A good range of products but a lack of the after sales services. No tracking code for the goods, no communication about the postage leaving the customer completely blind.

Overall, it's an "ok" shop.

I wrote 5 emails
Only one was acknowledged but never replied to.
The other 4 emails were never answered...

WARNING! DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THEM. THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY AND RUN! They took my order and money on 19th May 2020. Today it is July 3rd 2020. They did not deliver anything, did not respond to telephone messages, emails or chat, completely ignored my demand for a refund.

Great service, ordered on the 10th June, and received on the 19th, they do state there maybe delays on the website due to covid, but promise once in they will dispatch on a 1 - 2 day service. I got a shipment email from them the day before it was delivered with tracking. I could not fault the whole process, and will definitely be using again, for my Turkish produce

EDIT- After receiving a phone call from the owner of the Turkish shop I feel more confident with this site and the people running it. He was very apologetic and I'm excited to see what does turn up.

Ordered alot of stuff from this site for a 30th birthday present. Nothing has arrived. It's been 16 days since it should have arrived. The birthday has been and gone. Countless emails sent, no response to any of them other than the automated you will get a response within two days email. If someone from theturkishshop.com would like to respond to me on here that would be brilliant.

Ordered and paid for 1-2 day delivery. No item received 2 weeks later. Messaged via website, emailed and called- no response. It later transpired that The Turkish Shop were moving premises. An alert during the order process would have clarified. Products are faultless.

I have ordered some turkish food from the turkishshop.i have been waiting 6 weeks .i knew that they having problems cause of the covid 19.they have rang me and explain why everything delayed and they promised me that they would send my items next day and they have kept their promises.i recieved everything in good conditions.they also rang me to make sure I have received them in good condition.i was happy that they rang me and explain everything.they are not scams or ignoring people.i will order more products soon

Thieves, took my money, didn't receive anything. Stay far away from these scammers. Haram olsun size o para, ins Allah.

We ordered from Turkish porter but we have received neither a follow up call nor the order
After several weeks we cancelled the order and asked for a refund but they haven’t replied to any of our emails or messages since then.
We ordered on the 1st May order no:3659
We are thoroughly disappointed.

Be aware that delays may occur as the supply chain from Turkey may be slower than usual. I got a helpful response from The Shop over my enquiry over timing.

My experience with the Turkish Shop unfortunately was not nice. After trying to reach them for a long time with multiple calls and emails, I gave up. They managed to deliver my order after a month. At least, they gave a call to explain the situation.

this is a hell of a company. i just want my money back,this company is making me ill with no refund and not one not one reply to my request.

I wish I read the reviews here before I placed a big order on 18th Feb. The status of the order still is "processing" and I cannot reach them. I would like a refund and cancel it but I couldn't find anyone to talk to. Is there any other place where I can write this to? Like a consumer rights association or something? I want my money back!

PS: Being Turkish I am really ashamed of this store carrying the name "The Turkish Shop".

Update: they called me and told me the order will be delivered within the following week and this was like 2 months ago. Still want my money back.

Update2: Still no refund.

I ordered some Turkish tea from this site on 10/2/20 in the evening (thus not expecting immediate dispatch) but on one-day delivery, which I paid extra for. However, I received an email from the shipping company 3 days later saying my order would 'soon be shipped'. Feeling slightly upset that I hadn't yet received the tea, I sent the company a message in the help section of their website detailing my concerns and asking for the postage money back as it had not yet been dispatched.
Though I received an automatic response detailing that I would be answered within two working days ('and usually much quicker than that'), I have not yet received a response - or my item - and it has been over 3 weeks. I'm currently £10+ out of pocket and ended up ordering tea from elsewhere, which, ironically, turned up ahead of schedule.

Do not waste your money with this company, I implore you.

I used to like this company but I placed an order with them 6 months ago and despite repeated emails they have not replied to any of them. They have obviously had issues with stock but instead of updating customers about their orders they have just put a banner on their website - I have emailed them repeatedly about three orders and I have not received any acknowledgement of my questions never mind answers. Once my orders are finally delivered a free what will be a three month delay (I doubt I will ever be reimbursed for or receive the order I placed in July 2019) I will never use this company again. Which is a shame because they’re products are good.
