This is a review with a point of difference. It's not from a consumer. Rather, it's from a provider, a broker in fact. I am an independent broker with my own family business, the intermediary between Own Home and consumers.

I don't think there's enough positive noise about the product, and more importantly, the team.

I had hit a massive roadblock back in January with a scenario I was working on, and Tim Harley - one of the head honchos, if not THE head honcho - dropped his tools and reached out to me.

I think that's pretty fishing cool; organisations often get too big and get bogged down with bureaucracy and red tape, creating more layers of staff. This equates to speed to customers, or in my case, speed to brokers.

Tim not only got on Zoom with me, workshopped the numbers past me, but also followed up diligently pre and post-Zoom.

All up, Tim gave me over one hour of his time, over 2-3 day period.

The end game? My clients walked out of my Masterclass session feeling 100% certain they've got a broker they can trust, and OwnHome is a product they can 100% rely on.

You should have delegated this job to one of your minions, and focused on the other 2,999 things, but colour me impressed.

The premium attached to their services is worth every cent, they take the load off by helping you through all the pesky paperwork so you can keep inspections and the place you want to live in at the top of mind. It was absolutely amazing working with Ownhome, starting my journey with a quick Q&A, understanding my situation and what I want out of the process. That initial meeting inform me with the high level understanding how OwnHome works who then introduced me to Claudia. Claudia, Jarrad and their team stood by me while I looked for homes, were patient with all my decisions and consistently kept me both informed with purchasing things I did not know as a first home buyer and in high spirits when things didn't go my way. Then working with Tom and Nathan, I got all my ducks in a row with picking a bank to mortgage with and as of September 2024, I finally moved into my first home. Thank you everyone for making the journey fun, joyful and informative! Could not recommend you enough.

Waste of time - It is just a marketing gimmick. Please do not share any of your information with these people before you talk to them. They are just like any other brokers and have build funnel to grab all your financial details. To the founder - Clearly mention that this product is for new home buyers and not for people who already have property portfolio. This marketing gimmick will not work. You are wasting our time and collecting sensitive documents.
