My floor lamp which I've had for 14 years had started to flicker, despite a new bulb. I emailed the company, received a phone call within a couple of hours explaining their repair service and everything happened when I was told it would - collection and return once the lamp had been repaired, and a year's guarantee. Cannot fault either the service or the amazingly helpful and friendly staff.

Before I ordered a replacement bulb for my Alexa light, I needed to recall exactly when I purchased it - which I couldn’t remember and had mislaid the invoice. I messaged Serious Readers to ask if they could possibly trace the date for me. I received an immediate acknowledgement, then the next day had a satisfactory answer to my query and I was able to place an order for the correct bulb. So thank you, and full marks, to Customer Service - very impressive!

The Carrier ignored the instruction re. the safe delivery place and left the parcel on the doorstep in full view of the road having not rung the doorbell although I was in and awaiting the delivery.

I telephoned and asked advice regarding a small reading lamp which would fit in with my decor and my failing eyesight, due to old age. I think the gentleman that helped me was very knowledgeable and said that if I was not satisfied there would be a full refund on return of the Roam lamp I purchased. An excellent light. No problems at all for five years. A week after the end of the five year guarantee the light failed. One call to customer service department (staffed by real humans!) and they replaced the unit free of charge, including postage to my home in France. The lights are not cheap but high quality products and super service never is. Recommended!
