Ordered two bras

Ordered two bras, transaction cancelled 4 days later. Received a notification on my phone wallet, emailed to ask why the sale has been cancelled, Bras are still for sale on their website I’m still waiting for a refund of £60 and a reply. First and last time I order from here.
Interesting reply ……. I’m no expert, but normally, if fraud is suspected by a card issuer, the transaction is stopped and the card holder warned of potential fraud, the money certainly would not be taken.

Hi Julie Ray,

Your order was cancelled as it was red flagged by our payment processor as potential fraud. To protect yourself the cardholder as well as Poinsettia a full refund was issued. You would need to contact your card issuing bank to query how long it takes them to post refunds to client accounts.

In response to your update - you are incorrect . We did not note that the transaction was stopped or that it was flagged by YOUR card issuer, we noted that it was red flagged by OUR payment processor. Your card issuing bank did process the transaction.

We receive flags from our payment processor for many reasons and as a business it is up to us to determine what is safe to dispatch.

It was determined by our team on this occasion that we wouldn't be proceeding with your order and a full refund was issued.

never ordering from them again

I should have read this site re-customer service and not bothered to order.
I have used them two times with no problems then on my third purchase I had a faulty item. To say they make it difficult to resolve an item you believe is not fit for purpose is an understatement, to the point I'm not going to bother and just say lesson learnt.
Back to ordering with Uplifted, goodbye Poinsettia

Do not order from this company

Do not order from this company. I never received my order and when I contacted the customer service by email on several occasions I would get the same response back which says I haven't included my order number and delivery address which I did on every occasion. I am taking further action.

Appalling service – Legal breach and zero accountability for their mistake

The stress and frustration I have experienced with Poinsettia have been completely overwhelming. After sending me the entirely wrong bra—an error they admitted to—they have made the return process unnecessarily difficult and distressing.
They insisted on a "print at home" label. Despite me explaining I do not have a printer, they refused to provide any reasonable alternative. When I offered to post it myself and requested a postage refund—which is a legal requirement under Section 20 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 when a retailer sends the wrong item—I was flatly refused by Vicki.
The level of customer "service" has been shocking. Vicki eventually stated she would not refund my postage and refused to discuss the matter further, essentially cutting off communication while I am still out of pocket for their mistake. It is deeply upsetting to be treated this way by a company after they fail to fulfill their basic contract. I no longer want an exchange and am demanding a full refund. Avoid this company if you want to avoid a massive amount of unnecessary stress and a total disregard for your consumer rights.

Non Existant Customer Service

As can be seen from the reply to my review and to the reply of others Poinsettia choose to accuse their customer base of defamation and fraud. I think it is evident by the number of 1 star reviews who is being honest.

I have been a customer of Poinsettia Style for a number of years. However, since they no longer operate from their Glasgow shop their customer service has become non existent.
Placed an order 8th March, by 18th of March had no contact. Sent an email and received no reply. Received part of my order a few days later but my order was never fulfilled. I raised a charge back with my bank and the company is now claiming they fulfilled my order and I have never contacted them.
To be clear - tracking numbers were provided AFTER the charge back. The tracking numbers clearly show the item has not been delivered.
Will never use Poinsettia Style again.

You have committed defamation ( libel) by writing that Poinsettia no longer trade from the Glasgow shop address. This is not an accusation, it is a fact. This is being investigated by Trust Pilot and has been flagged with your card provider.

Poinsettia has traded from the same Glasgow address for 14 years.

The order was not complete

The order was not complete. Rather than sending me the missing item, there was much argument about how it was checked etc. On the verge of getting the credit card company involved when they decided to complete the order. All OK now, but not a pleasant shopping experience

I had ordered from here previously and…

I had ordered from here previously and didn’t have a problem but it definitely seems to have got worse the communication service is non existent, diabolical correspondence have been waiting for a delivery since 9th December!!! I wouldn’t bother ordering from them I’d rather pay more and got items from a reputable company. AVOID!!!!

Poor customer service and poor quality goods

I purchased 2 bras and the boning has broken in both bras. One of them the first time I wore it! When I contacted this company they said I must have bent it and broken it myself! Not sure why I would want to break the boning. have worn this model Fantasia bra for years and always purchased from reputable retailers. I should have known when they were sold at £25 each instead of usual £35 each. I thought I was getting a bargain but have wasted £50. I returned it to them for inspection and apparently it’s gone back to manufacturers to inspect, that was 6 weeks and despite me emailing all they say is they are still waiting. Why does it take so long? Don’t waste your money on this company. Their after sales is appalling. I’d advise you to pay a bit extra and get quality. Absolutely appalling.

Very happy customer

I was a little worried after reading some reviews but I am very pleased with my purchases. I ordered 3 bras in the style and size I usually wear. They arrived within a week. The price was excellent value. I am very happy to support independent businesses and would definitely use this company again. Thank you.

Very unpleasant interactions!

Firstly, I’d like to note that part of the reply from the seller includes text copied from a private email I sent to this company. The message/s were not intended for public disclosure and contain my personal information.

Republishing private correspondence without consent constitutes a breach of data protection and privacy regulations (including the UK GDPR), which has been reported.

I’m genuinely surprised that the person that works in customer service. As others have noted in their reviews, her emails come across as unnecessarily accusatory and dismissive. I only asked a simple question — not a complaint — yet her tone was condescending and sarcastic, which made the interaction very unpleasant.

Note to the owner: please consider assigning someone else to handle customer communications. I’ll be taking my business back to Bravissimo instead and won’t be returning.

Her reply doesn’t reflect the reality! In fact it’s vitriolic! A prompt reply was received, but an unhelpful one accusing me of measuring one bra with a 'well worn' one and then purchasing the wrong - neither were the case. I just had a simple question from the outset! You'll never get anywhere with this 'Customer Disservice Representative', other than receive a barrage of ridiculous nastiness in replies to your review, so shop elsewhere and save yourself the bother!

I have NOT purchased the wrong size - I am a XX - the same as the one I bought from Bravissimo - identical bra, just a different colour.

I was simply asking you if you were aware of any difference in the yarn when it comes to colours - because there is such a thing and it is an inch shorter than my other BRAND NEW UNWORN bra.

I note you don’t do free returns, but I need you to reconsider this under the circumstances - this is not my fault, as much as you’ll say it’s not yours.

Zero issues! :)

After reading the reviews and seeing the ratings for this company, it was with some trepidation that I placed an order.
I can now happily report that I had zero issues! I received order status update emails, the package was tracked and subsequently arrived (on the other side of the world) within 2 weeks of placing the order. The products were all new (with tags) and as described.
I would not hesitate to order from them again!

Excellent service and price…

Items arrived prompty as described within the seven days. Neither fitted so I returned items and had a very quick refund. Ordered another item different size which again came promptly. Thank you for service and quality item.

Item never received

Item never received. Customer service was rude and unhelpful. Made to feel like I was lying. A company I will not use again.

The reason I chose to write a review now is because I was browsing for new items and this company came up and it jogged my memory of my experience.
So, the courier company provided a pin drop of where they delivered it but, regardless, the item was not delivered. Neither the courier company nor Poinsettia were helpful leaving the customer to lose the money. I maintain that the customer service was poor, the tone of the emails was unprofessional and I believe that is reflected in the fact the company has 60% 1 star reviews.

Edit : The courier company was Royal Mail and the package was sent using a tracked service. Royal Mail confirmed delivery and PayPal sided with us - confirming you have accepted delivery at your address.

All emails from Poinsettia were prompt and polite. We have served thousands of happy customers and do not participate in soliciting paid reviews on Trustpilot. Customers can review genuine customer reviews through Yotpo on our website.

Your order was placed on Dec 27th 2024 - nearly one year ago. What a strange time to leave a review when nearly a year has passed since tracked DELIVERY.

This TRACKED order was DELIVERED and the customer's bank closed the charge back in Poinsettia's favor on February 16, 2025.

This confirms the review is FALSE.

I ordered a bikini top and bottoms from here, didn't receive I rang the number constantly, sent emails messages on messenger no reply, I payed through PayPal as I aways do contacted PayPal to raise a dispute, next day got a message order being sent no tracking, a bit ate I'm heading on holiday in the morning, shocking customer service won't ever order from this site again

Great choice, competitive prices, prompt refunds for returns.

I ordered several different styles and sizes to aid choice of a sports bra. I only kept 1 bra, returned all others and promptly received a full refund for all returned items. Very happy with everything. Excellent prices, wide variety of styles, plenty of sizes available and all items received in perfect condition. I cannot fault this company and will order more. THANK YOU!

Disgusting customer service and used item sent

** Edited after reply, the item arrived and I emailed within about 20 minutes to complain, this 7 days is a lie. So I will be taking this further, you cannot run a business, failing to provide clean unused items then call the customer a liar when you cannot tell the truth.

I ordered two bras from this company which took over two weeks to arrive. When they finally did, one of them was clearly worn and dirty, absolutely unacceptable for a full-price item. I took photos and contacted customer service right away.

Instead of apologising or resolving the issue, they accused me of lying and claimed I had worn the item myself. I’m absolutely furious and deeply upset. I am not a liar, and being treated like one over a faulty item is beyond insulting.

I paid over £30 per bra and expected better quality and service. With everything going on in my life, the last thing I needed was this added stress and disrespect.

This item sent to you was brand new from the manufacturer with all tags attached. All orders are checked by 2 team members, I myself packaged this bra. This defamatory review will be flagged.

The order of 2 items was dispatched promptly and inline with our current expected dispatch and delivery timeline which is transparent and available to review online prior to purchase. There was no shipping delay.

More than 7 days after you accepted delivery to your address you sent photos of an item which had clearly been worn - caked in filth, straps adjusted with no tags attached- and requested a free post return for this item as well as a free return for the 2nd item - same style and size in a different colour which you noted you have not yet worn.

We will happily accept a return of any unworn items however as you have clearly worn the item photographed it is no longer eligible for refund inline with UK consumer contracts regulations. If the items do not fit they need to be returned prior to being worn.
