Absolute Katastrophe.
Der erste Release lief noch relativ problemlos. Der zweite Release wurde wochenlang nicht an die Downloadshops gesandt. Nachdem er dann doch mal bei Beatport erschienen ist, wurde er nach zwei Wochen ohne Angabe von Gründen wieder entfernt.

Wir haben auch zwei Testkäufe bei Beatport gemacht in dieser Zeit, diese wurden bis heute nicht gutgeschrieben.

Letztlich wurde nun auch die Support-Email abgestellt, Hilfe ist nur noch über ein FAQ-Portal zu erhalten, das allerdings komplett leer ist.

Absolut unzumutbar.

Meinen ersten Release habe ich extra drei Wo im Voraus gewählt - wie empfohlen. Trotzdem gab es den Promo-Link erst sechs Tage später! Das geht gar nicht. Kundenservice nahezu nicht vorhanden. Jetzt, nach 8 Tagen, kam eine erste Reaktion per Email.
Ich fürchte, dass bei Spinnup etwas gewaltig schief läuft, denn im Moment ist sogar die Seite von Spinnup off! Ich werde wechseln!

I was excited to use this service after all the back on forth on the cover photo I thought it must be good but
1) they haven’t sent the track to everywhere they said they would. For example it’s not on Beatport but their site says if you say your track is dance or electronic then it’ll go there.
2) they don’t provide a list of where they sent it to - only 4 stores are showing which is really poor for a distribution service.
3) It was my first release and Spotify can’t find the release to set up my Spotify for artists account. I can’t claim a profile if they haven’t set one up for me. The sign up process said they would do that for me.
4) it was on YouTube for a day and now it’s disappeared!!
5) you can’t actually get in touch with them because THEY DON’T PROVIDE CONTACT DETAILS!! I found an old email to try and get in touch and I got an automated response saying they don’t answer this email box look at our website for help (where you will find absolutely no help!)
So basically my experience of using Spinnup has been terrible. DO NOT USE!!!

I planned my release on Friday, however they released it on Saturday, they messed up my release. Also there is ZERO support, it's not possible to get any answer from them.

Ich möchte meinen allerersten Release raushauen, wurde überprüft, hat geklappt, soweit so gut.
Ab jetzt wird’s echt bescheiden.
Abgesehen davon, dass der Kundenservice absoluter Schrott ist und man Tage auf ihn warten muss, schaffen die es nicht mal kurz vor release eine URI für mein Spotify4Artist Profil zu schicken, damit ich es wenigstens mal auf Vordermann bringen kann. Ich warte SEIT ÜBER 3 WOCHEN auf diesen beschissenen Link!!!!
Ich bin wirklich sauer und enttäuscht und werde den Anbieter, sobald es geht, wechseln. Traurig, dass so eine große Firma es NICHT auf die Kette kriegt, einfach mal nen Link zu schicken und sich um seine Kunden zu kümmern.

Terrible, just terrible... they changed my release date out of nowhere and created so much hassle for me. They also provide a very limited service compared to other distributors. On top of this, it’s ridiculously expensive. By far the worst distributor on the market

I do not get these comments. Spinnup are doing more for indie artists Free then any other distribution.
They sign acts to UMG, run competitions free, put IG posts out about artists they like, add you to playlists, and are genuinely trying to give Indie acts a chance.

Also if Corona virus was not here, they run a festival tent and once again offer indie acts a chance to play in it.

Just because they reply late to messages means that they have 1000s of emails to read through, come on guys and girls these comments are ridiculous about a company that is trying to help people have a serious career in music.

No distribution is going to get it right all the time, its human nature.

Komplett unzumutbar.

Wegen jedem Mist wird dein Release zurückgeschickt und du musst irgendwas neu machen. Viele Dinge die man abändern soll werden nicht einmal erklärt. Da heißt es nur mach mal so und so sonst Arschlecken mit deinem Release.

Der Support ist eine einzige Katastrophe. Auf Antworten musst du ewig warten (auch Werktags) und die Aussagen der Mitarbeiter sind nichts wert. Wie mans macht macht mans Falsch, hat meine Oma immer gesagt, und hier ist es falsch wenn du es genau so machst wie mans dir sagt. Einfach lächerlich.

Dazu kommt noch dass viele Felder zum Ausfüllen fehlen!!
Nur ein essenzielles Beispiel: Produzenten zu markieren ist heutzutage eigentlich selbstverständlich... spinnup denkt sich das nicht. Erst auf mehrfache Anfrage wird einem gesagt wie man das macht, komplett umständlich.

Die Basics haben Sie, keine Frage. Aber um meiner Nerven willen und in gedenken an meinen Schreibtisch würde ich nicht mal mehr ein GIF über diese Deppen hochladen.

The worst experience with a distributor.
I tried with Spinnup because they offree free single distribution due to the pandemic.
I uploaded my project one month in advance and they still hadn't sent it to all the stores.
Also, they made a mistake with the song's title...
Outrageous!!

I updated my new credit card details with Spinnup to avoid my subscription expiring in 6 months time, but Spinnup treated this as the start of a brand new subscription. When I tried to obtain a refund I was told it was my fault for not reading the small print and that there was nothing they were prepared to do about it. Not what you expect from a supposedly reputable company.

Terrible service, one of the worst customer support systems ive ever seen. I was told by them that if I sent my song off to stores way in advance I would receive my promo link before my song was released. It is now about a week after release and still no promo link or reply from customer support. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Stick with one of its competitors such as distokid as they actually take pride in they're work and in assisting they're paying customers unlike Spinnup.

Bei mir hat alles reibungslos geklappt. Hatte am Anfang ein paar Fragen und mein Mail wurde noch am selben Tag beantwortet. Release pünktlich erschienen und an alle Stores gesendet. Kann echt nichts schlechtes über Spinnup sagen...

Bereits vor dem Release gibt es Komplikationen mit dem Benutzer Konto und man bekommt keine Antworten! Finger WEG!

Please don't make the same mistake I have by choosing Spinnup.

My team and I worked very hard to get my music accepted on blogs and playlists.

We submitted extra early to make sure nothing could happen. About 3 weeks before the release we noticed the song was not appearing in the "upcoming releases" tab. We enquired for 3 WEEKS!!! And very minimal help, each response taking about 3 days- a week.

Fast forward to release day, the song is no where to be seen. THEY HAVE NOT DISTRUBTED IT.

Imagine the embarrassment and how unprofessional it looks to have to go to each blog and playlist and explain the situation.

You would have thought that enquiring 3 weeks prior would have made a difference Nope.

They have literally ruined months of preparation on my end, no body is helping and we are still waiting for a response.

I am going to take this as a lesson to never use Spinnup again. If you care about your music then trust me, don't use them. They don't care AT ALL.

Finger weg sucht euch einen seriösen Vertrieb aus.

Selbst ein sternes zu viel bei wirklich jedem Release Gibt es komplikationen. Manchmal stimmt der Titel nicht manchmal die Kategorie und manchmal werden die Songs erst gar nicht in die Stores geliefert. Beim Support bekommt man keine Hilfe die Monate später aussage wie liefern so aus wie es uns übermittelt wird da können wir leider nichts machen... Scheinbar tun sie das ja nicht nur probleme keine empfehlung

@Spinnup they block the account first with out an explanation then when you inquire they take 48 hours to reply world class customer service if you ask me. when you ask spinnup to take down your music so you can release your music else where they don't an till you get PRS for music involved. I used the same cover art spinnup decline on tuncore who released the project with the art work on spotify and apple. This company clearly needs some restructure your not here to police peoples streams your here to distribute music and that is it. Don't try and justify anything I'm not an angry customer just look at your reviews 90% are bad reviews except the few bogus reviews staff at spinnup type up to help the companies appearance.
