I've been using MacX Video Converter Pro for years and enjoying the ease and proficiency of its operation. I also have the DVD Ripper Pro. I recently had to move the applications from an old, obsolete Mac to a new one. I'm not computer savvy, so contacted customer support (Adam), but didn't comprehend his reply. After asking again, Adam supplied the details that made it very easy for me to switch and install. His gracious and immediate response should be a model for Customer Service reps everywhere.

The app worked well enough once I "upgraded".
I purchased for $19.99, ended up being billed $66.44.
The $19.99 version was at best bait-and-switch.
Really annoying.
I request a full refund and they refunded be $21.54.
Buyer beware~

I use it frequently, especially for ripping CDs and creating iso files. It's seamless and gets the job done! Recently my hard drive was replaced and I needed to reinstall the Ripper and the license key wasn't working. I contacted support and they responded immediately, and had me back in business in no time! That's great suppport!

Horrible service. Don't buy IT

I have been a user of this software for a number of years now, with different macOS versions and in each case it performs exceptionally well. It is worth reading the online documentation as the features are many, both for audio and video applications. I like the "subtitles" capability very much for some brilliant foreign language films. I would recommend to anyone. The support is very quick and also great even though I have only needed it twice in many years, and then was and issue caused by myself !

The Rolls Royce of DVD ripper software! I have tried them all, and this is the best. The support team are very responsive, patient and helpful and to be honest, it was usually me that was the problem, not the software!

The programs are great and the support is great. It all works very well but if there's a problem, it will be fixed immediately. Very satisfied!

I bought a lifetime license over six years ago. When I moved to a new computer, and wanted to install that app, I found that the old download link still worked even though that old product was no longer being sold. I had an issue getting the license key to work but, via email, they fixed that problem within 12 hours!

Excellent software - quick conversion to and from many formats, logical interface, well thought out. Customer service is good too - fast response time and to the point.

There are lots of options when choosing software to do video conversions. I've tried a lot of them, and purchased more than one. MacX Video Converter Pro is the one that gives the best results, even better than ffmpeg on the command line (which is extremely dicey to get right) and Handbrake (which I used to rely on heavily).

I needed to convert a physical DVD (not copyrighted) to an MP4 and was having no success finding software to do that during a “trial” phase. Although I am computer literate, I have very little experience with videos and was looking for software that was straight-forward and simple to use. I contacted customer service and received a reply the next day (on Sunday) as to what to change in the settings. The suggestion worked great and I purchased the software. Kudos to the company for providing excellent customer service and software that is understandable and easy to use.

I've been using MacX DVD Video Converter Pro for years mainly to create reliable MP4s from my full-sized MOVs created out of FCP. Also great for DVD ripping and a host of other functions. Support has been great too.

The program does exactly what it is supposed to do, quickly, with few glitches. I also appreciate the ability to burn subtitles into my videos.
