Starel Stones' slab warehouse is a…
Starel Stones' slab warehouse is a marvel. Make an appointment before you arrive with Patricia and you will have a dedicated member of staff talk you through the many different ranges and options. They can also bring slabs out from the back to show you so you can even see the ones that are hidden. It's like being in a grown-up sweet shop with so much choice. I ended up buying a slab that wasn't shown on the website so it's definitely worth going to look in person. I can not wait to see it in situ in my renovated kitchen. Bravo Starel!

If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. Do not use this company and be extremely wary when ordering from the website. I wanted just over 2m2 of tiles which their website told me required 5 boxes. I double checked this with my tiler before placing the order. The tiler completed the job using just two boxes. When I went on the website again the figurs had changed and 5 boxes was way too much. I have three boxes left over now worth hundereds of pounds but star el stones do not reply promptly to emails, are incredibly unhelpful over the phone and have said they dont accept partial returns. No manager ever available to speak and it takes a week to get a response by email. most of their options on the telephone just cut you off. I am claiming the money back via my credit card. If you are looking for tiles I would advise you shop elsewhere
Further to your response below. This is clearly written for the benefit of potential customers reading your reviews and does not reflect the way you speak to people once you have taken their money. Also, please point out where it says you dont accept partial returns on your website....believe me I checked and it doesnt! I'm still £230 down and you dont reply to emails...but have the time to write responses when you get a bad review. This tells everyone all they need to know about how you do business.

All product sizing and relevant details are provided on our website, and we always recommend having your tiler check the required quantities before placing an order to ensure the correct amount is purchased. The box coverage per square metre has not been changed and remains accurate.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service.
Do not respond to emails, when they do eventually often there are errors. Very inflexible in sending invoice and facilitating payment by AMEX- advising I would need to make order via their website to do this despite their website not allowing me to place the order for the quanity of the tile I was ordering. No communication to confirm order once payment made, no communication re expected lead time or when to expect delivery and no response to emails asking re this. Their products look beautiful but all round incredibly disappointed but the poor communication. Lots of automated emails directing me to website FAQs rather than responding to my questions.

Regarding payment, invoices can currently only be paid by bank transfer. AMEX payments are available through our website, which is why you were advised to place the order online. We appreciate, however, that the quantity you required could not be ordered through the website and was therefore processed via invoice as a gesture of goodwill. We regret that we were unable to provide a more convenient payment option in this instance.
