We had a wonderful time in Cambodia! Allison was excellent with the planning phase of our trip. Our guide, Joe, and the driver, Sambo, were amazing and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and satisfied with their service. We had a wonderful time in Siem Reap and Battambang. The accommodations in Siem Reap were excellent and surpassed our expectations. The food at all of the restaurants throughout our journey was great too. We would definitely recommend using Odyssey for a trip and are thinking of planning another trip with them in the near future to a new location.

Mavis very helpful in planning stage and followup for 3 generation family requiring special room arrangement and tailoring to our interests. A learning process for us who knew nothing about Sri Lanka. Van for tall people ( 2 meter tall son ) very comfortable. George, our guide, excellent...sharing information and responding to requests. Also, I used him for guidance on how much and when for small (well desreved) tips to local experience guides. Example: visit to small village hut where an amazing eggplant curry, grated chllli cocoanut for rice and other vegetables prepared all from scratch over small wood fire stove fed 6 hearty appetites... with good explanation/demonstration. Memorable.

The hotels were of good quality and in good locations, the day trips were good and we were very happy when Allison was able to easily change an internal flight for us.

This review is way overdue. My husband and I booked our 31-day Vietnam and Cambodia Tour with My Odyssey Tours. Our travel consultant was Liz Ling who was excellent! She was professional, competent and put together a great itinerary. The entire tour went seamlessly. The drivers, guides were knowledgeable and were patient with our desire to capture specific photograhs, especially in Sapa. Booking a custom private tour is definitely the way to travel, and Odyssey Tours is one of the best. We highly recommend them!

I can comment only on my dealings with Karen at chinaodyssey.com to set up a one day tour of the Forbidden City And The Great Wall at Badaling.

Karen is the Travel Consultant who has arranged this tour for two on Feb. 14, 2018. She is quick & thorough in her replies, patient with my questions, and helpful in anticipating & understanding our needs.

I'll report again after we actually do the tour, but just now we are excited by the planning.

I can only comment on the PRE-TRIP ORGANIZATION so far since I have not yet taken the trip but my planning experience with consultant Mavis Jiang was very good.

Alick was incredible and made sure our first time to Asia was stress-free and well planned. Without him, my best friend and I would have been completely overwhelmed trying to plan a last minute 4 week trip to Asia. He went above and beyond when it came to quick communication, revisions to our tour guide, and dealing with issues as they came up real time while we were in Asia. I can't recommend Alick and Odyssey Tours highly enough!

We were very impressed at how Odyssey Tour put together our trip to India. Everything was seamless and in order.
Ms. Mavis Jiang is our Contact Person/Representative from Odyssey Tour. She is very helpful, prompt and thorough when she plans our trips.
The way the trips are organized (the drivers, the hotels, the excursions), the good value for money, and Ms. Mavis Jiang great communication are the reasons why we come back to Odyssey.

This was our first time traveling with My Odyssey Tours and we were extremely pleased with the entire experience. John was great to work with on planning the trip and got back to us quickly every time we had a question or suggested change to the itinerary. We felt the tour was an excellent value for the money.

While we were in India the execution was flawless, with airport and hotel greeters, drivers and city guides meeting and assisting us every step of the way. I had my birthday while we were in India and the company arranged for flowers and a cake for me, which made it extra special.

In Sri Lanka we had one man as our driver and guide the entire 4 days, which worked fine. Two of the hotels we stayed at were very beautiful resorts and made us feel pampered.

We look forward to traveling with My Odyssey Tours again and highly recommend them.

We have wanted to arrange a trip to China for many years but we're a little apprehensive. However we came across Odessy Tours and began to talk to Alex Peng. This man was truly amazing! He made our holiday a trip of a lifetime and made some amazing suggestions we had not even considered. He reassured us and was always the consummate professional at all times. He constantly updated us of the itinerary at all times prior to the trip, all the visas were pre arranged. Our guides were amazing and some we keep in touch with. We loved our trip and plan to return to China and would want to deal with Mr. Peng again. He is a true ambassador for your company, I would have no hesitation to recommend Odessey to my friends if they were to deal with him. Thank you so much.

Every part of our trip was perfect! No snags at all. There were a couple of changes due to situations out of Odyssey's control. Our travel agent (Alick) was right on top of it. We had a last minute change to one of our tours due to the water being to high and I had an email from Alick when we landed at the airport giving us a new tour to go on. I would definitely recommend Odyssey and Alick.

We booked a 15 day tour to Vietnam and Cambodia with Odyssey. Our travel consultant Foring did and amazing job. One of her many suggestions was really great ... to take a two days Halong Bay Cruise instead of the usual one day cruise. We were able to truly enjoy it and relax ..!
All the process of planing and booking was efficent and profesional. The hotels we stayed in were excellent and perfectly located and all the activities were fun and valuable just as were our guides.

We visited Cambodia, Thailand and Myanmar in Feb-2017 with Odessey, what an amazing time! Alick Peng did a fantastic job helping us to plan our itinerary and personally customize our trip, always responding quickly to our requests and changes - this while I was in Australia and my partner was in Switzerland! We had a fantastic holiday with competent drivers, knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides, super hotels and above all, it was a memorable cultural tour with many local insights and experiences. Claire Jiang was an excellent source of information and guidance to us. She provided intelligent suggestions and immediate responses to all of our e-mails. She helped us fine tune the details of what to do and see at each of our visitation points. Claire was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend her to any traveller for her polite, knowledgeable and professional approach.

From the initial planning of a 7 week detailed itinerary covering many locations and highlights in China which needed to meet my exacting requirements through to the actual trip using excellent private guides and cars for each location and plane and train transfers from one location to the next and very satisfactory choices of hotels everything was organised and done with outstanding professionalism.
Our guides in every case had good English, a good knowledge of their locality and its history and learned to understand my special needs as a photographer and were therefore able to offer that little bit extra to make it even more enjoyable.
Even the drama of needing to get an updated invitation for entry to Tibet at late notice, while concerning at the time, all worked out satisfactorily.
Our consultant, Foring Huang, was attentive, knowledgeable and very good both before and during the trip.
My wife and I ended up having a great 7 week trip seeing the best of China and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend My Odyssey Tours to others. In fact we have already organised another trip through them with Foring as our consultant to other locations in Asia in 2018.
