So impressed with Powergy. Harry has been fantastic - signed with Octopus for 13 panels plus Tesla PowerWall3. I thought I would 'shop around', and on the off chance asked Powergy to quote (don't be put off by their website!). They were able to beat the Octopus quote, and that's with an additional 5 panels too. Amazed! In the end, I also purchased an expansion pack. On the day, the electrician and roofer arrived at 8am, and left at 8.30pm. They worked like machines all day, and did the most amazing cable route runs (through soffits, behind brickwork between Gateway and meter box). They also split the front array into 2 strings due to shading concerns I had. The cables in the loft were tacked in neatly. I really (and I genuinely mean this) cannot recommend them enough. I even asked Harry if I could buy anything else from him!

I don't leave many reviews but from the very first request I made for a quote to the installation they have been excellent.
Joe was great at tailoring a quote to my circumstances. Every bit of research I've done suggests my finished set up is perfect for my needs, suggesting nothing was over or undersold but they actually quoted for the most appropriate set up.

Contact throughout has been great and the installation happened on time and was completed in day. Luke and Brandon did a great job and I'm extremely happy with the finish.

The handover has also been great, with Luke demonstrating the equipment and App. I've then received two after care calls and all the documents needed to apply for an export tariff from Kiele, within 24 hours of the installation.

Couldn't be happier or recommend these guys more.

From initial enquiry to sign off and commissioning the whole process was very straightforward and professional, Louise was very prompt with a number of quotes and options and kept in contact at every stage. The install was started and completed as promised.
Mike and Robbie installed the 28 panels, Tesla gateway and power wall3 to current regs (I am electrically qualified) the install was very neat , they also left the area spotless on completion. I did some research on this company as they were like for like the best price , although a relatively young company everyone i dealt with was very knowledgeable and had Solar and battery experience, Kiele ensured that all the appropriate documention was sent over after handover for octopus tariff requirements, based on my dealings with Powergy and the standard of install I would not hesitate to recommend them.
We have been off grid since 10 March install that includes regular charging of our plug in hybrid car, just switched the hot tub back on!

I spent several weeks searching online for the a new full solar install. Looking for the best price, kit, support, communication etc.

After 3 visits with other companies Powergy came in online with all of the above without a visit. I’d obviously works things out by then, plus speaking with Harry was reassuring.

The nearest price I was getting was over £1k to £2k more from several other companies

In the end went with 12 panels, Sigenergy Battery, Inverter & Gateway.

Installed last Friday with a couple of minor time issues, other than that all good.

More importantly having charged my battery on my low tariff Sat morning, I now have too much energy as exporting to the grid hasn’t been set up yet. This will change with the ability to export, so running the whole home on low cost & free solar generated power.

The kit looks great, really pleased, with all the steps from considering Powergy, choosing them getting it planned in then fitted.

So we began our solar journey after moving house recently and needed to reduce our electricity bills while increasing our usage as we wished to turn off our oil boiler for hot water and switch to using an electric immersion heater.

Obtaining prices from other solar suppliers nationally and locally we were surprised by just how much the prices varied and how expensive most the quotes were. We knew roughly what system we wanted (Sigenergy) so it’s not that hard to see what the hardware costs are and work out if prices are over inflated etc. In a last ditch attempt to get a sensible price I noticed a post online mentioning Powergy and thought no harm in getting a quote.
Louise dealt with our enquiry, she was well informed and knowledgable, but had a zero pressure approach. She was happy to spend as much time as we needed over multiple calls/emails looking at options and equipment until we were happy. Even once quoted there was no pressure to proceed until we were ready. As an added bonus they were also very competitive on price!

Powergy applied for the G99 to the DNO and got a response impressively quick. This allowed us to move forward and arrange scaffolding and install dates that suited us. I should mention that apart from signing the agreement/contract there was little to do our end and zero to pay upfront, with all payments due once the install is completed and working satisfactory.

Our scaffolding was erected the day before the install which kept our drive in use as long as possible. On install day the installers (Mike and Robbie) and all the equipment arrived when stated and they completed a full walk around with me to check I was happy with the location for each item to be installed and the cable runs. They then went to work and worked flat out throughout the two days, getting the solar panels all installed, the stack built up, gateway installed and all the required cables. They also installed bird protection around the panels which is a must if you don’t want birds nesting underneath!

They ensured a really high standard of install, making sure everything was tidy and in appropriate cable conduits. They tidied up afterwards and left us with a fully functioning system comprising of 28 x 475w Aiko panels split over two roof angles which gives us sunrise to sunset coverage, a 12kw single phase Sigenergy Inverter stacked with 4 x Sigenergy 9kwh batteries (total of 36ish usable Kwh’s of storage plus any bidi EV capacity via the Dc Dc charger), 12.5kw EV DC bidirectional charger and a back up gateway. The backup gateway ensuring we have power in a power cut being in rural location and fed by overhead supply. Mike did a full handover of the equipment and ran us through using the Sig App which is easy to use and allows plenty of user set parameters.

Shortly after the install was complete I received an initial check in from Kiele to let me know they’d keep an eye on the system to make sure everything was running smoothly. Also a follow up from Louise to ensure we were happy with everything and book the scaffold to be removed, which was done quickly and without any issues. Payment was made post install and was done easily by card.

Within 7 days we received all of our paperwork including warranty documents, MCS certs, DNO approvals etc.

Since installation we have used no grid power, have moved onto electric immersion hot water and have even exported excess power. Brilliant result!

From start to finish Powergy have been fantastic! I really couldn’t have asked for anything more from their sales, customer service or install staff. Big thanks to Louise, Harry, Dan, Kiele, Mike and Robbie.

I wish I knew about them nine months ago when I started my solar journey with loads of disappointment aprior to others.

From start to finish, it was days apart from confirmation The turnaround was fairly quick (DNO dependent )

I dealt with Louise, and she was a star, 16 panels + 9 kWh Sigenergy battery/inverter plus referral codes and tariff recommendations can't beat their prices for such service and after service (which is post installation at anytime )

She was kind enough to give me a small discount ON TOP that goes a long way, and it's already accumulated as cash back due to the good weather.

overall, this service is perfect, a 11/10.

Three follow-up calls within 48 hrs after installation and payment upon completion!!!

Perfect work in my opinion, and I was given options to add another battery in the future for the bare minimal (labour).

My experience of Powergy was excellent from start to finish. They responded promptly to my initial enquiry and provided a range of quotes which matched my specific requirements. On price, Powergy were the most competitive and at no time did I feel I was being pressured to sign up with them. The advice provided was clear and helpful. Once I was happy to proceed, the install was quick and efficient, with the installation and associated scaffolding work all done within a week. The installation team were highly skilled and completed their work in a day. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and considerate. I would highly recommend Powergy.

We obtained around five quotes before contacting Powergy, where I spoke with Louise. She was extremely helpful from the outset and arranged a call to walk us through the various options available.
Louise was very knowledgeable and patient, especially as we had a lot of questions and wanted to fully understand the system. Based on our initial requirements, she provided three system options along with three panel configurations (10, 15, and 19 panels), each at different price points. The quotes were detailed and gave us plenty of time to properly review and compare the options.
She also explained that the panels and framework would be all black, and that bird netting would be installed neatly and discreetly, matching the overall finish. It was reassuring to see examples of previous installations that looked clean and high quality.
Solar prices have come down significantly over the past 10 years, so we were pleasantly surprised. Unlike some other companies we approached, we didn’t feel any pressure from Louise—there were no constant follow-up sales calls. Communication via WhatsApp was particularly convenient, allowing us to ask questions easily and receive photos of recent installs and the equipment being used.
After reviewing the survey, we realised we could maximise output by using three roof areas, so we requested a revised quote with additional panels. This also improved the projected payback period.
Another major factor in choosing Powergy was that no deposit was required. The 10-year workmanship warranty, alongside additional 10-year warranties and a 25-year panel warranty, gave us great confidence in our decision.
Less than four weeks later, we had an installation date confirmed. Scaffolding was erected the following week, and the next day two engineers, Mike and Robbie, arrived to complete the installation. They kept us informed throughout, worked extremely hard, and delivered everything exactly as promised.
The installation looks fantastic. The equipment was placed exactly where we wanted it, everything was left clean and tidy, and the overall finish is excellent—great job by the team.
The day after installation, we received the MCS certificate and DNO letter, allowing us to apply for the solar tariff with our energy supplier.
The initial survey estimated we would generate around 26 kWh during March 2026. However, within just the first week of operation, we generated over 38 kWh on a sunny day in March, well above expectations. We’re now looking forward to seeing performance through the summer months.
I’ve since recommended the entire process to a friend, who had the same team carry out their installation and is equally pleased.
Everything is working perfectly. We have a Tesla 13.5 kW battery, Tesla Gateway, and Aiko 475W panels, and we’re extremely happy with the system.

We recently had our solar panel system installed and it went live yesterday, so still early days but the whole experience with Powergy has been very positive.

We initially found them online while comparing multiple quotes. What stood out immediately was that Powergy offered a significantly better system at a much more reasonable price compared to others. In the end, we were able to get a Tesla system for less than what other companies were quoting for lower-spec alternatives which made the decision quite straightforward.

Louise was our main point of contact throughout and honestly made the process feel effortless. With zero upfront payment, she handled everything end-to-end; all the documentation, DNO approvals, scaffolding and installation bookings. That level of organisation and communication made a big difference.

After 5 quotes from solar companies I came across Powergy. Harry contacted me and was able to run through with me what I was after and listen to my thoughts/ideas and then tweak it to give me an initial quote over the phone with a follow up email with link showing everything in detail.

Harry came around for a final survey and to answer and questions I might have.
A date was set and Brandon & Luke arrived on time walked me through the plan, Luke worked with me to keep the cabling clean and out of eyesight as requested and I ended up with a very clean and professional job by both the guys.
No pushy payment till the job was completed and I was happy with everything.

From the friendly phone conversation to start with, along to the estimate I felt informed and not pushed.
The installation was how I wanted. What I wanted was listened to and advice was given on why I should or shouldn't do certain things and the reasons why.
Everyone was friendly, helpful and informative.
Instalation was tidy and wires hidden as much as possible and those that had to be seen were put in suitable trunking.

After contacting a number of Solar suppliers Powergy gave me the most confidence and weren’t pushy. The overall experience started well with Louise explaining the process and how everything would work.
