Never thought I’d have to leave a review of such a bad experience…

Admittedly, I never really used the product I didn’t like the design and it wasn’t really for me. Been seeing a lot of advertisements on these sorts of wallets but it’s ultimately they’re no more practical than a standard card holder (if anything more difficult to use).

Again to emphasise what a lot of reviews are saying about the return process as an established business quite frankly it’s embarrassing - no customer service system just email and you will receive emails like ‘we’re happy to give you a 50% refund and keep the product because this business supports my family” - yes mate like every other business owner? - and yes you would be happy, because it probably cost £1 to make from China which to mention took over 2 weeks to actually arrive.

Still in the return process had it sent back with tracked and signed and they have gone completely silent on emails after I sent it back - SCAM company owner should hang his head in shame.

Horrible quality, return process is a nightmare. Even if you go through with it they make it so difficult that almost in every case they won’t give a refund. Example they say if it ends up going to a drop off point ( due to them not accepting it) they won’t give a refund.

Don’t buy Temu is better quality for €2.00

Ich habe mir einen Geldbeutel, einen Schlüsselhalter und ein Set mit Ersatzschrauben und einem Münzfach bestellt.

Das teuerste daran, der Geldbeutel ist schon mal gar nicht angekommen. 45€ bezahlt und nicht erhalten.
Der Schlüsselhalter ist gekommen, aus China. Den bekommt man für 3€ bei Temu. In dem Ersatzschraubenset fehlt auch direkt mal das Münzfach.

Dem Kundenservice habe ich geschrieben aber nur automatisch generierte Antworten erhalten bei denen auch noch auf die Tränendrüse gedrückt wird: "Alleinerziehender Familienvater will seine Kinder ernähren".
Ich habe jetzt schon 4 Mails wegen Rückerstattung & Retoure geschrieben.
Da ist wohl nicht mehr viel zu machen.
Naja jetzt habe ich meine 80€ Lehrgeld bezahlt und kann nur sagen:
Lasst lieber die Finger davon!!!

Ordered a wallet think it represents very poor value for money even at "sale" prices so asked to return it. You have to pay postage to return things and get AI generated sob stories about "Joshua" being a single parent and they offered a 50% refund rather than returning on the 28th of May. Still not got a refund multiple excuses and now they are asking for bank details, unsurprisingly not prepared to give these so the stalemate continues

Service schlecht - Retoure bzw. Geld zurück noch möglich weil das System angäblich „down“ ist.

Eine Story damit man sein Geld nicht zurück vordert von wegen Single Dad ind Kinder unterstützen.

Good product. Good service.

Ordered over a month before it finally arrived. The delay was frustrating enough, but the real issue is the design. The cards are packed so tightly together that they’re constantly under pressure. Within a month of using it, two of my cards were physically damaged and needed replacing. For a product that’s supposed to protect your cards, it did the exact opposite. Would not recommend.

Wallet is good but scratches to easy I contacted them about the issue and the reply was to expect some minor scratches

Fantastic service from Joshua for dealing with my issue he sorted out a free replacement of the wallet so now I have amended my review and give shield a 5 star rating

I rarely leave 1-star reviews, but the Shield Wallet deserves it.
The price is absurdly high for what you get - it ships all the way from China, took nearly a month to arrive, and the “premium” feel is indistinguishable from the $5 Temu knock-offs.

When I reached out to customer support, they tried every trick in the book to convince me to keep the product despite my clear dissatisfaction.

I’ve initiated a return and can only hope that the tracked, insured shipping that I paid actually leads to me getting my money back.

Save your money and your time - this wallet is massively overpriced, slow to deliver, and backed by zero accountability.

Order the shield wallet on 1 May 2025. Did not receive until 23 May 2025. No updates on the order page, no tracking number. Nothing.

It was definitely not a smooth experience as their website states that the dispatch times is within one to two business days upon receipt of your order. Joshua from the support team has been helpful and quick to respond to your enquiries. Although he was not able to give the full picture, it is clear he is dedicated to help reassure that your order is a priority.

Patience is definitely being tested when ordering this product.

First of all buyers beware: The original Shield Wallet company was registered in UK and then dissolved a couple years later! Unfortunately I only looked this up after I realized I might be the target of their scam.
This company appears as "SP Shield" on my bank extract and operates out of China, so it is certainly not UK based.
After I ordered from them (and paid) I was promised a maximum of 9 days delivery time. After the delivery time expired, I tried to check on the goods, but the tracking info they provided did not work. I Contacted them to request an update, they sent me some weird tracking site that only showed "Office of exchange pre-alert/posting". After I looked them up and realized that the company is not the UK based company, I requested a refund. They replies that I should not be frustrated because the package is still in customs. I asked for a refund again, telling them that I researched their company and called them out on a scam but I received no more answers. So, after 13 days, my order is safely in customs - according to a weird Chinese tracking site - , the company is not responding anymore and I am starting a procedure with my bank to contest the payment.
As a side note, I found no way (as a paying customer) to leave a review comment on their site, so the positive comments you see there are all probably fake too...
My advice to you is not to go for a cheaper version of a wallet - like I did - and get scammed, instead choose one of the legitimate brands.

Edit to their reply: Are you kidding me? We exchanged 8 emails until you ignored me and my request for a refund. Stop pretending and process the refund!

No product was delivered. They initially replied to emails apologising and asking for more info, reconfirming address and phone number etc. But now no longer reply. The tracking info from the order confirmation email also doesn’t go anywhere. I thought this was a well established company and business and I was excited to order from them but it seems very strongly to me now that this is just a scam. I’ll be contacting my bank / credit card company to see if I can reverse the charge.

PS I have had many back and forth emails with info@shield-wallet email, and all they do is ask for more personal details and never confirmed the product was shipped. So I no longer believe they are legitimate, so the official reply that’s been received here below I think is just for them to try to seem real to anyone who sees this review.

After over 6 weeks of waiting, the product I ordered miraculously arrived. So I guess this is not technically a scam / illegitimate business after all. I’ve never had anything I’ve ordered online ever take over 3 weeks and most things are delivered much quicker than that, (and I’ve ordered a lot within this exact same time period) so this must be the worst fulfilment centre in all the world.

Waiting for a week now, no reply on my mails!

Update: The shield is on his way. There was a software problem i heard

Looking more and more like a scam. Order tracking not working. I have no issue with it coming from China but there clearly hide this fact.
Avoid at all cost.

Similar to other reviews where there’s no update on your order and when it will be delivered. Again the tracking function isn’t working…….now asked for a refund but I won’t hold out much hope there.
Avoid at all costs until they prove otherwise.
