I'm 46 years of age, never had any issues with my face. No acne, pimples nothing. I've always had clear skin and have always been told that I look like I'm in my 30s. Recently I started to get acne around my lower cheeks and chin area. I was recommended the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo for spot treatment and also the Cicaplast Baume B5. The lady at the pharmacy swore by it. I also read the reviews and it was all good.

Two days later my face was all burnt and itchy. My face looked so bad, I didn't wanna leave the house. I looked 20 years older. I saw my GP and she recommended I stop the product immediately, gave me antibiotics and also gave me an urgent referral to see a dermatologist.

Both products had given my face a nasty reaction. I contacted the company and after providing them with all the information, they don't believe their product caused the damage. I just emailed them initially letting them know what had happened but they are the ones who said to respond to them with reports, receipts and photos. They don't care. Over 6 weeks now and my face is still so bad. Totally burnt and scrunched up.

I'm not saying these products don't work. Some people have given really good reviews. But just keep in mind that everyone is different and have different skin types. Just be very careful because I don't want anyone to go through what I'm going through.

The worst online business since the internet began. Placed order 23 days ago and haven’t heard nothing about my order. Customer service left me on hold!! I will never order from them again.

Ordered sun screen over 3 weeks ago and the item has yet to be shipped with absolutely no justification or communication with why the item has not shipped. Seems to be a common issue with everyone else not sure why la roche has not addressed this yet, very disappointed in the service, you would expect better service with such a big advertised product

Venting out on disappointing service. Ordered jun 2 and till now the.status on delivery is not shipped. Called and chat with customer support but absolutely no help from them no empathy or what so ever. They will just say we received your order but not shipped. Thats it.. They ruin the reputation of their product

No delivery and useless customer service!

I placed an order over 3 weeks ago, still haven't received it so checked my account- the order was there but not shipped. So I contacted customer support, after 3 days of back and forth they replied 'your order has been received but not shipped yet'. I can see that myself! There was no apology or information of when they might decide to send my order.

I've asked to cancel the order and a refund - who knows how many emails this will take.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. They will take the payment and then cancel your order while still taking the money out of your account. When queried with customer services they will take no responsibility and advise they never received payment which is untrue as I had the statement to show they took the money. They had to be chased numerous times to finally respond with ‘contact your bank there is nothing we can do’
I will never use their products if recommend this brand to anyone!

No star deserves. Anthelios UV mine 400, 50+ It damage my skin with just one application. Try for 6 weeks ago first time and I got the same reacción and I give a try again but it got worse! Itching, burning and very red skin color that last several days. If necessary I have many pictures of the effects to prove it.

UPDATE: LRP contacted me just 1 day after my email. I sent them enough proof that I did not receive the item and put effort to look for the item. They refunded the money straight away and I receive the money less than a week processing time. Hope they could sort the issue in the company so this case won't have to happen again to others especially tourists.

There is a theft group either between La Roche Posay's company, their chosen courier (I chose Colissimo but shipment was conducted by Tousfacteurs) collaborating with outsider acting as the false recipient of the package. I am a tourist delivering my package to my hotel in Paris. I have done this numerous times in many parts of Europe with no fail as it is impossible to wrongly delivered packages to hotel addresses. The address printed in the delivery confirmation by Tousfacteurs was completely different!! It is within the same street though located far on the other end of the street but the name of the hotel has completely changed from Ib*s St*les Hotel to Centre d'Animation. How could this happened whilst everything is on the system and just automatically printed out unless someone manually changed this address??!!!

The blonde woman who accepted my package in Centre d'Animation, 31 Rue du Chateau Landon (beware she is also within part of the theft scheme) immediately said she had asked 2 Ibis Hotels on the street while I have never mentioned where I stay. Even she does not bother to response my twice emails once, she managed to walk to the far end of the street and asked 2 hotels huhh? She told me those 2 hotels did not acknowledge my name which is a blatant lie since I always communicate with my hotel before delivering and when shipment confirmation is emailed. She then threw away my package to my disbelief!! She MUST NOT accept the package in the firsthand and give it back to the courier.

Tousfacteurs also just response my emails 1 week later stating that they have delivered to Ibis Hotel which is another lie since their shipment confirmation stated completely different address to Centre d'Animation 31 Rue Chateau Landon

This group targeted tourists staying within hotels with outsiders located in near proximity with those hotels stating incorrect delivery hoping that we'd be rendered actionless. Boy, don't they know the world of internet nowadays

I have emailed LRP and notified them about this and ask for refund as I never receive my package and has been targeted for package theft. Let's see how they handle this, I'd keep this post updated.

Brought the sensitive creme,sensitive riche and night moisturiser to help with my rosacae, I have never had a worse out break than I have had after using this product

First time using their website and last.
Place the order this morning, no confirmation email received also nothing shows as order completed. Placed the order again and then realised my order has gone through twice.
Immediately tried to contact order queries and customer service by what's up and 2 types of emails just to receive what's up massage back after 5hrs that they can not cancel one of my orders even though my order hasn't been been processed.
Had to wait now to receive 2 same orders just to return one after.
Very poor service! Horrible company management.

Terrible, the ANTHELIOS tinted sunscreen is just okay but I had burning and off colour match and reached out to their customer service and didn't get a reply for weeks and still haven't heard anything. I left a 3 star review on their website after not hearing from them and got a message they didn't publish it, so disengenuous. Their customer service is terrible and the fact they will only publish good review is so disappointing. Thumbs down for this company.

Item never came. 🙂 $35 down the drain.

Ich vertrage nicht das Produkt von Körperlotion Lipikar Baume und habe von der Hotline in Deutschland erfahren, dass ich das Produkt bei dem Kosmetik aktiv zurückschicken darf und werde neue Produkte bekommen auch für das Porto wird ersetzen. Die Mitarbeiterin wußte sehr gut, dass ich treue Kunde bin. Um den Gewicht zu reduzieren, habe der Inhalt ausgeleert. Nun habe ich Heute ein Anruf mit dem Vorwurf, warum ich eine leere Flasche geschickt habe. Nun habe ich ihr dem Grund geklärt. Sie könnten nicht das Produkt nicht ersetzen. Ich fühle mich nicht ernst genommen..vor allem was für ein Casperle's Theater. Ein Weltkonzern wie L'Oréal hat es nötig...Auch mein DHL Porto ist weg !!

I love the sun cream from this brand and wear it everyday BUT I won’t be ordering direct again as they took payment immediately upon ordering but my item still hasn’t shipped a week later and I need it for a holiday. I’ve tried speaking to them and sent multiple emails but no response. It’s an expensive brand so I’m now out of pocket and can’t really afford to purchase it elsewhere. Really disappointed by the lack of customer service, especially as the product itself is so good. If only their customer service was good (or even existed!!)

I just bought La Roche Posay Lipikar Fluide body lotion.
It is the worst cream I have ever tried. It feels like I have covered my body in the plastic wrap I normally use to wrap food in. Even after 8 hours of wearing it, my skin feel like plastic container.
Why is it not possible to give negative stars....they dont deserve a star at all.

I ordered 3 products online and 4 days later received all my purchases. Very satisfied with the quality of service and products.

Ordered a face wash. Was a little dubious after reading these reviews but item was shipped and delivered in 4 days. Was very pleased with service and can honestly say I had no problems.

I would give this company negative stars.. They don't deserve a single star. I ordered 3 products from this company's website as recommended by my dermatologist for rosacea. I immediately noticed they sent it to my old address so i called immediately following the order to get the address changed. CUSTOMER SERVICE STATED ITS AGAINST POLICY TO CHANGE ADDRESS!! They told me to call after the product ships out of the UPS warehouse so Laroche can change the shipment address with UPS. SO I CALLED AFTER THE ITEM SHIPPED...... CUSTOMER SERVICE SAID THEY COULDNT DO ANYTHING UNTIL PRODUCT WAS DELIEVERED. i called as soon as the product was delivered. I asked to speak to a supervisor and i never received a call. So then they proceeded to tell me that they have to open a claim with takes about 20 days at least until i get any refund for my products. i have called this company multiple times to resolve this issue. NOT TO MENTION THEY WOULDNT EVEN ALLOW ME TO CANCEL THE ORDER TO REORDER THE PRODUCT. i will never ever order from this company again even if my face depends on it. I wouldn't even dare purchase this product in store either. They don't deserve a single penny. This company is mediocre and needs to be more mindful of customer service and the needs of their customers. Being a full time mom and working full time, I don't have time to chase down this company over their idiotic policies. I STILL HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A CALL FROM A SUPERVISOR AND STILL HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A REFUND. DO NOT BUY...

La Roche Posay do not care about customers. I ordered items online for my son and was charged for them immediately. I received a confirmation email that said I would receive another email when the items had been despatched. That email never came, over a week later, so I tried phoning but could not get through so sent an email. I received a response 3 days later to say my order had been cancelled, but they could not tell me why. I sent an email back to say I had paid for the goods and no refund had been issued. I did not receive a response to that email so I tried phoning. I eventually got through to be told that a refund would take another 14 days to reach my account - which is over a month to be paid back for goods that were never sent! (with no reason given). To make matters worse, the customer service assistant was neither helpful, or apologetic about any of this. This experience has put me off this brand entirely.
