Poor communication and laborious/expensive returns process
Ordered 5 Velux windows from this company. Our building requirements changed so I requested to return 2 windows (all unboxed and as delivered). Returns process difficult, laborious and expensive (£100 to return the 2 windows). I got a delivery notification from Velux , returns process seemed simple here . I regret not ordering direct as feel this would have been better value and more direct

We’re sorry to hear that you found the returns process difficult. As a supplier of Velux products, we always aim to provide a smooth and transparent experience from order through to delivery and, where necessary, returns.
Because these windows were specially ordered items, returns do involve collection and restocking charges set by the manufacturer, which is why a £100 collection fee applied for the two units. We understand that project requirements can change, and we do try to keep any associated costs as low as possible while following the manufacturer’s return policy.
We appreciate your comments and will review our returns communication to ensure costs and processes are as clear as possible at the point of purchase. If there’s anything further we can assist you with, please don’t hesitate to get in touch directly.

Unfortunately, after contacting several suppliers, on this rare occasion we were unable to source the specific insulated boards required. As a result, a full refund has now been issued back to your original payment method.

Will not buy from again.
Placed an order and payed for next day delivery on the Wednesday evening, expecting delivery for Friday with this confirmed on the tracking. A week later and still no delivery, no idea where it is and a poor customer service response. Requested the order be cancelled and refunded only to be given a delivery update instead. Granted it’s only a low value order but will not use this company again for any future work.

I have bought a roof lantern for…
I have bought a roof lantern for £445.50 on their online shop and they came back to me with a new price of £775 plus VAT,they have set the price and I paid it fully but apparently they wont accept any responcibilities for this. Still havent got my money back.

Unfortunately, the roof lantern you ordered was a product that was still in development and was mistakenly made visible on our website at an incorrect price. As soon as this was identified, we contacted you to explain the error and provided the correct pricing. To help resolve the situation fairly, we also applied an additional discount against the updated price.
We completely understand how disappointing this experience was, and we sincerely apologise for the confusion. The website issue has now been fixed to ensure this cannot happen again.

Returns process has taken over 3 months
We ordered the wrong size window and requested a return which cost £192. When they finally arrived to pick up the window, they gave us no notice so we weren't in. Luckily our builders let them in but they didn't pick everything up so had to come back again. On top of that, they still have not refunded us for the blind. The whole return process has taken over 3 months and a lot of chasing. I would not order from them again.

We’d like to clarify that the return was officially booked in with VELUX on 20th October. Once a return is registered, VELUX typically advise a 2–3 week timeframe for collection, followed by additional processing time on their side before refunds are released. Unfortunately, these stages are handled directly by the manufacturer and are outside of our direct control.
We also apologise for the inconvenience caused during the collection itself and that not all items were collected on the first visit.
Regarding the blind refund, we are currently investigating this with VELUX and will come back to you shortly with an update.
We appreciate your patience while this is being resolved and thank you for raising this with us.
