Tony isn't your traditional Estate Agent and I say that in the most positive way! Tony has a very personable and personal approach to selling. He really invests alot of time and energy into selling your property. You never feel like you are one of many online ads. After three local agents, we tried Tony and we were very happy we did. As others have said, Tony really works hard to get the paperwork side of things moving and even mucked in on completion day when I was cleaning the house as the movers were late!!
Communication was excellent. Tony was contactable outside of office hours which was a real positive for us. Sometimes when work is so busy you just don't have the brain space to deal with things in work hours so what could normally take a day to get sorted ends up taking several but not with Tony. We received updates and calls in the evenings if needed and we were super pleased with that.
He was even in contact when he was on holiday! (I mean he did send pics of the skiing holiday he was on whilst I was in the Chi office and it was grey and cloudy but I will let him off for that ....)

Dallas Clements took on trying to sell my property after no luck with another estate agent. Dallas made a video of the inside of my property as well as drone footage which I thought was great! It looked really professional! He also shared the video to local FB groups. Dallas really knows his stuff when it comes to buying and selling properties. I ended up accepting an offer which Dallas negotiated to try and get me the best possible price. Dallas provides an honest and personable service and adds you into a whatsapp group with him and his sales progressor Jayne, who are both available and responsive to answer any questions and to give you regular progress updates. Jayne is very knowledgeable, keen and proactive when it comes to the sales process and was on hand to answer any questions I had - (There were many) 😅 ... You don't get this sort of service from high street estate agents. Dallas and Jayne make a great team! I'd be lying if I said that the selling and then finding / buying an onward property was a stress-free process, but with Dallas and Jayne by my side it felt like a smoother experience overall. Before working with Tony at TAUK, we had used two local high-street estate agents to try and sell our house. Despite both claiming they were “different”, in reality they were exactly the same — operating 9–5 Monday to Saturday, closed on Sundays, listing on the usual portals like Rightmove and offering only limited social media exposure.

From the very beginning, it was clear that the way Tony works is genuinely different. He took the time to explain how TAUK operates and it was obvious that their approach to selling property has evolved and moved forward, while many traditional agents are still relying on outdated methods.

One of the biggest differences for us was communication. We set up a WhatsApp group with Tony, which meant we could ask questions and get quick responses up until around 8pm, including evenings and weekends — even Sundays. We were never restricted to office hours to organise viewings, get updates or simply have a chat about how things were progressing. If we preferred, we could always just pick up the phone and call him.

When it came to selling our house, we were consistently kept up to date with feedback after every viewing. Tony personally attended each viewing, which gave us real confidence. This meant there was continuity and that he knew our home inside out. Having previously experienced high-street agents using part-time or weekend staff who simply open the door and know very little about the property, this made a huge difference to us.

Equally, when we wanted to view properties that Tony was selling, we were usually able to do so within 24 hours — often even on a Sunday. This was in stark contrast to other agents, where we regularly faced delays of two to three days or more just to get a viewing arranged.

Overall, working with Tony to sell our old home and secure our new one was a breath of fresh air. The service was modern, proactive and genuinely personal. We would highly recommend Tony at TAUK to anyone thinking of selling and/or buying a property.

Tony is an amazing estate agent. One of the first things I said to him was “I want to feel safe”. Throughout the whole process that is exactly how we felt. We knew we could trust him implicitly. We needed to sell our house in Aldwick this year. We originally marketed our house with a well known local agent, but decided to switch agents after 3 months when we felt the marketing of our home needed more than just posting on the property portals.
We had never really heard of Tony Wood of TAUK but looking at his reviews we thought he could offer something truly different to the high street agents. We rang him on a Saturday morning and he met us on Sunday morning at our home where he explained his strategy for selling our property. We were hugely impressed and immediately felt we could trust Tony to sell our house.
In a few days Tony came round and took drone footage of our property highlighting our proximity to the sea and local amenities. The video was posted on Facebook and we got instant traction with requests to view our house. Tony also took a full suite of amazing photographs highlighting the benefits of our house which were posted on social media sites and property portals.
We saw an instant increase in viewings shortly followed by multiple offers.
Unfortunately, an offer we accepted fell through which was really tough for us. Tony came around that night and spent nearly 2 hours with us, reassuring us our house would sell and agreeing a new strategy.
Within 2 weeks we had another offer which we accepted and progressed to completion! The UK property sales process is in desperate need for reform, as what should have been a celebration following the offer acceptance turns into weeks of stress until contracts are finally exchanged. Tony was always there for us and would often pop round for a coffee just to chat and offer his reassurance. Something we called "Tony time"!
Tony always takes a very proactive approach to selling your property, ensuring the other agents in the chain are chased regularly to ensure the sale quickly progresses without delay.
Tony has a lot of local contacts and we would suggest using the services he recommends. We used Rosie Cowley at CMS solicitors who Tony recommended. The service was brilliant and Tony's connection with Rosie made the process much smoother.
During the sales process, not only did we get to know Tony really well, we also got to know his family. Tony offers a truly personal service and we are proud to say that Tony is not just our estate agent, he is our friend!
If you want estate agent who really cares, who goes the extra mile, offers viewing times to suit buyers including weekends and evenings (Tony does all the viewings himself), gives timely and honest feedback and is just a genuinely nice guy, please give him a call. We had a fantastic experience with Lisa Gentry. After months of no progress with another agent, Lisa stepped in and immediately turned things around. Her attention to detail during house tours was super, and her communication was second to none. We had more serious interest in the first two weeks with Lisa than we had in three months with the previous firm.
