I have bought some stationaries tonight but did not collect receipt because the cashier did not give it to me.
I went there for a refund or replacement about 30 mn later because I chosed the wrong items.
They refused to refund or replace although they usually write on their receipt that it is possible even without bringing the receipt.
It is a very weird customer service.
IT HAPPENED AT Mr. PRICE ASHBOURNE on the 21st December 2023 around 6.30pm.

Nenagh Mr price the worst experience of my life from a obnoxious person serving and impolite customer service was the worst I ever seen went out with my shopping to car fourty euro went back in to get the two teddies for 4.99 when u spent twenty because I put the shopping in my car I couldn't get them only my family in car I would have brought the whole lot back in and get my money back got his training if that the way he trained to threat customers ye be better of without them no manager around no one to speak to cried and went back to my car going to tell everyone about this experience no wonder there was no one in there hardly I am sure there alot more people that could be taking on for these roles then truly the worst service to receive I would advise everyone stay clear if you don't want your head bitten of what happened to customer comes first

Mr Price in Tullamore is awful. Every time i buy something there then it is always with misleading price tag. Staff need to work well for the correct price tag.

I have shoped in the Midleton shop for many many years, I live just up the road so it's always handy and cheaper than many other shops. Recently have noticed it seems messy and dirty. I am part of local women's knitting group and there has been talks of mice spotted in the shop on a few occasions I always saw this as rumours or just a once off but experienced it first hand myself yesterday!!! I was looking for toys for my grand daughter and heard a commotion and sure enough there was a live mouse on the shelf and overheard staff saying this is going on months. Absolutely disgusting considering food is sold here. I will never ever buy from from this shop again I'm absolutely disgusted and we buy a lot of our wool here well never again, even though the stock of wool is basically non existent in recent weeks any way

I undertand the weather and mice will happen but to hear it's an on going problem and not sorted is shameful. I hope the health and safety department or haccp are informed of such!!

Mr Price Ashbourne used to be a decent place to shop. In the last few years it has become very unpleasant. Consistently putting the wrong prices on the shelves then charging more, never less, at the checkout.
When trying to explain to the staff, both on the checkout and management, the response is usually rude and sometimes passive aggressive. I have had staff tell me not to raise my voice, even though I had not, which was pointed out by another customer.
The response from emailing customer care was distinctly lacking in care.

Mr price is Dundalk is a very friendly environment and staff are always happy to help customers out if and when needed ♥️ highly recommend this store for all your needs 😍

I went for specific items that I found. easy to find items. full shelves. easy to navigate in store. great prices for different items. I found what I wanted and even more. very pleased with the items and the prices

Love their sport division. My daughter started playing hokey and she found everything she needed with them.

Visited north Main Street, cork, today. Went to pay, was told the note I presented wasn’t in good enough condition to be acceptable. It was ripped but I didn’t notice until it was pointed out. At the time I was slightly shocked so handed over another note but upon reflection I gave them legal tender and they said nope!!!! There’s no signs saying we only take mint crisp notes 🤷🏼‍♀️

Daniel in the dundalk store was doing a great job of serving my co worker when he was rudely interrupted and quite frankly argued with by his 'manager'
A simple transaction made awkward and confrontational. I honestly think the 'manager' needs customer service training.
Again well done Daniel for being very helpful. I'm only sorry your manager hasn't learned from you.

I was at your Mr Price branch in Westwood Mall Durban, I went to open up a Mr Price account the sales advisor that assisted me was Ziningi she was the most friendly and very helpful, she was just to happy to assist me, Mr price needs more of her.. Thank you team Westwood it was my first visit their and an awesome one.. J Pillai

Was in Mr price midleton at 8.45 this morning, 1 customer at checkout, 1 staff member serving him. 2 staff members at counter blowing up balloons. Walked past customer to next checkout to be informed by one of the balloon blowers that "Laura (the girl already serving) will look after you in a minute". Went back and stood in line and waited....and waited......and waited. Guy in front of me still being served. I had two items to check out. Balloon blowers still happily blowing/bursting balloons. Put my two items on counter and said "you know what ladies, I think I'll give my custom to Tesco" upon which balloon blowers number one said "yeah, you do that". Needless to say, will never return. Appalling service, no customer appreciation, serious staff and management training required.

Mr price Waterford, on the ring road , the shop assistant , Susan was so helpful to my daughter who is planning a christening , she went out of her way to help us , giving advice on what type of balloons would suit the venue that was picked , I would definately recommend this shop for all your party needs

Mr. Price used to be The Best place for balloons. Twice recently I bought balloons, helium filled, paid extra for gel so they would last…..almost immediately they started to deflate.

Had everything I needed, but prices have definitely gone up.

Athlone store is an absolute disaster. I've been to this store multiple times and without fail they always overcharge me on at least one item every transaction (also the same in Mullingar) and won't offer the products at the displayed price, I've also been caught out multiple times in the past paying more for products and only realising when I got home and checked my receipt, I now always check before leaving the store.

At this stage I feel like the price tags displayed under the products are deliberately mislabelled as I read other customers are having the same problem in other stores around the country. I'd like to point out that not once have I been undercharged. It's run by kids and there's a couple of extremely rude male staff members working there. When I questioned being overcharged yet again at the weekend I was told by a member of staff he didn't care and laughed at by two male members of staff, including the manager who was extremely condescending, absolute imbeciles working here. The excuse was that customers move the labels, which is an absolute lie, it happens too often and feels orchestrated.

Management really need to step in and train these people in customer service. I love shopping here but I think this is the end of the road for me. Get it together MrPRICE, you're losing customers.

I'd also like to know what your policy is as regards to mislabelled products, doesn't seem to be a mention of it on their website, conveniently.

Update 25/4/2023 - In response to my complaint I was contacted by a lovely lady from head office who took the matter very seriously and reassured me the issue would be dealt with quickly. A few days later a follow up call confirmed the process had already began to rectify the problem. I'm extremely happy with how the issue and I have been treated and will continue to shop in MrPRICE going forward thanks to the fantastic customer service I received from head office.

Mr price is one of d best stores n bandon and I always love shopping there esp when they have so much and never run out of what I'm looking for . Plus d staff are always so helpful esp at d tills. I highly recommend this place to any one.
