Mark Ryden Global

​I ordered a bag from Mark Ryden Global but changed my mind shortly after. According to the cancellation policy explicitly stated on their official website, you must contact customer support via email within 24 hours to cancel an order. I followed their instructions perfectly and sent FOUR separate cancellation emails within this timeframe. Mark Ryden Global completely ignored every single email and processed the shipment anyway. Later, when responding to my criticism, customer service doubled down on the lies, claiming that there is a "self-service cancellation button" in their return center that I should have used. This is a blatant lie. Their own public FAQ and cancellation policy page clearly instructs customers that the ONLY way to cancel an order is to email customer support. They don't even have a functioning self-service cancellation option on the site.

Fortunately, I paid via PayPal. I opened a dispute and uploaded the emails I sent to the customer services as proof. Because my documentation was flawless, PayPal's automated system ruled in my favor and issued a full refund within hours.

​When customer service finally replied, their attitude was shocking. They tried to claim that they had intercepted the package and issued the refund, arrogantly stating that "PayPal disputes don't refund your money so quickly." Too bad for them that the timestamps proved them wrong: PayPal refunded me at 13:38 on Sunday, the money cleared in my bank at 06:38 on Monday, and Mark Ryden didn't process their refund until 10:53 on Monday—21 hours after PayPal already closed the case.

​To top it off, when I mentioned their poor reputation on Trustpilot, customer service literally replied: "There are too many unreasonable people in this world, and we cannot satisfy everyone."
​Calling your disappointed customers "unreasonable" when your own customer service, website information, and cancellation policy are a total failure speaks volumes. If you absolutely want to buy a Mark Ryden product, buy it from a different retailer or make sure you pay with PayPal so you have actual consumer protection. This official webshop is a joke.

UPDATE: Response to the merchant's shocking reply
Instead of taking responsibility, the merchant chose to reply with a series of fabricated timelines and highly unprofessional personal attacks. Let’s look at the actual facts:
The Saturday Lie: The merchant claims they "immediately addressed the issue when starting work on Monday." However, their own website explicitly states their working hours are Mon-Sat 09:00-19:00. I sent my cancellation emails on Saturday morning (at 01:19, 08:41, 09:34, and 12:09). They had an entire 10-hour working shift on Saturday to read the emails and cancel the order before any shipping occurred, but they chose to ignore their inbox.
The Financial Haughtiness: The merchant mocks me for being "hasty" and worrying about an amount "less than £30". For a reputable business, consumer rights and store policies are a matter of principle, regardless of the amount. For Mark Ryden Global, it is apparently "unreasonable" for a customer to expect them to follow their own terms.
Unacceptable Personal Attacks: To top it all off, the merchant concluded their official corporate response by writing: "I believe you're just going through a special time each month... I hope your special period will end soon." Resorting to unedited, sexist insults about a customer's biology because you lost a PayPal dispute is a spectacular public relations failure.
A direct note to the Head of Customer Service at Mark Ryden Global:
I truly hope you review this interaction and ask yourself if this toxic, abusive attitude is what you want representing your brand globally. When a customer service agent uses the official company account to launch personal slurs at a client because of an internal logistical failure, it reflects poorly on your leadership. I am absolutely certain that you can find far more qualified, professional, and mature individuals on the job market to represent your company.
Potential buyers, read the merchant’s reply below and judge for yourselves before giving them your money.

Well, thank you for clearly showing that you're also one of those unreasonable people.

Firstly, our website clearly states that our working hours are Mon-Sat 09:00-19:00. When we started working on Monday, we immediately addressed your issue. You were just being too hasty, thinking that no one in the world would scam you for less than £30.

Secondly, the self-service returns button was always displayed on our page. I don't blame you for not finding it, but if our staff informed you in an email with a link, and you still couldn't accept the reality, then you are also one of those unreasonable people.

Regarding the PayPal dispute, I personally suggest you log into PayPal and check the specific timeline of the dispute before expressing your opinion.

Of course, as the official website, we are still happy that you continued to purchase MARKRYDEN, because regardless, you still made a purchase through our company.

I believe you're just going through a special time each month, and I'm willing to understand.

I hope your special period will end soon.

DON’T BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE

I ordered a backpack and was waiting for the delivery. After 2 weeks I haven’t got any update so I emailed the customer service, no reply. Then a week later I asked for an update or my payment will be recalled and I would report the company. Next day I got an email saying that ‘I cancelled’ my order and the payment will be refunded. Luckily I’ve got back my money but I would never ever purchase anything through this scammer fake website/company! SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!!

The return policy is ripping off

The return policy is probably the worst I've ever experienced. They are ripping off the customers. I am based in Australia, but they asked me to return the package to the US and I have to cover the international shipping cost which is approximately 70% of the package value. This is ridiculous. PLEASE NEVER ORDER IN THIS WEBSITE UNLESS YOU HAVE TO BE HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT NO MATTER WHAT. The product quality is not too bad, but with their business mindset, they don't deserve to have your support.

One of the worst shopping experiences…

One of the worst shopping experiences of my life. We bought two backpacks and only one arrived. When we complained, they washed their hands of it, saying that according to their records, we had both packages. We proved with a letter from the transport agency that this was not the case, and yet they still told us that according to their records, we had both backpacks. To make matters worse, when we told them (after more than a month and a half of providing evidence that we were indeed missing the backpack) that we needed a solution, they replied that if we wanted, we could have a 50% discount on our next purchase! So, they won't deliver the backpack we paid for, and they expect us to buy another one from them? Shameful.

Defect product and loss of money

The bag arrived and the product had defects. Sent an email with pictures and they approved the refund. But now they have asked me to ship the bag to China which will cost me $30 Australian dollars and their admin fee. Already lost about $50 for the defect product being sent and you gain nothing. With that money you can buy a good quality bag in Sydney itself.

Loved it until ....the zips broke

I loved the backpack and bought one for my don too, who also loved it.
But...baducally all rhe zips broke one by one, including the metal 'pulls'.
I contacted the company with my comments, but as I coukd not find the receipts, they dud not help me. I sent photos etc. But nothing helped. So far the zip repairs have cost shout the orize of a new bag. So we are very disappointed.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Upon completing my order I received an email stating my order was flagged as possibly fraudulant and was being requesting to send over my payment information from my credit card to establish that my payment was legit. I did not feel comfortable sending over my private financial information it felt like a scam to me so I just requested to cancel my order which the company denied my request and stated they would still keep my money and not mail out my order until i provided the requested information. Still has not been situated. Horrible experience I will NEVER place an order ever again. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Güzel ürün kalitesi, ilgili ekip, sorunsuz teslimat

Oldukça ilgililer ve süreci güzel yönetiyorlar.
