Have been using Pharos for several years and always pleased with the service and pricing.

We have been using Pharosparcel for a few years now and have found the service to be excellent. The staff are always helpful and the collections on time. Very good value for money.

I've always found Fiona and her team to be as helpful as they can be whenever I have had to contact them. The service is easy to use and manages to keep costs to a level where a one-person operation like mine can afford a courier, when contracts and minimum package turnover are out of the question. The fact that Pharos uses world-renowned UPS means that I can have confidence that my parcels, however frequently or rarely I send them, will arrive in good time, having been treated professionally along the way.
For one-off, affordable parcel services, I would be hard pressed to find better.

We have used Pharos for several years now and virtually never have any problems. On the rare occasions that things don't go like clockwork (mostly due to customers mistakes or demands) we love the fact that we can be talking to a real person on the phone in just a matter of seconds and the problem is solved. I have been using Pharos Parcels for the last 2 years and book all my UPS shipments through them as I don't have a UPS account.Pharos act as a broker for UPS and can organise same day collection if booked before 12.00
Its a brilliant service and the most economical I have found.I've seen a couple of negative reviews on trust pilot of Pharos with people blaming them for damaging their items..If you don't package it properly this can happen but you can't blame Pharos who are simply a booking service.
I have found their customer service first class and just to be clear I have absolutely no connection with this company..I'm just a very happy customer who thinks it right to sing someones praises when its due!

This company subcontracted the delivery to UPS. I paid the extra insurance. My parcel was crushed. Over a month later I have had nothing but lies and excuses. I have lost over £250. I am writing this to warn others, do not part with any money to this dishonest company.

I have no connection with this company. The combination of low price and truly excellent customer service is outstanding. The service is very reliable and on the very rare occasions things go wrong they do everything possible to put it right.

From my experience with this Company I would have no hesitiation in recommending them. Customer Service was brilliant. I e mailed them in the evening and had a response first thing the next morning. On line booking was very easy. On telephoning the company they were very accommodating as to when the parcel would be picked up.

The price was very competitive for an 18 kilo parcel too. It was delivered the next day without any problems.

I have no hesitation in recommending this Company. The staff were brilliant from start to collection. There are many companies out there who should take a leaf out of their book !!!

I guess there is nothing more to add... My items arrived broken (telling me some cheap excuses to avoid pay for them) and They charged me near 50 pounds for the box sizing!!! How can I prove that I measured correctly 3 times the box? They say that they calibrate the laser every day... So now is my word against them but the only one who pay it's me!! Next time I should call a friend and he will record me while measuring to keep the video as an evidence. What a sight!!!

I've used this company several times now to send parcels both within the UK and to Spain and have always had a great experience. Parcels have been delivered safely and within the time scales advertised. Any queries I've had have been dealt with professionally, efficiently and more importantly by a person at the other end of the telephone line.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone thinking of sending a parcel whether within the UK or outwith.

As well as running a software business that requires us to ship documentation all over Europe, I also own a property in Portugal.

I found Pharos Parcel online but as they are fairly local I thought that would be useful. In reality this has been irrelevant as they collect from my office or home. Their customer service has been outstanding and when sending items to Portugal they have advised what I can and can't send.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to ship a parcel within the UK or to Europe.

Booked a collection at 10am and it was collected by the courier before 11am the same morning. Excellent price, speedy service what more could you ask for!

I had to return and basin and a basing cabinet to a bathroom supplier. As they did not have their own collection services my builder arranged the return of the Items through Pharosparcel. Pharosparcel completely broke the items to the point that the bathroom supplier has refused to refund me the money for the items. My builder contacted them and Pharosparcel told him that these items are restricted and are transported at our own risk. Therefore, Pharosparcel has a wild card to charge me a fee and treat items carelessly and them disclaim any liability. I basically paid a fee for Pharosparcel to break two expensive items. As a result, I have written to them requesting a refund of my fees plus compensation for the damaged items. They have not replied to me so far and I might need to take them to Court if I want to recover my money. Very frustrating experience. As a result, I WILL NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR RECOMENDED IT TO ANY ONE.

In my mission to find the best / cheapest courier oiptions I have tried many sites - and this is up there with most of them.

Site makes me feel like I am buying off a guy named Terry who works out of his garage - pehaps his parent garage.

Prices are good, but once my above opinion was formed I cant see any way to keep using. Its just not very good, and that surprises me as the market is so competitive now. Didn't have many reviews so perhaps they are new and just starting out - will check back to see if they improve.

YOU CAN TRUST IN THEM. IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION OR DOUBT, ITS DEPARTMENT OF CUSTOMER ASSISTENCE WORKS WITH EFFICIENCY. IN MY CASE, ALL MY DOUBTS WERE SOLVED. ITS VERY EASY TO WORK WITH THEM.
AND ABOUT THE SENDING, BE SURE THAT ITS SERVICE IS SO FAST, CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT MY PARCEL ARRIVED IN ONLY TWO DAYS FROM UK TO SPAIN? WHEN I NEED TO SEND A PARCEL, I WILL CONTACT WITH THEM AGAIN.

FOR THE SECOND TIME, I HAVE CONTACTED WITH THIS COMPANY.
MY PARCEL ARRIVED TO MY COUNTRY (SPAIN) FROM UK WITH THE SAME QUICKNESS AND SAFETY THAN WITH THE PREVIOUS SENDING. SO, IT IS EASY TO SUPPOSE THAT I ONLY CAN RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

i booked a parcel collection yesterday at 23pm, after being let down by a competitor twice (yodel). Courier turned up, as expected, was courteous and helpful. Parcel is on its way now. Recommend this service.

A very helpful and easy company to work with. Will use them in the future.

I'm a student, I shipped two boxes of personal belongings to central London from Scotland using standard delivery. I chose Pharos over the well known "UniBaggage" company and I feel vindicated having done so.
i) PRICE. £11.75 for boxes up to 30KG - 50% cheaper than the big well known company.
ii) FLEXIBILITY. Pharos afford a bit of flexibility RE the 30KG rule. Some companies will refuse on collection. What's more, in the booking section, weight increases in intervals of 0.5KG meaning a lower price for slightly heavier items.
iii) ATTENTION TO DETAIL. The booking process takes into account needs on an individual basis. Customers enter their own descriptions of contents and weights, which appear on the label. There are no fixed, and often inappropriate "categories".
iv) INSURANCE. It's based on the customer's valuation of the contents, and the charge corresponds. Again no "packages" which can be misleading or unnecessary are used.
v)PUNCTUALITY. Collection and Delivery were prompt, and within quoted timescales. For standard delivery, items were received within 24 hours.
vi) SERVICE. For after-care issues the staff are responsive, and genuinely care. They will operate in a business-like manner with the customer's issue at the core.

In all I feel happy to have used Pharos, and I will again. My experience with the company show they are ideal for a variety of customer for a variety of reasons. From students, to business people, to conscientious individuals - the cost, speed and care shown by Pharos make them an ideal choice.

I am very impressed with Pharosparcels I have sent 3 separate 20kg boxes to Ibiza, they collected the parcels at the time promised and were delivered within 5 days. Access to tracking the parcel was very easy too.I can't recommend them enough
