So so disappointed
So so disappointed, we sent a board for repair, they returned it to the wrong address then said it was lost. Because we did not realise initially they said we took too long to inform them and we never got our board back. My son has been devastated. I wrote a complaint and asked them to contact me to resolve but radio silence. I would not recommend. I am now having to go through the ombudsman which is a real shame as could have been resolved.
Thanks for the response below but when I spoke to your company they said that it appeared to have been sent to the incorrect address as they had a picture of the front door and it was not ours but said nothing could be done hence my review.
I have emailed a full chronology of events and would reallly appreciate a response.

Hi,
I have checked our system and it shows the item was dispatched to the same address on the booking on the 20rd Nov 2020.
There is no other information I can find as this info has been removed from the couriers system.

Did not turn up - have taken my money and not refunded it either.
They did not turn up to my house to collect my scooter. They said that a courier had been / would turn up / I stayed in, no-one did turn up.
I then asked for a refund and they said they would refund to my account and nothing has been received after requesting several time's and still nothing unfortunately (although they say that they have done this).
This has now been ongoing since my initial output of money online to Smart Boards UK
(following a further email today to Smart Boards UK and a few minutes after writing this review the money is being refunded). Thank you. Much appreciated. Upped to two stars from one.

I'm sorry for your experience.
We book couriers to collect items but unfortunately time to time they do not always turn up as planned.
This is totally out of our control as we do not run the courier company.
Your refund was processed as said but can take up to 7 days to go back into your account which is why there was a delay.

Excellent spare part service
Used smartboards twice now to buy replacement chassis for inferior boards bought elsewhere, the replacement parts are much better made with improved gusseting etc, should last a lot longer.
Delivery and price are both good as well, wish i had bought the hoverboards here originally.

Good guys
Must confess I was a bit dubious about paying nearly £40 and sending my daughters scooter off to a company I knew nothing about but have to say they were superb , phoned me within a day of sending it to tell me what needed doing to fix it , gave me a price and fixed it and sent it back no issue whatsoever. Would definitely recommend these guys 👍

Very disappointing service
Very disappointing service. Hoverboard arrived without the charger. The cart attachment did not arrive so I also had to contact them about that.
I have left 6 messages over 5 days but received no call back. This was a birthday present so I have a very upset 9 year old.
I hope they will rectify this!

I have been delighted with the service from Smartboards UK. Initially I was disappointed that our reconditioned board wasn’t the Grade A standard tgat I had ordered but this issue was resolved to my satisfaction,

You have not been ripped off at all. We've been very honest and transparent.
You brought your item back to us swimming in water after having us recently repair it and fitting a new battery.
We've even emailed you lots of pictures of the inside of the electronics compartment and quite frankly it looks like its been in the canal..!
Unfortunately, if you want this item working, yes you would have to pay (again). Im sorry if you thought water damage was covered under warranty, but either way we are happy to help you fix it and get you back on your way.
