If you have a family income of less than 200k, don’t waste your time, you will get knocked back immediately. Not their fault I guess, just a symptom of a broken system.

We have our first home through OwnHome, it's a very exciting moment. Very graceful for the helps from Jarrad, Claudia and Bridget. They ease the stressful home buying process by checking all the documents with extra service like home and pest inspection. As well as the negotiations with the agents and the developers, they guarantee the best price for us.

Really pleasantly surprised at how easy OwnHome makes the process. We didn't really know what we were doing but had a good idea of what we wanted and Andrew, Jarrad and the team made the application process and then finding, negotiating and buying a home simple.

Given this is our first home, we felt really secure in the knowledge that the team at OwnHome know what they are doing and know what to look out for. My only regret is that I waited so long to apply. Thanks to the team for making our dream of homeownership come true, and for taking the stress out of the process!

I got to admit that I was a bit sceptical when I first met OwnHome. It was one of those things that's it's too good to be true. Ehheehe
I had been looking for a way of finance a home for at least 1.5 years and the answer was always negative due to my time in Australia, even though I had all the prerequisites required so.
I met OwnHome and 3 weeks after that I was already looking for a Home 🏡. :). Now, I'm just waiting for the final approval for the settlement. 🎉🥳👍😁

A great initiative and support system for people who have the capability to make repayments but unable to save enough deposit. Tim and team are amazing. Super friendly approach and open to customizing solutions with changing circumstances. Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances we couldn’t proceed further with Own Home on this ocassion however, they are recommended for everyone who is currently struggling to save the deposit. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I think now that I'm working at a startup I have a whole new respect for the effort, blood, sweat, tears and dollars that goes into not just by the founders but the entire team they bring in to get their business up, running and profitable.

Our initial conversations with Nathan were informative, clearly communicated and his follow up and accessibility were appreciated.

Our buyer’s agents Jarad and Bridget made the home-buying process an absolute pleasure for us - always accessible, organised, knowledgeable, clear communication around expectations, tasks due and deadlines.

We couldn't be happier with the result and we are so excited to get into our new home and make it feel like ours.

Nathan from OwnHome group was extremely helpful. He thoroughly explained every step in the process and was always willing to answer any query we had. He was very transparent in the discussion and always sent emails to summarise what was discussed. He never rushed us into any decision making and allowed plenty of time to think and go over the available options.

A few months ago I first contacted OwnHome to explore the services they provide and my options.

After a few weeks, when I finally decided to use their services I could not have asked for more: from Nathan to Darcy and obviously Bridget and Jarrad, they all have been understanding, responsive, quick, crystal clear in every interaction and with a level of honesty I have never found before.

They have always gone above and beyond not only to provide me the best service, information and experience, but also to make me feel safe and protected in this sometimes crazy and bumpy journey of becoming a homeowner.

I only have good words and appreciation for everything I have experienced with the Ownhome team and I highly recommend contacting the team to explore the possibilities you may have.

OwnHome has given me and my partner the opportunity to enter the property market at a time when it felt near-impossible. We just exchanged on a property last week.

Pros:
- They held our hand at every step. For those uninitiated in the property space, it can get very complicated very quickly. However, OwnHome made it simple for us and streamlined the process. Without them, I would've have given up much earlier.
- Thorough due diligence on homes and suburbs that ensures we don't overpay or buy a lemon.
- Very responsive and digitally native; communication was convenient.
Cons (but not really):
- Obviously, OwnHome is a business and there are fees involved. However at the end of the day, it was still achievable for us financially and any fees paid for themselves and then some more (between the work they put in, conveyancing and build/pest reports).

I have had the best experience with OwnHome. Everyone is super helpful, friendly and genuinely interested in doing their best for you. It would have taken me many more years to achieve without Ownhome. The process was simple and clear and their responsiveness and attentiveness is beyond any other customer service experience I have had. I highly recommend OwnHome and would like to specifically give a shout out to Nathan, Jarrad and Bridget - you guys are amazing!

My partner and I have recently bought our first home all thanks to the help of the amazing team at Ownhome! The service they are offering to get first homeowners into their home sooner might not be for everyone but it is definitely worth exploring if you are sick of renting, have been working towards your deposit and don't have the financial help from family. The team have been so helpful, honest and always available to answer any question we have had along our journey.

I don't think I could go through the process of buying a house ever again without the help of Bridget and Jarrad (the absolute dream team!). They did all the hard work and held our hand through every step of the process while we got to do the fun bit of choosing our home.

I didn’t end up using Own Homes services but we did consult with Nathan to see if it would be a good option for myself and my partner. Nathan was so informative and helpful and when it turned out that there were different options that may be more beneficial for us in the long run, he was still so supportive and helpful and gave us a referral to someone who would be able to help us more in our instance. He went above and beyond and I really appreciate that none of our discussions or consultations felt pressured in any way, leaving me feeling a lot more confident. If we have a change of situation where Own Home became more suitable to our needs, I would be so confident to proceed with Nathan and his team.

Pretty sure they’re no longer operating or in business - the website still allows you to input details, including confidential information but then nothing else happens and they no longer respond to any emails or messages. Probably best to skip this one.
