Replaced wall-mounted plug-in Essential reading lamp
Needed to replace a wall-mounted reading light. Happy with everything EXCEPT Serious Readers keep changing the drilled holes on various models required for mounting, so we have lots of holes either side of the new fitting that I need to fill in. The light itself it great.

Hi Michael. Things move on as technology changes. That said, we've only ever had 3 wall mounting designs in 40 years so I'm not sure we 'keep changing' the drilled holes. We've had around 25 iterations of our technology in the same period. I designed the newest of the brackets to look less industrial and to reduce the need for the third hole to be drilled, both as benefits for the customer. I hope you like the newer of the designs. DHL's tracking is hopeless. So when it said that the package should have been delivered hours ago, I contacted Customer Services and the lady there spent ages liaising with DHL - the parcel arrived the next day. The product itself (floor standing HD light) does exactly as expected. The sale discount was also very acceptable.

Good online service and great lamps
Good online service and great lamps, able to get replacement bulbs, also purchased another lamp as so happy with the first one I bought years ago.
Lamps perfect for jewellery work, sewing and paperwork, especially on darker winter days and evenings.

The colleague on the phone was friendly and helpful. He dealt with my order for replacement bulbs very efficiently which then arrived well wrapped and in good time. I love my Serious lights ( l have 5 around the house) so to be able to get replacement bulbs that quickly is great.
