The paddle shifters themselves look awesome but for some reason they don’t work in my car no matter how I re assemble it they don’t work

I had a terrible experience with Mode Auto Concepts.

I ordered wheel spacers for my 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE 53 AMG using their vehicle selector tool. I entered my exact make, model, and year, and their website populated the recommended spacers and lug hardware for my vehicle.

When the parts arrived, the lug nuts/bolts were too short and unsafe for the application.

After contacting support, they attempted to blame me by claiming I “did not provide vehicle information,” even though my purchase order clearly showed the exact vehicle the order was placed for. They then admitted they do not even offer the correct hardware sizing needed for a 20mm spacer setup on the GLE 53 AMG — meaning their own system recommended incompatible parts.

Instead of taking responsibility for the fitment error, they tried to force me to pay return shipping and a 20% restocking fee for a mistake caused by their website recommendation system.

The most frustrating part was the customer service. Rather than resolving the issue professionally, they repeatedly shifted responsibility onto the customer despite clear documentation showing the order was placed specifically for a 2024 GLE 53 AMG.

If you own a Mercedes AMG vehicle, especially a GLE 53/63, I would strongly recommend verifying every fitment detail independently before ordering from this company. Their automated fitment recommendations were incorrect in my case, and support was unwilling to stand behind the product recommendation generated by their own website.

Hands down the best experience I've had with an auto shop. The team at Mode Auto Concepts has been nothing but amazing from start to finish. They helped with wheels/ tires, flex fuel and a BM3 tune, and the results are unreal, the car drives like nothing I've ever experienced, and I've owned plenty of fast cars. They are knowledgeable, communicative, and genuinely care about getting it right. If you want a shop that treats your car like their own, look no further. Huge respect to the whole crew. Can't recommend them enough! 👌🏽👌🏽

Save your money and order directly from the manufacturer. Almost all the products they sell are rebranded from either alibaba or aliexpress. The only reason to order with them is for warranty, however when you go to make a claim they just deny you anyway. I provided all the evidence and documentation and was just told “ Your claim is not eligible for a warranty replacement.” They sell faulty unsafe products that could have caused my wheel to fall off! If you’re in the same position as me with a warranty claim, i’d recommend reporting them to the ACCC as multiple reports will cause them to be investigated for misconduct! Also contact your bank and file a chargeback and get your money back that way!

I will never shop with them again.

took ages to get a response from anyone the after waiting the item that said in stock was out of stock and couldnt get any for months... then the refund in 2026 took 15 business days?

Spacers – Disappointed with Post-Payment Service

I am very disappointed with Mode’s conduct and after-payment service, which I found misleading and unprofessional. After making full payment and having a written agreement in place, Mode attempted to request additional money before honoring the original terms.

Representatives Mason and later Brandon informed me—under the owner’s direction—that unless I paid the extra amount, the company would refuse to supply the goods as agreed. Brandon even misrepresented their company policy, and when I read the actual policy aloud during our call, he was unable to justify his position. He then abruptly ended the conversation, saying he “had to get off the phone.”

I’ve since discovered other dissatisfied customers have reported similar issues and difficulty reaching Mode. For reference, I was provided with the following contact numbers: 0433 093 421 and 0432 163 456.

I purchased a part from their website that was clearly advertised as compatible with my vehicle. When it arrived, it was not compatible at all. I contacted them expecting the issue to be resolved promptly, but instead they refused a refund and insisted the part had been tested and was suitable for my vehicle.

It was only after I provided clear written evidence from the vehicle manufacturer proving that the part was not compatible that they finally agreed to accept the return. Even then, they attempted to impose a 20% restocking fee and required me to cover the return postage, despite the issue arising from their own incorrect compatibility information.

The most frustrating part of the experience was the complete lack of accountability and customer service. Rather than addressing the problem fairly, I was met with excuses and resistance until the evidence against their position was undeniable.

Based on my experience, buyers should be very careful and independently verify compatibility before purchasing. If something goes wrong, do not expect a straightforward resolution. In my view, the focus seems to be far more on protecting their sales than looking after their customers.

They will not respond to emails or return calls regarding a part they sent which was incorrect. Zero after sales service, do not purchase from this company as if you need to get hold of them, you cant. The only phone number on their website is a mobile number which goes straight to voicemal. There are dealers listed on their web site, i contacted some dealers to obtain a land line number. The dealers even state they are dodgy and are impossible to get hold of. Avoid at all costs!
