Beautiful blanket. Warm, cosy, soft. Lovely subtle pattern. Gorgeous colours. I occasionally find wool can have an itchy texture. This blanket does not! On receiving the blanket I realised... Zobacz więcej

Thanks for the colourful blanket. I was slightly underwhelmed with the lose weave and, feeling the blanket, I think it would improve after a wash which would also remove the deep creases. As it is a g... Zobacz więcej
Lovely blanket, loved by myself and my 4 cats, it’s a bit of a fight who can snuggle into it first. The colours are beautiful (burnt orange and grey), I choose the small size which is perfect for snug... Zobacz więcej

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business founded by siblings Bethan and Joe John in 2015. From our design studio in Bristol, we create blankets and scarves that celebrate colour, comfort and traditional craftsmanship. Our mission is simple: to bring natural warmth and timeless style into your home. Every piece is woven from natural, biodegradable fibres, including wool and recycled cotton, by carefully chosen mills in the UK and Ireland. We take pride in working closely with these makers, helping to preserve traditional weaving skills while supporting sustainable and ethical production. Each blanket is designed to be as beautiful as it is practical, with uplifting colours inspired by nature and our local surroundings. From cosy throws for the sofa to extra-long blankets for the bed, we believe in making homeware that lasts for years to come. As a small, family business, we care deeply about the people who choose our blankets. That means thoughtful service, attention to detail, and a genuine connection with our customer community. When you buy from The British Blanket Company, you’re choosing quality, sustainability, and a little piece of Britain’s rich textile heritage.

Let down by poor customer service
Great product let down by Awful customer support. Only order if you absolutely know you won’t need to return it.
My first order was a huge success, so much so that the recipient went on to order more. Buying from British companies is really important to me, so I was delighted to find the perfect gift.
The second order has been a disaster and customer service has been short and unhelpful. On arrival the colour was not as per online, so I requested a replacement in a different colour. It’s taken weeks to track down the return, no replacement was sent and finally I received a refund (almost 2 months after my original order).
I won’t be making another purchase.
I’ve found another UK ethical blanket shop with good customer service reviews.

I'm sorry to read about this experience. We offer free return labels and we process refunds on returned items at least twice each week. I do apologise that your parcel was delayed in coming back to us, and so you waited much longer than usual. We hope you will return to our shop as we'd love the opportunity to show you our service matches our products. Thank you for taking the time to flag your experience.

It's great to hear you're enjoying your new blanket, thank you! Bethan & Joe - The British Blanket Company
Looks good quality
Looks good quality, bought it as a Christmas housewarming gift, so yet to unpackage it.
The only annoying thing is the constant email bombardment subsequent to my purchase thinking I am in the market for further blankets, I will be but not on for good while, so perhaps your marketing team would benefit by asking as to what frequency of selling emails would be relevant to me….

Thank you for the lovely feedback on your blanket, we're really pleased it made a good gift.
We also appreciate your feedback on our emails, we do tend to send a few more around Christmas time, but we will certainly have a look at your preferences so we can send you only the ones you'd like.

Beautiful wool blanket
Beautiful wool blanket, nicely packed. The only reason the one star is missing is because of the delivery that was quite lousy; I had amended the instructions, regardless, it wasn't acted upon.

I was so pleased with the first recycled blanket I bought, I bought a second. Both are gifts. The website was easy to use, the turnaround time was great, both arrived in great condition & when they said they would. The blankets are lovely & I will be ordering more.
