Contacted Handicare about a stair lift for my aging mother. Home survey date arranged in good time to suit us. Home survey and quote done by a professional but friendly, knowledgeable experienced individual. Impressed by their ability to be flexible on changing installation date to suit us. Very good customer services who handled everything well. Equipment delivered bang on time and installation started within a hour or so of delivery of equipment and completed within stated timeframe. and use explained in full. Seamless operation offering me and my family 100% confidence. 100% recommended form our experience.

The stairlift I had installed is very easy to use. The controls are simple and need minimum effort which is a bonus for me because I have painful, arthritic hands.
The engineer that came to do the installation was polite and friendly and wasted no time in fitting the stairlift. On completion he made sure I understood how to work all the controls safely. Another plus was that after the installation work was done everything was left clean and tidy and no work needed to be done by me. Good work Handicare!

I depend so much on my stairlift and did not want to call the telephone on the lift as it said for emergencies only. I know there are people a lot worse than myself so I requested a visit via their website. I am so delighted that i did the gentleman who arrived a few hours later was very courteous, helpful and patient. I would definitely recommend.

We had our old bathroom changed to a wet room, designed to address the question of safety and easy access. The company Handicare, were very open and objective in sharing their assessment with us, allowing us to make a reasonable and practical choice. The team involved in giving advice and implementing the changes enabled us to draw on their professional experience in order to make sound choices, the results of which has enhanced our bathing experience!.

I had a very good experience with Handicare Stairlifts. I needed one urgently as my husband needed to be discharged from hospital. I had a visit on Friday and was told the cost & I went ahead with ordering the stairlift the following Monday. It was installed & working on the Saturday. Excellent work in a short space of time!

The company's attention to detail both before, during and after the work was impressive. The cost was not too great but we got what we paid for. This was a one time purchase, so we feel we made the right decision with using Handicare.

Handicare take such care to ensure your stairlift is suitable for you and the staff are so professional. Each step of the way we were informed of who would be calling for security, even the young delivery gent who unpacked all the lift parts and took all cardboard waste away. Julian was our engineer & he was fantastic, ensuring we knew how the lift worked & who to call if we have a problem. He even remembered fitting my cousins stairlift when she called round on installation day. We had several quotes before hand but chose Handicare/Age uk as they were by far the best, in information, knowledge of goods & price.

Got our bath replaced with a walk-in shower. The entire experience from start to finish was excellent. Salesperson wasn’t pushy at all. The back office staff were always polite and delivered everything as agreed. The installation team were excellent, polite and very clean. The finished shower was perfect.
I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Everything went very well, including the installation. However, within 10 days the stairlift started beeping. When I called the service line, they were able to help me identify that there was an issue with the battery and said that a service engineer would visit within 24 hours. That sounded great. But then, I was warned that I might be charged for the service call and the cost of replacing the battery, depending upon what the service engineer found. The very idea that I would have to pay for any problem with the stairlift so soon after installation seems outrageous.

The people explained every thing about the product and the fitter was very helpful and knowledgeable about the chairlift and very tidy.He was very efficient and cleared all the rubbish up and took it away.I can’t say enough about them and would recommend them to all my relatives and friends without hesitation.

Handicare stairlifts were brilliant from start to finish. Phil who came round to measure up was attentive, thorough and polite in explaining everything.
Our fitter Josh was equally as polite and very patient with showing us how everything worked.( fitted within 3 days of order)
Very pleased with stairlift, it has made a big difference and made life at home easier.

Looking to have a stairlift installed, I decided to approach Handicare Stairlifts as basically they are a not for profit organisation. All profits are donated to Age UK. Their representative came along and did some measuring etc and advised me on which product would suit me best. Once i had decided what I wanted a technician came and took further measurements and showed me 3 D videos of what the insallation woud liik like. Within 2 week qnother technician installed the stairloift to my satisfaction. During the whole process i was kept in the loop of what was happening. I am a happy bunny.

It was very easy from the start phoned Handicare stairlift chatted to man told him what need he told me the price they came out and measured up Then with in the week it was fit to the stairs with great team men made old lady very Happy thank you very much

The entire experience of getting a 4000 type stair lift installed for my mum was pretty straight forward and dealt with by efficient, professional, polite and helpful Handicare staff.

There was a minor problem during the installation when a safety component on the motor was found to be faulty hence the motor required replacement and the installation ground to a halt. I mention this because unexpected problems do occur and what’s important is how they’re dealt with. I cannot fault Handicare because they were in touch with me within the hour of reported fault and arranged a replacement part and agreeable installation date for a few days later.

The remainder of the stair lift installation 3 days later went smoothly. A special mention should go to Julian, the engineer who finished the installation work, fitting the chair and electrics and demonstrating its use. Julian performed fantastically, professionally and diligently, telling us what he was doing and reasoning behind the work. Additionally, he found a better solution for placement of the charging power source, locating it in an unused bedroom where it’s safer from being disturbed.

So, my installation experience has been very good and my elderly mother is thrilled with her new stair lift.
