Kent Removals staff are all professional, honest, confident and great communicators. From our first contact with Liam, our phone calls with other office staff both in Townsville and Melbourne, including Ruth, and the efficient, obliging movers who loaded in Townsville and the movers who delivered our belongings, safe and sound in Melbourne, Tristan, Nathan and Matt, our sincere thanks

2nd successful interstate move
2nd time I've used Kent for an interstate move. The communications were all timely and accurate. Pickup and delivery were on the agreed dates with no problems. Teams at both ends of the job were friendly and quick to load/unload. Load team were even cheerful considering I was moving from a 3rd floor walk-up unit. Lots of stairs.

Our overall experience was great. From the pricing, which was very competitive right through to the uplift and then delivery your process was seamless. Everyone we spoke to, over the phone, the uplift crew in Queensland and the delivery team in Melbourne were courteous and responsive.

True story, no embelishment. Be warned.
I was quoted (in writing) a transit time of 9 days from Bundaberg to Wynyard in Tas, so that is what I budgetted for. It actually took 19 days before I was delivered and I only got it then when I threatend legal action. One manager actually had the nerve to tell me that I should be happy as I was being delivered early!! I had to fund an extra 10 days in hotels, food for my family and rent for a house I couldnt use. Forced to miss the start of my new job so add to that lost wages and embarrassment in my new workplace. I was lied to from start to finish and once they get my hard earned money, ($14k) they didn't care. They forget they have real people lives in their hands, not just some name and quote number on a screen. Communication is hard and ineffective. Front line staff were excellent and did a great job with the pack and unload itself. Management and everyone else behind the scenes are awful. I have another move upoming in 6 months and 100% will not be going near Kent ever again. The two stars are for the front line workers only.
