I've used this company on and off for over 10 years. They are fast, reliable, cheaper than Royal Mail and easy to reach by phone. Never had a priblem with them.

Very good service
Have used Pharos fair amount this year to ship to Sweden. Everything has arrived at the destination in good condition. One delivery got slightly delayed (1 day ) but Pharos customer service was excellent, they were easy to contact and resolved the situation immediately to our complete satisfaction.

I've used this service a few times since moving to Spain and can't recommend them enough. Reliable friendly and prompt. The guys that collect the package are so helpful and whenever I need to contact the office about anything they get back to me so quickly. From UK to baleric islands within 4 days every time. great service
I was recommended by a friend and i now recommend to other friends. I had no problems with this service . It was efficient and I was able to track every step of my delivery. I write this as someone who used the service from both sides, sending and receiving. Just one thing as someone sending, it would be nice to at least get a rough estimate as to what hours of the day the parcel is to be collected. Even if it is just an indication of an AM or PM pickup, so I can plan my day better.

I agree it would be great if we could give you an approximate collection time. Unfortunately our carrier UPS does not provide this service
Collection tends to be in the afternoon but if the driver is passing your house in the morning and has a collection request he could call then.
We are looking to bring a new improved service for parcels to Europe in the New Year which I am sure you will find more customer friendly.
I hope you will continue to recommend us to your friends. We do really appreciate it.
Bad experience
This is the second time I try to send parcels with this company and both went wrong.
Because the collection address was residential, I took a day off at work as it was the only option I had (collection times are from 9-5) No one came to pick up the parcel. After calling them, and telling me that there is no way they can contact the drivers, they came the next day, meaning that I had to wait for two whole days at home.
Custom service was nice but useless.
Because I wanted to think that this was an isolated incident I decided to send another parcel with them (as I read very good reviews).
Again, they did the same. The whole day waiting for nothing. No way to know if they are coming, when or if they will do. No way to track them, contact them or nothing at all.
So, basically I assume they are ok through companies. But I strongly recommend not using this service with residential locations. I wonder why they offer this service if they do not know how to manage it.
Please, avoid wasting our time.

I am sorry you have had such a frustrating experieince. I cannot reply on this specific case as you did not give a name, but if you would like to email me on info@pharosparcel.co.uk Reference M7 FAO Fiona I will try and find out for you why your collection did not take place on your first day. We use UPS to collect your parcels and occasionally we just have a weird address that the driver can have problems finding.
If we were aware you had had a problem before we could have contacted the preferred desk at UPS who can contact the local depot and give the driver some additional information. We do collect from thousands of UK addresses all the time and it is a very rare occasion when this happens I am sorry you have had this experience twice. Please do contact me and we will try to ascertain for you what has gone wrong.

Was one of cheapest for the size and weight. Everything went smoothly and was delivered on time. Can't ask for more really!

Experiencia muy negativa con esta empresa. Muy buenas palabras, mucha cortesía en los correos, pero cuando llegaron los problemas por extraviar un equipaje que ellos habían recogido y aceptado, en seguida todo es evadir responsabilidades y remitirte a UPS, que es a quien subcontratan el servicio. Afortunadamente UPS sí es una compañía seria y que afronta los problemas. Casi un mes para recuperar el envío y porque directamente lo gestioné con UPS. MEnos web, menos facebook y más asumir los errores señores de Pharos Parcel

Gracias por sus amables comentarios sobre nuestro personal que no tratan muy duro para encontrar la maleta perdida para que usted.
Estamos encantados de saber que UPS se las arregló para encontrar que era una gran noticia.
Por desgracia, hace falta tiempo para hacer una búsqueda exhaustiva como esta y ocupa una gran cantidad de recursos de personal también.
Como explicamos Nosotros insistimos en que usted pone su maleta en una caja.
La razón de esto es que sabemos durante el tránsito ya que las etiquetas pueden desprenderse de maletas y bolsas.
Nosotros no recogemos físicamente su parcela, pero contratar a un tercero, en este caso, UPS para recogerlo.
Por lo tanto tenemos que confiar en nuestros clientes de leer y seguir las instrucciones para el envío de artículos y afirmamos claramente en nuestra página principal en rojo que todas las maletas y equipaje deben encajonar. También hemos traducido instrucciones en español en nuestra página de inicio para ayudarle.

Thank you for your kind comments about our staff who did try very hard to find your lost suitcase for you.
We were delighted to hear that UPS did manage to find it which was great news.
Unfortunately it does take time to do a comprehensive search like this and takes up a lot of staff resources as well.
As we explained we do insist that you put your suitcase in a box.
The reason for this is we know during transit because labels can come off suitcases and bags.
We do not physically pick up your parcel but engage a third party in this case UPS to collect it.
Therefore we do have to rely on our customers to read and follow the instructions for sending items and we clearly state on our home page in red that all suitcases and luggage must be boxed. We have also translated instructions into Spanish on our home page to help you.

We do find a lot of our customers find their local collection drivers are terrific and go out of their way to help our customers. This is why we continue to use UPS as we do think they provide a good quality of service.

1st time use this company, very disappointed!!! Customer service was bad attitude,rude, impolite. Never trust the quote been given online as I was invoiced extra afterwards.

I am sorry you are dissatisfied with our service.
The reason you were invoiced afterwards was because you sent a very long and heavy package which really wasn't suitable to send as a parcel.
It was over the maximum weight we can send on this service and far too big.
As a result we have been invoiced by our suppler for a Large Package Surcharge for exceeding the maximum dimensions we can send with them.
You admitted to our member of staff who contacted you that you hadn't actually measured your flooring pack before sending it.
When it was measured by our supplier it was found to be 11cm longer than you had declared, 11 cm wider and 4 cm bigger in height.
This took it over the maximum size we can send.
Had you inputted the actual measurements and weight on our website you would not have been able to book this.
My colleague has the unenviable task of having to phone when we are charged for parcels that are oversized and she went to great lengths to try to explain to you why you had sent this invoice.
However she struggled to get you to understand the situation because you were shouting at her so much.
We have as you requested contacted our supplier and have asked them to send a copy of the measurements they took when shipping your item and Kathryn will be forwarding this to you today.
We take great pride in being open and honest with our customers and hope they will be the same with us.
