Ordered an item on 23rd April and they told me on May 7th after me emailing them they would send me a refund and after 10 emails I still haven’t received it so I have opened a dispute with my bank and they got me my refund.

Further to yesterday's Review, I subsequently contacted The Great British Steak & Kidney Company only to be advised that they stopped making the Puddings last year! Yet London Grocery still advertise on the Web that they can Supply Them!

SCAM operation. They do not send goods ordered and lie about attempting to refund. DO NOT USE. Been almost a month sine I ordered

I have ordered some groceries but have failed to deliver as agreed. They are not taking my calls or responding to my emails. I have asked for a refund, but they have not responded. I don't know when I am going to get my money.

Ordered my food and selected my delivery date. Had an email to say order confirmed, heard nothing since. I had no email saying anything about the delivery. Tried calling the 0800 number and it rang to voicemail. Tried the chat on the website and it goes to a watsapp. Emailed them, no response on any of the communication channels. Luckily I paid via paypal who is processing my refund

Delayed delivery date by almost 10days yet no communication as to the reason why, tried to contact them through email as well as whatsup but no response at all. I would never recommend this shop to anyone

I was informed that my order would be delayed because the company was waiting for a fresh batch of stock. While delays are frustrating, I accepted this because I was assured it was to guarantee the highest quality and freshest products available.

Unfortunately, when my order finally arrived, the products were anything but fresh. The condition of the items did not reflect the promises made before dispatch, making the delay completely unjustified.

What is most disappointing is that the company used “freshness” as the reason for holding my order, yet failed to deliver products that met that standard. Had I been told there would be a delay for other reasons, I could have made an informed decision. Instead, I waited longer and still received substandard goods.

Based on my experience, I would not order from this company again and cannot recommend them to others.

Placed an order; not received; two requests for updates ignored; 20 days later still not received; their site appears to just be a scam. Refund requested to my credit card; so far nothing received.

DO NOT buy from this business. I personally made an order and paid but nothing arrived. Contacted them many times through Watsapp, email and phone but without success. Eventually got one reply via email telling me that their product was out of stock and would initiate a refund. Since then I haven't heard from them and cannot get in touch.

Ordered some meat and four boxes of cereal. Only the meat arrived. £28 worth of goods was not in the parcel. I’ve tried contacting through WhatsApp but they haven’t even read my message. Tried phoning - twice - each time I’m diverted to an answering machine. Messages left but still no response. I wish I could give no stars and that I had read these reviews before ordering. This is a SCAM company. BUYER BEWARE.

I've been very lucky with my web purchasing experience until I came across this company. Avoid it at all costs. I had a partial delivery of an order (6 cans of fish out of an order of 24). I left a message on their call answerphone (no possibility of talking to a person): no answer. I tried to communicate through their web site: no answer. I e-mailed: no answer. Finally one answer: my complaint had been prioritised and I'd get a response in 24 hours: no response. If this company is not actually a scam it should be treated as such and avoided like the plague. I've raised a dispute with the credit card company used to make the purchase. If they wait to get an answer from this merchant before making a decision then all is lost. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Update: I used a Wise debit card, linked to Visa, to buy the goods. Wise reviewed the case and refunded my money. Very very impressed with the service from Wise. This they did knowing that the actual clawback from the merchant by Visa could take several months.

Scam company. I emailed them to request a refund and the email bounced back: the email address was fake. The 'customer service' contact number was a mobile number that went straight to voicemail. I paid £9.99 for what I expected to be 12x 750ml bottles of water. It turned out to be £9.99 for 1x bottle. Astronomical prices and non-existent customer service. Do not use. If I could give zero stars I would.

I purchased 3 kilo of smoked mackerel fillets. When they arrived I received 2 kilo of unfiletted mackerel that had a best before date December 2025. The Oder was placed in April 2026.
When I raised issue with the company, I received a generic enail stating the matter was being looked into and would receive an update in 24 hrs. To date I have had no further response and the phone line just goes to answerphone that no one responds to.
Very poor show. I would think extremely carefully before using this company.

I placed an order and then I received an email that it was damaged and they cannot send it like that. After a week I asked when can I expect my order and 2-3 days later they replied that because of the things going on in europe their shipments are delayed once they have it they gonna send it. Another 2 weeks passed and I emailed them I’d like to cancel the order and get a refund. It’s been 2 days no answer. I have to go to my bank and get my money back probably. Terrible customer service!

Ordered 9 jelly coconuts. They were late and after being alerted by DPD they had perished and thrown out I was told to contact London grocery about it. No reply in several days. Goodbye £50.00. After reading other reviews on this company I’m not surprised this has happened. Thankfully I didn’t spend more. Buyer beware!

EDIT: I still haven’t had a refund months later and have no idea how this company is still allowed to operate.

I bought London Grocery product through a major American online site starting with A and ending with N (I tried leaving a review on their site but it seems you are not allowed to state the reasons why you are dissatisfied ...wokeness gone mad)
The product from London grocery did not arrive and when I asked the question of them they more or less said ....its a delivery problem ,not ours ,get in touch with the delivery Company!! ..I wont buy from this Company again and I suggest go elsewhere if you want groceries online.
