Alle is overzichtelijk ingepakt. De beschrijving is wel in erg kleine letters en helaas niet in het Nederlands. Een korte hand-out zou fijn zijn.
Zeker voor bij het bijgeleverde drankje.
Mijn lijf voelt rustiger. Zit nu weer voor het eerst aan de koffie. Binnenkort herhaal ik dit voor dieet voor een dag en heb de repen gekocht voor ontbijt of tussendoor. Heb dit dieet al aangeraden aan mijn schoonzus.

I have just completed the 5 day fast…
I have just completed the 5 day fast and can say that it was very easy to complete. I was not hungry at all. The ‘food’ was palatable (not exciting) which allows you to reflect on your normal eating habits and mentally address where you can improve your normal diet. I feel energised, my skin has significantly improved and I have lost 7lbs. I will definitely be completing the next two cycles.

I've received no fewer than 9 emails…
I've received no fewer than 9 emails about my package from UPS, and I still haven't been able to receive it. Initially, it was scheduled for delivery on Friday, May 4th, 2024, by the end of the day.
Unfortunately, the delivery attempt was made at the beginning of the day when no one was home. Then, I received an email stating that the access point (MH Phone, Liersesteenweg 101, Mechelen, 2800, Belgium) was closed, and the package couldn't be delivered there.
Three days later, I received another email saying that the package was available at the collection point. I went there in an attempt to pick it up on Wednesday, October 1st, 2024, during normal opening hours. However, to my dismay, I found myself standing in front of a locked door.
A second attempt was made on Saturday, April 13th, 2024, but once again, I found myself facing a closed door, even though the collection point was supposed to be open.
This marks my final attempt to collect the package, as I won't be making any further efforts to retrieve it.

Takes out of ketosis
I was in ketosis, and taking ProLon took me out of it! Which is not surprising considering daily carbohydrate intake is 66.8-75.9 grams.

You should consider that the FMD has been studied and tested with the aim of nourishing the body, while keeping it in a fasting-mimicking state over a 5-day period. So, it includes specific amount of carbohydrates and glycerin to provide the essential nutrients to support the body and preserve muscle mass, during these 5 days. It could be considered a low carbohydrates protocol, but it is different from a ketogenic diet. Generally, ketosis may occur after 48 hours; anyway, entering ketosis is extremely individual, as it also depends on the daily diet you have followed before starting. Then, regarding ketone levels, we would like to underline that the mechanism for FMD is centered around cellular rejuvenation given by the fasting-like stimulus. Ketone is only a short-term side effect, so you should not link ketone level with efficacy.

I never felt hungry...
I tried the 5 day program, version 3.
The best way to describe it was "enough". I am male, ~85 kg, and the meals were enjoyable, and I did not feel hungry during the five days. I felt it was easy to stick to the program.
I also used a Keto-Mojo to verify my progress over the 5 days, and was happy with the results. Today I was in "full nutritional ketosis" and felt good.
It was a very interesting learning experience.

I've been a big fan of prolon for…
I've been a big fan of prolon for years. (Of course, even now) It's really attractive that you can reset your body with delicious soup and snacks. And prolon's package is also gradually changing in a good direction. (Less plastic, less unnecessary packaging) But L-bar has changed too much. I was so happy with my fast because I could eat an L bar in the morning. It was truly a fantastic taste. But now, rather than the taste of rich honey, the sour taste of nuts? The same thing is so severe. And the texture also changed to resemble a dry protein bar. I bought Prolon 3 times a year, but Prolon with an L-bar like this... I'm a bit worried about my next purchase.

This was the third time for me, this diet was going pretty well.
Only one thing I really hated, the nut-based FMD bar. I tried several combinations, even mixing it with tea, but in the end my body couldn't eat it anymore. Something with texture and taste. The last two days I replaced it with a few nuts and a spoonful of organic honey (much better).
