⚠️ Even though they have the best prices, at Ballincollig store shelves Prices often do not match what you are charged at the till, with most items ringing up higher than displayed. If you notice and point it out, staff will usually refund it or give you a 20% discount with a careless attitude. Because these overcharges are small, many people do not check and end up paying extra. Always look at your bill and compare it with the shelf price before leaving the store. It feels like a smart strategy to make extra money if you don't catch it.

Monday 31/8/2026 At 2.20-2.40 pm I wanted to exchange one mould spray worth 2.99€ for two fabulousa cleaning sprays fizzberry and cherry bomb the tall cashier bout 6'' foot slim build ginger hair pale pasty skin tone said he will refund my card then charge me 3€ for two products as he can't let me leave shop without paying but I had receipt for previous purchase of same value, and I said it will be easier to replace opposed to refund as it takes five days for a refund back to card I asked for manager, I told the manager the cashier wanted to recharge me for two products as well as refund my card the manager 5"2-5"5 dark brown hair cut slim build, usually quite nice manner but I felt he was tired that day and had a lot to manage and didn't want to be called I feel that was the reason as I read people very well micro expressions are a real tell tale sign. Manager stated that doesn't sound like my colleague would say that and cashier insisted on antagonizing situation the manager was fed up of conversation from both sides. The topic at hand is gaslighting customers and management enabling this behavior this is unacceptable in any relationships consumerism personal professional I will not tolerate being made to feel I'm misinformed or wrong when I'm right, I suggested an easy replacement which was fair cashier suggested first refund fair but then wanted to charge me more the manager allowed me replace easy but the issue is the cashier perhaps made a mistake but then denied mistake as so not to get in trouble but made the customer I feel I didn't hear him I've been gaslighted before over the years I study psychology and use it in my business I won't stand for this treatment from no one especially not someone working in a local shop where it's for the community to feel safe and secure it's also bad for business hiring people that gaslight customers but then again companies media industry along with politicians church gaslight communities everyday shame on all Mr price and other companies.
Watch gaslight 1941 movie to understand affects of gaslighting more clearly making people feel they are wrong the gaslighter denying abuse ever happened also YouTube have great informative videos on gaslighting.

The staff in coolock are very helpful ,i go there a lot and I always find the staff very helpful 😀

The store has a lot of variety but it's terrible to go there because every time I go to buy something when I get to the cashier the value is different from what's in the template! This is very boring and a waste of time.

Have to say well done to mr price for including all types of people in working in their shop equal opportunities for everyone and prices are better than I expected

This was my 1st order and I was super inpressed! Well packaged and sealed, quick delivery. A1 service, have recommended to everyone.

I came in to mr price letterkenny on the 8th of June 2026 and had an awful encounter with one of the staff named Elizabeth. I was looking for a specific type of cat litter as my cat is disabled. I explained the situation to her and she laughed in my face asking if my cat actually has down syndrome. I got very hurt by this and I asked her if I could speak to the manager. She told me the manager was off and repeatedly begged me not to tell as she would get “fired”. She then proceeded to say that it was a joke and that “people cant even have a laugh anymore”. If mr price has one job to do its to not hire ass holes with no empathy as the service I had was beyond a joke.

I am 25 years of age and the women refused to serve me a can of monster after I showed Id she then told me to leave and my friend who’s 13 she sold it to him,this was in enniscorthy and it was the blonde girl

The Rathdowney store it's great lovely staff with good variety of products.

Absolute circus, about 10 staff walking around, queues at the till, 1 staff member trying to serve 10 customers and trying to contact other staff members to give a hand out
Shop is smelly when you walk in and disorganised.
Not a patch on the bunclody store which is top class

I went to Mr. Price in Tralee today to collect some anniversary balloons that I had ordered yesterday. Unfortunately, the service was really disappointing. It was extremely windy, and as soon as I stepped outside, one of the balloons burst. When I went back in, the staff were completely unhelpful—no apology, no effort to assist, and they barely even acknowledged me. I felt like a complete inconvenience. Sadly, I won’t be going back—there are plenty of other places in Tralee for balloons, and I’d strongly recommend you skip this one.

Nice store at Gulliver’s, did work experience there for a week in December and the Manager Walter was amazing and really nice. He encouraged me a lot which was nice, and because of him this shop is the best spot I’ve done work experience!

The staff at that shop are great people to chat with and really friendly and everything in store goes great I loved my time there.

At around 6pm I went into Mr Price in Naas. After going up and down aisles to try find my products I decided to go upto a till to ask for assistance. The man at the till had an English accent and was in his mid twenties. The man was on a phone call on loud speaker whilst at the till, making it difficult to communicate my query. I eventually got his attention to ask for help and he gave me little to no reply about where the product was. Turns out the product was apparently "out of stock", even though it is a primary material in the school resources section. Not impressed by his service at all.

5 Stars 🌟 for Rob Killarney store. He has exceptional customer service skills. Friendly, helpful but most importantly approachable. He is such a wonderful asset to Mr Price. Please thank him on my behalf.

I was in the Waterford store on the cork road when I tripped and fell after trying to reach a 4 pack of lucozade. Paula helped me to my feet and made sure I was completely ok. She stayed with me for as long as I needed and really made me feel comfortable and cared for. Paula is an absolute angel and the world would be much better off if their was more people like Paula!!

Called into mr price in newcastle west co.limerick and we all know the great quality anr variety that is there but what impressed me most was a staff member there called Jamie was on tills when I called and Jamie was just the most hepfull and engaging and dedicated person I have met in retail in over 20 years, and I work in retail. Jamie has set the standard🌟🌟🌟☀️🌟
