Work completed on agreed schedule. The engineers were a pleasure to have around and when they finished they really tidied up well.

I am really pleased that I chose to go with Tarven for the installation of our solar panels and battery storage. This is a significant investment and you want to get the system right. Jake made a site visit (some other solar installation companies don’t do site visits, they rely on drone pictures of your roof). He advised on a suitable system based on the house and our use. The written quote was detailed and explained what was going to be provided and what Tarven were going to do in plain English, no hidden costs. Tarven are MCS registered and this was reassuring to me owing to the requirements that MCS registered companies have to abide by. All my questions were answered thoroughly. I was able to contact previous customers for references. I knew the solar panels I wanted based on my research and Jake immediately told me that they were the only panels that Tarven fit owing to them being the best for the UK ‘climate’. Even on quite a cloudy day, the power from the panels is impressive.
The team that fitted the solar panels were friendly and courteous. Neat and tidy. The listened to my requests for the cabling to be put at the side of the house rather than right down the front and it all looks really neat.
Overall, I’m pleased I went with Tarven for my own solar panel and battery storage installation and can recommend them.

My initial assessment with Jake about what we wanted done, Solar Panels on flat roof areas. Went really well. He was very knowledgeable and came up with the best possible solution to meet our wishes. He was kind, friendly and sympathetic towards our delays caused by us needing planning permission, due to said flat roof.

On the day the guys worked very hard through the hot weather and occasional downpour. They were very friendly, professional and a joy to have around. Everything was done to a very high standard with the cables routed in a way to best conceal them for the nicest possible finish. Plus the left the entire place cleaner than they found it. Would definitely recommend.

We have just had a 22 Solar panel installation including batteries etc., installed. We contacted Tarven after months of frustration with the Mayor of London's solar scheme. Tarven came out, did a site survey and presented a proposal within a few days. When we received and agreed to contracts, the installation was planned for mid-March. Due to a cancellation, our solar EV system was installed nearly a month earlier. In addition, when the crew showed up to install, they noted that 2 additional panels could be installed. So we agreed, and everything was complete within a couple of days, 4 weeks ahead of schedule. The system has performed amazingly well, far exceeding expectations. Far exceeding expectations is the level of service from Tarven.

We have just had 14 panels with hybrid invertor and battery installed. Have to say Jake and his team are very professional. Right from the very beginning, from site survey to install all my calls, questions and requirements were addressed promptly. The install was completed in three days and team working right through pouring rain. I would recommend them anytime and will also be using them install solar panels at work.

I very rarely write reviews but having searched around for a solar install, especially with energy prices increasing, it was a struggle to make sense of what was out there plus find a reputable installer was a challenge. A family member then got a flyer from Tarven and I asked for a quote to go with the others I'd received from Octopus and a larger company.

Not only was Tarven of higher quality but they also visited the property to evaluate any challenges that the install would face, explained what the best options would be in clear English without jargon and also understand what my use cases were. The proposal was top notch and also Jake had to put up with several challenging streams of emails, from me, asking all kinds of questions. He handled it in his stride and continued to give easy to understand answers, even late at night!

Eventually we set a date for 8 Synsynk panels, higher capacity inverter and 2x Synsynk batteries and was seriously impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the crew. So much so that I've referred colleagues of mine to speak to Tarven about their installs, one of which is going ahead.

If you're looking for Solar, EV chargers, electrical work, shy away from the 'bigger' boys who only want your money - talk/email Tarven. They're the real deal and will take care of you through every step and the best system you can get. Thanks for everything, Jake and team!!!

Tarven have just completed the installation of the following works - 6 x Suntech solar panels - 1 x Sunsynk 5.5kw hybrid inverter - 1 x Sunsynk ESS 5.1kwh battery - 2 x Sunsynk 5.2kwh additional batteries - Zappi EV charger with solar compatibility. Works were carried out very professionally and the team were very friendly and helpful. The system is working as specified and agreed on our initial meeting and I cannot fault their work. Jake and his team specified and installed an 8kwp PV system and 10Kwh battery. All done in two days, were super efficient and aligned to the budget. After install care has been on point when there were a couple of minor issues which were resolved promptly. Would thoroughly recommend.
