The rental went very smoothly. Pick up and drop off were stress-free and efficient. We appreciated being able to pick up and drop off at 2 different locations. Drop off at the airport is an easy 5-minute walk to Keflavik airport. Our rental was brand new and drove very nicely. Everything about the experience helped make our visit memorable.

We are absolutely thrilled with our experience with the Reykjavik Rent a Car and our spotlessly clean, brand new Suzuki Vitara! Pickup was really fast, and drop-off was easy and efficient. The rental agency has a convenient app with all the information you need for your trip. The car performed sensationally during our journey around Iceland, where we drove 4500 kilometers, including the demanding F-roads in the interior, and it even easily crossed a river! The Vitara handled every terrain without a problem, providing us with comfort and safety. Thanks to it, we could admire all the wonders of Iceland stress-free. We highly recommend it!

The conditions of the car weren't good.

Many things were wrong: (i) after less than 2 hours driving the engine temperature was rising high, need to stop and found that the coolant reservoir was way below the “LOW” level, needing to stop for an hour to have it cool down and walk to the nearest station to buy a coolant, this condition continued and needed to return the car. (ii) The metal screws inside the box roof were protruding and lacked any kind of protective covering, which resulted in significant damage to our luggage. Got an apology and a commitment of a ridiculous amount for reimbursement due to these problems.

We got a bit older car. But age shouln't be a problem. But the passengers door had a gap. That made so much noise that we couldn't listen to music. On top of that: when raining the water came into the car!

We really enjoyed the KIA RIO for our 2 weeks roadtrip around Iceland. Very nice team who answered all our questions and everything went smoothly, plus the pick up/drop off near the center of Reykjavik was perfect. I highly recommand.

The pick up and drop off where super easy and effective, everything worked out great, it was my 1st time renting a car, and I will rent again with the same company for sure!

It’s true that when renting a “used” car it might cause a little confusion when seeing the car has over 220.000 km. Although did the all round to the island and the car was fine and did not have any problems.

Easy pick up point in the Centre of Reykjavik, very helpful team, car in great condition.
