Don't get caught out
It advertises as offering "dog friendly not just tolerant" holidays in the UK, however a quick search reveals 9/10 locations do not allow dogs on the furniture. That may be fine for Wendy the second-home-owner whose gun dogs live permanently in her farmhouse boot room, but for us lowly commoners we want to sit with our dog beside us. No dogs on furniture is a "tolerant" policy you'd expect in the local pub, not somewhere you plan to stay overnight for a week.
There are also additional supplementary charges for each dog on every location. For all the extra cleaning required for your dog sitting on the floor...

Thank you for your review and we’re sorry to hear you feel this way. One thing we’ve really learnt from speaking to our guests and gathering their feedback and insights is that ‘dog friendly’ means something different to everyone – as a team of fellow dog owners we can relate!
We strive to accommodate a variety of dogs and their humans, and we personally inspect our properties with a dog to ensure each place welcomes dogs warmly.
We think it's important to collect all of the dog-friendly information and display it on the place page, so that you can make an informed decision and find the place that's right for you and your dog before booking. This is much easier than when a place simply states they're 'dog friendly'!
In fact, only 12% of our collection has a rule against dogs on the sofa. When this is the case, we make sure other special touches and features are in place to ensure dogs still feel comfortable and welcome. We try to encourage the owners of our places to be as dog-welcoming as possible.
To clarify, not all of our locations charge extra for dogs – we do have a whole collection of places where dog charges don’t apply. It all depends on the owner, as they set their own pricing and rules.
