Customer service very poor

I do love my car so the review isn't about the Swift. I bought it new from Redditch Suzuki. One of the keys was not the correct key for the car. I've been trying for six months to get the replacement key covered under warranty. Now I find that no one replies
to my emails and when I ring no one answers the phone.

Unreliable and unhelpful

Unreliable and unhelpful. Would not recommend purchasing a Suzuki. I had a 4yr old Vitara 47k miles and the engine blew (split cylinder and engine melted). Suzuki quoted 9k to repair and goodwill team refused to contribute. Avoid

Decepción con Organización Suzuki

Adquirimos un Suzuki Vitara en MAVA Motors de Granollers (Barcelona) el 31/1/22. Es un vehículo “de Gerencia”, matriculado el 31/5/21, con unos 4300 Km. Efectuamos las revisiones anuales correspondientes y salen OK. En un viaje el 24/8/23 se nos estropea el aire acondicionado. Como necesitamos un vehículo de sustitución quedamos en hacer la reparación el día 30/10/23, y ahí surge la sorpresa: ¡la reparación no entrará en garantía porque la causa es un fuerte golpe frontal que ha desplazado el radiador!, y eso ha averiado el sistema de refrigeración. Afirman que este golpe se ha reparado mal y no se ha hecho en un taller oficial. Por tanto, nos hacen responsables de dicho golpe y de la mala gestión del mismo.

No tuvimos ningún choque. Tengo un certificado de seguros MAPFRE, que muestra que no hemos pasado ningún parte. Teniendo seguro a todo riesgo, ¿por qué sentido no presentar parte y llevarlo a reparar en un taller no reconocido? El golpe tuvo que suceder necesariamente entre la matriculación y nuestra compra del vehículo.
MAVA Motor argumenta que en ese caso la avería tenía que haber aparecido antes. Pues podrá ser raro, pero ha sido así. Se producen varias gestiones que no fructifican y finalmente tenemos que pagar la reparación.

Incluso llegamos a escribir una carta directamente al Sr. López Frade, Presidente de Suzuki Ibérica, que no nos responde. Lo hace en su lugar alguien del Departamento de Atención al Cliente que firma... pero no indica su nombre (eso ya no cubre ni los mínimos de educación básica, ¿no?). En la carta dice lo mismo, que ha pasado tanto tiempo que la avería no puede corresponder al período previo a la compra. En fin, se lavan las manos.

En conclusión, un verdadero póker de ases:
1- Engaño: No se nos informa al comprar de que el vehículo había estado accidentado y mal reparado.
2- Culpabilización: Se nos acusa de haber tenido nosotros el golpe. Se nos viene a decir que mentimos y no reconocemos que el golpe era cosa nuestra.
3- Falta de respeto: Se nos hace perder tiempo y nervios en muchas gestiones frustrantes, que ahora no vale la pena especificar.
4- Injusticia: Hemos tenido que pagar una avería que no nos correspondía (que al final es casi lo de menos comparado con todo lo anterior).

¿Se os ocurre alguna manera mejor de ofender a un cliente?

El vehículo no está mal, pero será nuestro primer y último Suzuki. Quien compre esta marca debe conocer esta experiencia y saber que no recibirá una respuesta de Suzuki como la que te imaginas en una empresa japonesa.

Just dreadful

Just dreadful.

Business model is to offer a low rate then before insurance is actually even offered find technical reasons to increase the premium dramatically (along with admin fees) then try to charge a cancellation fee if you don't accept it (even with the normal 14 days cooking off and/or before cover is started).

Really sharp practice - be really wary about the cancellation policy and the fact the price is likely to be increased even after cover is paid for.

Went half across the country today to pick a new car up at Ron Brooks Suzuki in Mansfield i had lots of questions of which i didn't ask any as BRENT the staff member who dealt with me was so knowledgeable and friendly he told me all the answers without me asking them he was so thorough absolutely brilliant thank you Brent and the car was a great drive home would absolutely recommend 😉👌

Car issue

Yesterday, 11/11/2023 I found on Autotrader an orange MG ZS Excite (SH71GVL) that my wife and I liked so I called the seller, Medway Suzuki and traveled to their location to see the car.

When we got there Daniel greeted us and showed us the car, which looked great. I asked Daniel if the car was involved in an accident and he said that it wasn’t.

Daniel said we can go ahead for a test drive so a couple of minutes later I was behind the wheel and driving it.
Also on the passenger B-Pillar the airbag sign was scratched like someone tried to open it, this I pointed out to the car salesperson and he said it seems someone tried to get into the side airbag.

We left home to have a think on what would be the best payment plan for the car. I decided to do some private research regarding the car history so I went on CarCheck.co.uk from where I downloaded a report just to find out that the car we were in a couple of hours earlier has a damage history: “This vehicle has been at a salvage auction.”, “Salvage location: WHITBURN” , “Description: Damage to this vehicle is front end and undercarriage.”
There are some photos attached to the report showing the steering wheel airbag and the dashboard airbag that went off.

Sadly we were very close to purchase a car which has a damage history. If I knew that, we would have not gone for the test drive or even bother to travel there.

My nightmare with Suzuki…

When I thought my nightmare with Suzuki Financial Services was over, I am now receiving penalty notices from the DVLA for road tax for a vehicle I have not had for a year and received a final settlement in June 2023. They insisted I sent them the complete V5 before they released the payment. An absolute shower and I would suggest stay well clear. They are dishonest.

Very helpful staff at the Romford…

Very helpful staff at the Romford branch, especially Fraser Inns and the chap who dealt with the finance, Paul?

Had a couple of issues and through discussion resolved the problem, which we found out were nothing to do with the car, but the cable linking our mobiles to the infotainment screen. Fraser was very patient and helped us to fix the problem.

Thank you, and love the car!!!😀😀

I purchased a Suzuki S-Presso 2023…

I purchased a Suzuki S-Presso 2023 model as a first time buyer, however was not aware that there ia a service plan and warranty but no maintenance plan, therefore when the care goes for service I have to pay on my own and now I am looking for a maintenance plan which puts me in more expense. Suzuki is not a great deal.

Steer well clear of these people

Steer well clear of these people. Horrible, horrible individuals that work here. My mother-in-law bought a car here 9 months ago, and it has turned out to be the worst decision of her life.

Firstly, the car (which is only 3/4 years old) developed an electrical fault after 4 months which Suzuki said they couldn't fix. Rather than supply her with a courtesy car, she had to hire a car for 3 months at a cost of £800 p/m. 3 months. They (Suzuki) had to acquire a part from Italy (apparently) which was £1,800 and took 2 months to receive. Once received, it didn't work. Subsequently, another part was required to fix the car. This part had to be fixed in Keswick, thus transferring the broken car from Kendal to Keswick. Overall, the process took 3 months, cost nearly £3,000 in rental fees, and nearly £4,000 to fix the car.

During this time, the hapless and ignorant staff refused to be drawn on the car's whereabouts and condition, and refused to engage in any meaningful dialogue regarding the situation.

Please, please be aware of these people and this institution - they are some of the most despicable and cunning individuals you will ever have the displeasure of coming across. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Don't buy Suzuki car from RonBrooks…

Don't buy Suzuki car from RonBrooks Mansfield Nottingham. Untrusted Service terms in the contract of warranty.

Warranty Contract: 1SAUCA26003262434 which is apparently mentioned the Benefit include once "MOT service" when the MOT expired. So I have asked the salesman how could use this service because I living far from Mansfield Nottinghamshire as I living in South East London. They told I could claim the fund after the MOT done by a VAT registered garage nearby my living place. I trusted and bought the car at last July 2022 but finally disappointed last week.

I done the MOT at another Suzuki approved garage "WLMG" last week and passed the MOT. When I contact Mansfield Service team for the MOT fee claim. They refused to fulfill the pledge in the contract term to proceed my claim, I have emailed them many times for 3 weeks but they told me to dealt with the garage WLMG myself.

Suzuki Insurance

Slogged through the form, which didn't produce a quote, so called them. One of the questions was about modifications with a drop down, so I dutifully ticked the 2 modifications listed (slightly larger wheels and improved, stronger suspension.) They called me back to say that the underwriters declined to cover me because of the modifications.....which makes the car SAFER! So if you're considering Suzuki insurance, I wouldn't bother. Your loss Suzuki insurance.

la garanzia esiste ma non viene applicata

Gentile Suzuki, a causa di un incidente, l'anno scorso ho portato la mia auto all'officina della concessionaria Suzuki di Buccinasco, certa della professionalità e dell'onesta garantita dalla marca. a meno di un anno dalla consegna risalente a settembre 2022, mi sono accorta di una piccola imprecisione (svista) nel ripristino, peraltro lautamente saldato (1221€ solo di manodopera). sembra che si siano dimenticati di fissare alla traversa sostituita il sodino della temperatura esterna, causando notevoli problemi al funzionamento dell'impianto automatico di condizionamento. ho fatto presente al proprietario del punto vendita, nonchè gestore dell'officina, la problematica è mi è stato risposto (per iscritto su whatsapp) testuali parole: "credo che se imposti manuale funziona". trovo la risposta indecente per una marca di auto che millanta professionalità e precisione come la vostra. se ci fosse la possibilità di allegare i documenti vi riporterei il tutto. annoto anche ciò che prevede il codice del consumo presente in Gazzetta Ufficiale: "Se il proprietario dell'auto è una persona fisica si applica il Codice del Consumo, che prescrive la garanzia legale di conformità in base alla quale l'officina è tenuta alla garanzia di 24 mesi sulla riparazione, anche se vengono impiegati ricambi usati o rigenerati." pertanto in osservanza di tale codice, l'officina dovrebbe essere tenuta sistemarmi il difetto, che per una svista è stato creato.

Terrible customer service and lies all around

On the 18th September my car suffered a coil spring snap due to rust and corrosion on the spring. The car is a 67 plate and had only done 16,000 miles at the time. Should this part be breaking already? Is this a known fault?

On the 21st the car was towed to Suzuki and they looked at it. Two dealers and a mechanic admitted it shouldn't be breaking now but couldn't explain why it happened. I know the car is out of warranty but under good will surly if the part is broken or damaged it could be traced back to buying the car used last year.

On speaking to the warranty team they said cause it's not been serviced with Suzuki directly we won't help. (It had been serviced and booked stamped but they ignored that).

I spoke with Suzuki GB who basically said no we won't help the lady on the phone (One of the advisors) was rude and unhelpful. They then lectured me on goodwill and warranty (Not a great feeling to be told stuff I know)

Overall if you buy a Suzuki and it does brake don't expect Suzuki to help you. They will palm you off until the warranty clock runs out.

Last August I ordered a Vitara sz5 all…

Last August I ordered a Vitara sz5 all grip. On enquiring recently (April 2023) when can I expect delivery of the vehicle. I was told by Suzuki uk that they had no idea when the car would be ready for delivery.
In fact I was told in no uncertain terms that if I had any questions to contact the dealer, not Suzuki uk.
If you want reasonable customer service don’t go to Suzuki uk !
