I placed an order on 11/25. I received an email asking to allow for 48 hours to process then it would ship. 5 days later, on 11/30, I received an email saying it shipped, however, there is no tracking number. It just says a label was generated and package is awaiting carrier pickup. I check back the next day, it’s still sitting there- not shipped. I call customer service and they can’t locate a tracking number for my order and essentially have no idea where it is, so I ask to cancel it since it’s already been over a week and they say they can’t cancel orders and that I should receive a tracking number that evening. Another full week goes by and I email customer service sharing that it’s been 2 weeks and I still don’t have a tracking number and online it says my order hasn’t even been picked up by the carrier.

They email me back asking for 5-7 business days to assist me (very generic response.) so now it’s been 18 days and I still don’t have my order or any idea of it will

I will NEVER order from this website again. I made a mistake on my order, and I was informed by CS that they can't cancel orders and I could just refuse the package at the door. Well, the package was delivered. And, since it didn't say the company name on the package, I opened it to find out who it was from. By doing this, according to their website, I have violated their return policy and I can't refuse the package at the post office. And now have to pay for expedited shipping to send back something I tried to cancel. I realize it was my mistake but their return policy is total garbage. Why would you take orders on a website if you can't cancel them? I'm not aware of any other company that does this.

The eczema cream is great. However, the pump dispenser stops dispensing when the bottle is still a third full. I've had to cut the tube in half in order to dip my fingers in to use the rest of the cream. It wouldn't matter so much if it were less expensive, but I'm not wasting any at the prices they charge!

I would echo the comments of another review. Customer service is appalling. I love the products but will not be using this website again. I received a faulty product. The complaint was opened on 3rd October. I returned the item around 20th October. Return confirmed by their courier. I still await my refund. La Roche Posay have failed to respond to my last two emails chasing the refund up.

The absolute worst. Got all of the effaclar products because I had some blemishes and instead of making it better I got severe acne and have to see a dermatologist. Do not buy this.

In my order, by mistake I omit to put the apartment number in the address. I immediately contacted Customer Service, so they could add the apartment number to the address... they said that they couldn't do it and that they would send it without the correction, that when the package was dispatched they would send a tracking number and that, I should fix it with the post office... gentlemen, they just had to add a number to the address (the package hasn't even been dispatched).

This left my skin a hot mess! It says mattifying for oily skin, it left a shiny film on my skin immediately on applying and one hour later it was so greasy my pores looked huge and the oil I could physically feel it on my skin, my skin felt heavy and clogged! Made me look awful! This was my second product from them! I thought the first one being the Effaclar Mat one I may have been unlucky but no! This brand is awful!

I think this brand is highly overrated!! I've always hear good things about the brand from social media however anytime I tried a product I wasn't impressed at all , I've tried their effaclar due, I tried their effaclar serum for blemish prone skin which did nothing to my skin except stinging which i understand is due to the salicylic acid it contains, I've tried effaclar Mat , ive also tried effaclar lotion and am currently using their cicaplast blume B5 repairing balm, I've tried their lip balm with spf and am not impressed by any of these products! Especially the repairing balm which leaves horrible white cast with the slight touch your face will have white bits all over for the price you pay 8-10£ this should at least be avoided it's also extremely greasy where it says non greasy this is the description of the product"Despite its thick, luxurious texture, the balm does not leave a greasy, sticky residue and instead absorbs fast to leave your complexion soft to the touch. " ----->definitely very greasy and does not absorb into the skin fast !!!

Looked at their uk website and purchased some products (notably the spf50 sun block) the same as I’d used previously whilst living in France. The photo on their website was exactly the same product I’d previously used. But in reality I was sent a different product to the one they advertised. I sent them some feedback and their reply was “In regards to our range, products we carry in the UK have different ingredient levels, compared to that in other regions.” And I replied that the photo of the products on their website are misleading and differ to the items they sent. They didn’t reply. These products are expensive so I would say avoid buying on their website as you don’t get the exact products and they after sales customer service is just appalling bad.

Customer service is awful. Made a complaint about a suncream. I've had it before and no issues so brought it again. When it arrived it was neon yellow and very watery. Spoke to customer services on WhatsApp but response was awful. Then went to speak to someone via email. Nearly 6 weeks later I'm still waiting for a response. Brought the same suncream somewhere else and it is the correct consistency.

Placed an online order and then panicked a bit when I saw these reviews. My experience couldn’t have been improved! Order arrived within a week, all “free” samples I selected were included. I placed a second order and then had a few concerns. The online chat was unable to help with my online order but referred me to the email - I received a prompt, helpful reply within 2 business days. I needed to call about that online order and the company representative couldn’t have been more understanding and lovely to deal with. I confirmed with her that they do stand behind their products in the event I have any issues with anything I purchase. That is what I’ll do - companies cannot rectify issues they are not aware of. Be kind, it’s not the fault of the person answering the phone, they are there to help. IF they do not help, and their supervisor cannot help then your dissatisfaction is appropriate. Based on my experiences over the past two weeks I cannot imagine anything but a 4 or 5 star review for this online store (Laroche posay.ca)

Placed quite an expensive order as really wanted the free items that were on offer. When the items arrived the free items were missing. When I rang to see where they were I was told they were out of stock at the warehouse. I asked for them to be sent when available but they couldn’t do that apparently. I then said that they were still advertising those items as being free and it was sharp practice, they refused to back down or send anything as a goodwill gesture. I was so mad I also emailed to which they basically said ‘tough!’ Avoid, avoid, avoid!

I ordered from the website and paid for next day delivery. It's now been over a week and I still haven't received my items and when calling customer service, they could not see on the system why I hadn't got my order yet - all the lady could tell me was that my order was sent back to the warehouse for no reason. I still haven't got my money back - don't order from La Roche-Posay - they will take your money and not send you your order. So essentially, they stole my money.

Spent over £50 on the website to get the bonus item that was on offer at the time, but when I received my order, there was no bonus item. Called customer service and was told they ran out of stock and can't do anything about it and if I wanted another bonus gift I had to make another order. They still had the offer advertised on the website.
I purposely choose to buy from LRP because of the bonus item, even though I could have made the same order on another website for a little cheaper. SCAM.

I bought the Effaclar serum ULTRA concentrate and now MY FACE IS FEELING! I spoke to the company on WhatsApp and on Instagram but as soon as I mentioned my concerns they stopped reply! I even showed them a video but no reply! I'm taking this further!!

Went to leave an honest review of the three step effacular anti-blemish system on La Roche posay’s website and they refuse to publish it - how is this even allowed?! They clearly monitor and decline any negative reviews! No wonder they have so many positive ones. I was considering purchasing another product from them but now I feel tricked, and will never purchase anything from them again. Here is my review, so you can judge for yourselves if it’s fair or not!! -

Didn’t work
Unfortunately this just didn’t work for me. I suffer from PCOS and my acne flared up after coming off the pill 6 months ago. I had high hopes after reading so many good reviews, but after around 3 months of daily use - morning and night - my skin is absolutely no different to what it was when I started. In fact, if anything, it’s worse. It’s great you can return it for a refund but you have to return it at least 50% full and I wanted to give it a proper chance.

Really unimpressed with this company. My first order took almost a week to be dispatched even though they say delivery is 3-5 days - when I asked how long until it would be dispatched I was basically told to wait. I placed a second order (unfortunately their creams really seem to help my eczema) over a week ago with no dispatch. Contacted them to be told that my order had ‘failed’ but was never informed of this, and am now being told I’ll have to wait 30 days for my refund. Useless company, I’ll order from elsewhere in the future.

I wish I could give zero stars. Very rarely feel this angry to write a review! Absolutely terrible customer service. Sent items back for refund- almost waiting 2 months with no money back. Customer services keep ignoring the issue. Will never order from them again.

Worst “acne-clearing” product I’ve ever tried. It’s made up of mostly water, first of all. It actually GAVE me terrible cystic acne. Your skin doesn’t feel clean after using it. I had to use astringent twice to get all of the gunk off of my face after washing with this, and the cotton balls were still coming off my skin discolored with oil and makeup. I would highly recommend a $3.00 bar of soap called SAL-3 over this any day. It actually is pure salicylic acid and sulfur product you’re putting on your skin (not water and propylene glycol), and it clears my skin up in a matter of days. I’ve had to use it twice now after switching back to this product to see if it just didn’t work the first time. Thought maybe it was just my skin adjusting to it, and I needed to give it a second try. Wrong. Both times I’ve used it’s broken me out in cystic acne pimples. Laroch-Posay backed by a ton of money and hype from the “skincare” industry that just makes money off of us needing more skincare as a result of their products. I’m curious to know if their claims about 90% of dermatologists recommending are even accurate or if that’s some skewed data they’re using for PR purposes. My personal dermatologist told me to buy SAL-3 and avoid any products that foam (like this one), because they have ingredients that don’t actually clean your skin. And the tube doesn’t shut all the way so it runs out of the bottom when sealed and you experience a ton of product waste as a result. Terrible product… don’t be duped by the hype!

Excellent creams. They are the best for my skin of all which I ever tried.
