenience, fun and value, but they don't tell you that you will pay more in maintenance fees and finance costs each month. Trendwest was bought out by Wyndham Resorts, which I was foolishly apart of for 17+ years. During that time, I paid an estimated $40,000+ in annual maintenance fees alone. I made several attempts during my ownership to reach out to Wyndham Resorts and other Timeshare services to sell my timeshare, but with no success. I did not want to continue throwing money away on monthly maintenance fees. Luckily, I found Timeshare Exit Team. The Timeshare Exit Team were 100% honest, helpful, friendly and empathetic to my situation. They have helped others like me, successfully solve my existing timeshare money trap. The Timeshare Exit Team kept me updated on their progress each month. I was able to call anytime to check on the status of my account. And finally, within 9 months, I was free! The Timeshare Exit Team provided that security and peace of mind I needed. Their integrity and transparency throughout the process was very helpful and reassuring. I have recommended them to many of my friends, family and colleagues searching for a solution out of their timeshare traps as well!

We have been working with this Company for five years. We were assured that if they were unable to complete the exit process in 18 month our fees would be refunded. Well, five years into it and they have been unable to do their part. Now when it's time to refund the fee , they are trying to play games with us and trying to avoid giving our fee back. Very tricky and unprofessional company. I will never recommend this company to any family or friends. Worse business ethics, preying on vulnerable and distressed clients for few grands!

Scam!! They hide behind small print that contradicts what sales representative states in the high pressure selling process. There is no risk 100% money back guarantee.

I am so disappointed in this team. We signed on with Timeshare Exit Team back in October 2014 to get out of our Timeshare. In October or 2015 we got our letter stating we were free and clear of our timeshare and had no further obligation to them, However the notices kept coming in and we dutifully forwarded them all to Timeshare Exit to deal with. The notices however kept coming, although they got erratic and when we next contacted them to let them know we had received another one, they let us know that our file was closed and there was nothing else they could do as the file was closed and after a few emails they offered to refund us our money. This week we got a letter from a collection agency, We put our trust in them and abided by their comments to not engage with or respond to anything the Timeshare sent us and now we are in this situation. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Even though the process was time consuming, and even during this COVID pandemic, the results were positive and I am finally out of my time share. A very professional staff! Thank you!

Thus company is awesome. It’s not easy to get out of a Timeshare. The process wasn’t fast, easy, or seamless, but we are completely exited from our Timeshare. We are very satisfied with this company.

I to wish i have would have read these reviews before they got about $4000.00 out of us! they are a hoax company and all they do is take your money and do nothing in return . My question is if enough of get together could we sue them and get our money back?

It has been almost 6 years since contacting TimeShare ExitTeam. I gave them almost $4500 to get me out of this. In their package was a step by step plan and a promise to contact me monthly. That was the last time I heard from them unless I called them first.

Even after the president called me direct many years later telling me that TimeShare had indeed dropped the ball, he assured me he would personally kick the ball down the field. That fizzled as soon as he hung up.

Two years ago TimeShare then asked us to sign a Power of Attorney document allowing TimeShare to settle with the resort. It was going to cost more money on top of the annual maintenance fees we were instructed not to pay 6 years ago.

I knew then that we have been victimized twice.

Like many of the reviews on this site, we too have confirmed that Time Share Exit Team is unreliable, unprofessional, untrustworthy, deceptive, and purposely misrepresenting their services. In the process they take money deceptively without conscience from ordinary unsuspecting kind people just looking to rid themselves of burdensome manipulation. In fact, the time share exit team becomes the timeshare company. Such irony. During the 18 month (acknowledged time frame) we did not receive one unsolicited communique. At the 18 month anniversary day we communicated and soon realized that nothing had been done on our behalf. I requested phone records, bills, letters, memos, emails that demonstrated any communication with the resort on our behalf. Nothing. Four months past the 18 month bench mark and the company now is standing on the letter of the law saying we did not agree to the resort's settlement offer of an additional 11 thousand dollars so they are no longer responsible since we decided not to accept the offer. We were not told upfront or in the process that there would be an exorbitant amount in addition to Exit Team's fee.s Fellow victims, I imagine you are as weary as I of being taken advantage of. You are as weary as I of living by the spirit of the law only to be abused by the letter of the law. Our only recourse are letters like these to ease the pain. It is hard to imagine how people live with themselves at the end of each day just ruining other peoples lives. I imagine they are very angry people. If you are reading this, most likely you are in the same position. Once again, I learned the hard way that you can't trust anyone. If you are researching for the best company, be sure to secure one that does escrow payments so you can at least get your money back. Good luck.

We went with Timeshare Exit Team based on recommendation from Dave Ramsey. It’s been almost 4.5 years and they have not gotten us out. A lot of these reviews sounds exactly like our experience. They charged us $5,867 in fees saying it would take up to 18 months. We’ve continued to pay monthly payments to the timeshare @ $188 ever since totaling over $9000. Together that is over $15,000. 4.5 years is just ridiculous and the money back guarantee is deceitful. They are willing to drag this out till we payoff the timeshare. If it was paid off, we could get ourselves out.

We are very frustrated and disappointed with this company! We have had bad experiences with communication and continue to pay maintenance fees. We are very disappointed that Dave Ramsey recommends this company. We see all of the bad reviews here and wish we had read them beforehand.

Chose them 3 yrs ago. They took my thousands and then did NOTHING! Two & 1/2 yrs later, I am billed by the timeshare co for additional $800, just as COVID starts. I had problems trying to contact the same person at Reidheim & Assoc. They gave me the run around for 3 months. Then they told ME to contact timeshare co asking what it takes to be rid of it. This was their entire contribution and legal advice. I did this which cost me more thousands. Reidheim is as much of a ripoff as the timeshare was.

Update to my last review
After my last review I got a phone call from this company (ReedHein Time Share exit team) telling me that I am still their customer. Prior to this correspondence it had been months before I had heard anything from them. But they had nothing to offer as far as progress or solutions when they called.
Bottom line: They took $4845.15 from me in May 2019, and NOTHING has happened. I continue to pay timeshare maintenance fees year after year (2020, 2021..) and I am still not out. I was told that if they couldn't get me out in 18 months I would be refunded. Another lie. PLEASE don't use these people. I would not trust ANY timeshare exit team after this.
My husband and I are retirees and we feel like we were completely taken advantage of. At this point, I just want my money back, so that I can at least use it to pay for the annual maintenance fees until my contract expires. But I can't get them to honor their promise of a refund either.
I sincerely hope this review can save someone else some heartache.
