Everything and more
Everything and more! Aside from the quick order processing and despatch, comms are personal and real time. Not dealing with a bot, this is authentic customer service. Thank you! After my order was placed, one of the items was found to be out of stock. I had a note through from James apologising and offering an alternative, suitable option. Very refreshing. For a small business, the service is outstanding!

Dear Lynda,
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review and for your kind words about your orders arriving beautifully packed. I truly appreciate your support of McIntosh and I’m so pleased you’ve been happy with your purchases.
I completely understand that waiting for yarn can feel frustrating when you are excited to cast on.
In this particular case, the LANGYARNS products you ordered are specially ordered in from LANGYARNS in Switzerland for customers, rather than held as large warehouse stock here in London. Because of this, the product pages on the McIntosh website clearly state an estimated dispatch time of up to 10 working days.
Your order was dispatched by me in 7 days, which was 5 days earlier than the advertised timeframe, and I also sent email updates during the process to keep you informed.
Once the parcel left McIntosh, Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivered it within approximately 48 hours, which I was very pleased about.
As a one-man, home-based business, I always do my absolute best to balance offering a very wide range of specialist yarns whilst keeping customers updated honestly and personally throughout the process.
Thank you again for your order and for your understanding. It genuinely means a great deal to me that you’ll be ordering again.
With all best wishes,
James

Happy shopper
I have placed numerous orders with knitmcintosh and each time I get prompt delivery and notified of the progress of my order. I am extremely satisfied with the service and will be purchasing again soon. This time I got some symponie fixed needles for sock knitting as they anrd my favourite needles for socks, so I stocked up.

Dear Pete,
Thank you for your review — and I completely understand your point; we have all become rather used to next-day delivery.
Your order was placed on the evening of 27 March and was dispatched promptly on Wednesday using Royal Mail Tracked 48, as selected at checkout. The timing unfortunately coincided with the Easter bank holiday period, which can extend delivery times slightly beyond the usual expectation.
I was really pleased to hear that your parcel arrived sooner than Royal Mail had initially advised, and I hope you’re enjoying your needles.
As a small, one-person business, I always do my very best to get orders out as quickly as possible, and I truly appreciate your support.
With all best wishes,
James
