Clothes stolen, money taken and now not responding- avoid!
I’ve used Laundryheap a number of times over many years however I have recently had a shocking experience…..
They have completely mixed up my order- I left 8 men’s shirts in a bag, they returned completely the wrong order with women’s clothing….
I let them know the issue straight away, they came and collected the wrong order however are now 1) unable to locate my order 2) I have been charged for the wrong order of ladies clothing and not been refunded, and 3) they are now not returning my messages.
So in short I would seriously recommend not using this company- it’s exactly as I described, the have taken my clothes and money and are now not responding.

Convenient service while traveling
We were staying at a hotel in central London before my daughter moves into her dorm. As an international student, she had to buy bed sheets and towels in addition to our laundry from the week. Using the website of LaundryHeap was extremely easy. We booked in no time and left the laundry at the reception and we got the them back the next day. It is a bit more expensive than doing the laundry on your own but worth it for the convenience! We saved that time doing other stuff and didn’t have to dedicate time just to wash!
Also we picked the wash and fold service which is way cheaper than paying per item during traveling.

spectacular substitute during urgent laundry crisis
i would say the service itself was immaculate my clothes are washed and packed to perfection! one light blip were delays but then again i guess it happens.
the main goal since my washing machine broke down was to hunt for a reliable service defo recommended laundry heap attention to detail for washing is spectacular!

£1000 for 3 loads of washing. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Laundryheap and feel other customers should be aware of what happened.
Our washing machine broke, so as a family with young children, we used Laundryheap as a straightforward solution for getting our laundry done. We sent approximately three loads of washing with a few delicate items to be dry-cleaned.
We were subsequently auto charged £959. The pricing was not made sufficiently clear to us before the service was completed, and items were apparently charged individually — including things such as baby socks.
They do not offer a total price of the items collected before cleaning (on purpose I assume) as had I known in advance that the cost would be anywhere near £959, I absolutely would not have proceeded.
What makes this even more frustrating is that the service itself was not satisfactory. Some of our clothes were returned stained, meaning we were charged hundreds of pounds for a service that, in some respects, actually left our clothes in a worse condition.
I raised this with Laundryheap and have spent considerable time trying to get the charge properly reviewed. Despite escalating the matter after multiple emails with their customer service team they have only offered a £303 reduction, leaving the total charge at £656 and their current position appears to be that this is an acceptable charge for the service provided. I could not be more disappointed and disgusted by this service and position.

Booking was easy online
Booking was easy online, and pick up time was advised and updated accordingly. Returned laundry was delayed but was advised of problem and kept updated of progress. All items were clean and folded in sealed bags.
Also received someone else’s laundry with ours. I contacted Customer Service via the app and lodged the issue. Received email with apology and was advised when they would reclaim it. I left it in hotel foyer, as I was going to be out. It was picked up and a confirmation received.
Price seemed reasonable.

Extremely disappointed with this…
Extremely disappointed with this service. We paid for a 24 hour turn around only to be advised (once the order was placed) that the order will not be collected until 24 hours later. They quickly rectified the situation and laundry was delivered before flying out.
However, we paid for 2 separate washes darks/ whites. Once we received our laundry it was clear that everything was washed together my white shirt was now pink and not to mention the shrinking of some clothes.
I would not recommend this service full stop.

Very good service when you are travelling
Very good service when you are travelling. Gave my laundry into reception on Saturday morning and it was returned on Sunday, all clean and nicely folded. Wd use again.

They lie to you. They charge a cancellation fee and claim there must be something wrong with your address because that your driver couldn't find it. They send you a link to track your delivery, but the link doesn't work. All lies to charge you for a delivery they can't track.

Mexico City Experience
I used the service in Mexico City and had several issues with delays and items not being returned. I also had issues where they charged me for a high priced item when clearly the items I gave them were the lesser priced.
