Northern Runner Recenzje 

I had been recommended by my podiatrist to try a couple of pairs of trainers following a foot fracture and tear of one of my foot tendons.

I purchased 3 different types of shoe from Northern Runner. However, each were not suitable for different reasons. I returned them in person to their store in Newcastle.

I was refunded immediately and in addition to this, the guy I spoke to (I forget his name) looked at my feet and within 10 seconds was able to tell me what size and type of shoe would be ideal.

I tried them on and he wasn’t wrong. The most comfortable fitting shoe I’ve ever had and I feel no pain when walking in them (unlike other footwear I own).

It surprised me the guy found a shoe first time as I have such high arches and wide feet. I usually search for hours to find a decent shoe.

The one I tried on was so good I’ve purchased an additional 2 pairs as Brooks don’t make them anymore.

A massive thanks to the guy in there. Great customer service. I’ll not buy my shoes from anywhere else now!

Excellent service overall, initially spoke to a very nice helpful chap on the phone who guided me on width sizing for a pair of hoka mach5. From here I was able to place an online order through the site, and received my trainers a couple of days later in excellent condition. Very recommendable.

I returned some Hokas that were too small and received a refund the next day. (Also well done to Royal Mail Standard Delivery!) My new order of a larger size (also from Northern Runner) arrived promptly and these fit perfectly. I am a huge Hoka fan since buying my first pair last August - instant relief from plantar fasciitis, after suffering for 18 months. Though I am female, I find men's Hokas better as there is more wriggle room for toes.

After a bad experience with original delivery from Royal Mail (not Northern Runner fault) Michele in Customer Service sorted for me same day. Very impressed & will shop here again in the future.

First experience with Northern Runner but was very impressed. I emailed with some questions and received a fast response ahead of buying some Hokas. Unfortunately they didn’t fit quite right so I returned them. I was surprised to receive confirmation of my refund the same day my return was delivered to them. No waiting around, wondering when it’ll get sorted. Excellent service

A wonderful company, my first port of call for trainers, always arrive in record time. Only once had to return a pair due to not being a good fit. Refund made immediately. Highly recommend.

Customer service was very poor. I've bought 3 pairs of Hoka trainers from them in the past year and have had issues with 2 of them. Because they are now out of warranty with Hoka they were not interested in helping at all. I would have expected better considering how much I have spent with them.

Picked up a couple of pairs of end of line Topo Athletics for a really good price. Dispatch and delivery was very prompt. Will definitely use Northern Runner again.

Awesome, got a deal on Altras just because they're older model. Customer service not the most responsive, but at least you get a human being to help you rather than a robot. Happy overall, I wish I could upload pictures to the review but TP doesn't support that.

Just great — they got everything right.

I ordered a pair of Brooks running trainers, which were dispatched quickly and delivered promptly by Royal Mail. The fit wasn't quite right, so I paid for a bigger size/wider fit and sent the others back (at own expense, but only £3.50 with Royal Mail). The return was received by Northern Runner on a Saturday, and the refunded money was back in my account the next working day (which was a Tuesday as there had been a bank holiday).

Honestly the only thing that could be better is free returns, but I'd rather prices were kept lower across the board than see this cost added across the board.

Would really recommend this online sports shop.
Its really difficult to find the correct size of running shoe with all the differing UK>>USA etc sizing including wide fittings .
I had to return some shoes to get my accurate fit 3 times! Every return/delivery was quick ,efficient and I was kept in the loop.
Always stressful ,so I cannot fault the service.

I called the shop before coming in and the lady on the phone was super friendly. I cant stress enough how reassuring it is to speak to someone with a nice telephone manner. It immediately set things on the right foot, pardon the pun! Thank you so much to John L for his help in-store today. He is clearly experienced and was spot on with his recommendations. He took the time to analyse my feet and gait and he was extremely kind and non-judgemental. It was a great experience. Northern Runner had been recommended to me by a member of staff in another running shop so they clearly have a very good reputation. John also recommended a fantastic independent coffee shop around the corner which I really appreciated as I find it important to support local small businesses. They also have a scheme where they will recycle your old shoes if you bring them in. It is great that Northern Runner is a business that has a sense of community as well as being so knowledgeable and professional. I observed the other staff members helping different customers with the same level of attentiveness as well. I can thoroughly recommend them and I will be back.

Was looking for a pair of new Topo running shoes, Northern Runner did last years model at a very competitive price. My order was processed quickly and I was kept well informed. Delivery was very quick, i paid the £4 extra but never thought they would arrive the next day! Very happy and would use them again and recommend to anyone.
