Post sale customer service.
The service during purchasing and fitting the stairlift was very good. However after a few months the stairlift was longer required, and as the house is now up for sale, we required it's removal.
This was a complete 360 degree in customer service. The £730 offered is a fraction of the over £6000 paid for it and you have to jump through hoops to even get it removed, with a 4 to 6 weeks delay, after agreeing to their offer, which seems to in its self is drawn out by them.
Consider this poor customer service, post sale, if you need to put your house on the market after the stairlift is no longer required.

We’re sorry to learn of your disappointment with our buyback process. As stairlifts are made to measure and installed specifically for each staircase, buyback values are typically much lower than the original purchase price. We appreciate that the removal timescale can be frustrating, especially when preparing a property for sale, and we’re sorry this affected your experience.

Excellent and efficient service
The engineer arrived ahead of time, was extremely pleasant. He carried out the service with the minimum of fuss, and on completion explained that everything was ok, but that we may need a new battery next year.

Mums New stailift
The attention given in our initial consultation all the way to installation was brilliant. This is a big thing for our Mum and the whole process was very easy and painless, which for an elderly purchaser is very important.

Always on time with their six monthly service to my stairlift. Any emergency issues and the engineers attend ASAP. Office staff and engineers always helpful and cheerful. Would recommend Stannah to anybody.

Bit bulky
Good system but fills the stair width when parked with seat and arms down which improves when folded. High visual impact but we are getting used it after first week. Pity our longe door is at the foot of our stairs but Stannah has a retracting folding track88, better than most.

Failure over a weekend
. Proper fitter unavailable.replacement did not diognise fault
correctly but nertheless got things going and left final diagnosis to ocrrect fitter ,who had to be called again next day by customer.

This was the first service after purchase. The chair has already made a huge difference to my everyday life so I don't want to lose its use. The service was done very quickly and thoroughly, some moving parts were tightened up, all now v smooth! Will make sure next service is booked.
