This mattress has a bit of an odor—kind of a musty smell, as if it had been sitting in storage for years. I’ve already left it out in the sun for three days, but the smell is still there.

Hi,
Thank you for your feedback, and please accept our apologies for the unpleasant smell you’ve experienced with your new mattress.
We understand how disappointing this must be, particularly after you’ve already taken the time to air the mattress outside. The smell can be associated with the materials and treatments used during the manufacturing process. All mattresses we sell must meet the relevant UK fire safety requirements, and some of the materials used to achieve these standards can have an initial odour, which should reduce over time.
We’ve forwarded your feedback to our Customer Care team, who will be in touch with you directly to discuss this further and see how we can help.
Once again, we’re sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while we look into this for you.

Gordon Parker

Could not fault the service
Could not fault the service. I rang about my mattress through the guarantee. They sent someone out the following day. The day after we got a call to go pick another mattress. Which came within 2 weeks. Everyone one was very helpful from Danny the manager to every member of the staff we dealt with. Would certainly recommend to my friends and family.

Excellent advice in store
Excellent advice in store. Didn’t feel ‘pushed’ into buying. Time spent to explain different mattresses and focused on the Harrison Spinks range as requested. Explored different options for delivery due to our location and the mattress was delivered much earlier than expected directly from the factory. Mattress protector was posted directly to us as couldn’t be located in store. Overall a good hassle free experience Thank you!

Odpowiedź od Linthorpe Beds
Hi,
Thank you for your feedback, and please accept our sincere apologies that your headboard arrived marked.
We completely understand how disappointing it is to receive an item that isn’t in the condition you expected, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. While we always do our best to ensure everything arrives in perfect condition, unfortunately mistakes can happen from time to time.
We appreciate your patience while we arrange your replacement. The reason for the estimated two-week wait is that our headboards are made to order, so a replacement needs to be manufactured specifically for you.
We’re sorry again for the inconvenience and hope that once your replacement arrives, it will fully meet your expectations.
