Did the instore experience at coal drop yard with Daniel, top man really knows his watches, chatting and made to feel at home straight away. He even listened to reminiscing about the old days when I came to Bagleys clubbing, which was knocked down to redevelop coal drop yard.
If you love watches book an appointment with Daniel, you wont be disappointed with the experience or the watch you pick.

I purchased this as a gift so cannot comment on how the experience will be. Staff, when purchasing the gift were very helpful.

Was a nice greeting and glass of wine at london store and I do like the watch I chose and had nice engraving thank you (having been given the 'watch making experience' as a gift). It is stretching things a bit to call it 'watch making' as basically you choose (from only 3 or 4 watch styles) unless you pay a lot more and even then not much choice), and then choose dial colour and strap type/colour. Luckily I found one I liked but in all honesty I feel money slightly better spent choosing watch elsewhere.

Thoroughly enjoyed the built your watch experience at the Kartel shop in St. Andrews. Koren was a friendly, engaging, knowledgeable host which added to the whole experience. I am very pleased with my new watch and I highly recommend a visit to this store.

I did an in shop watch experience with Dale, he was very informative about the watches available and different options I could use. The atmosphere in the shop is very relaxed. Nothing was a problem and Dale even helped me decide on a watch and options to make it complete. The watch was shipped to me very quickly and arrived in immaculate condition. Thanks again for all your help, appreciate it.
I look forward to visiting the store again the next time I’m in St.Andrews.

Always been a huge supporter of Kartel with most gifts for my husband purchased here. After buying the latest gift in December last year, a watch experience at the Edinburgh store and a lovely 'Munro' watch, I visited the store 2 weeks ago to replace the strap that had worn away.

The shop was boarded up and a neighbouring shop said they closed months ago. Everything online pointed to the Edinburgh store being very much open for business.

I emailed and have heard nothing. It looks like I'll now have to purchase a replacement strap elsewhere to fit the Kartel watch.

Please beware if you're buying a watch experience for this Christmas as a gift. It does look like all the stores are open as normal but they are not and no one replies to enquiries either.

I didn’t like difficulty and time to get my batteries changed then sent back to me. I have recommended the watches from when you first began. Not as customer focused as they used to be but still great product.

Nice experience with friendly helpful staff

Had this given as a present and after reading both positive and negative reviews wasn’t 100% sure what to expect.

Went to the store at the Coal Drop Yards in London and was met by Daniel. Honestly, such a great experience from start to finish!

Daniel sat me down and actually got to know me and what I wanted before we even started looking at watches! Daniel had amazing knowledge of not only the watches, but also the company and the whisky’s offered were a great touch!

The watch building experience was really good, nothing was too much to ask for and the lady running the experience with Daniel ( I feel awful as I didn’t get her name) was so helpful and really attentive when I was making my selections.

Overall a great great experience that I would highly recommend going into without knowing what you want, as they experience is definitely tailored towards going in, seeing what’s on offer and building the watch you want. If you go in knowing exactly what you want, the experience is guaranteed to be shorter, you’re taking away from the watch building/ selection process if you go knowing what you want.

We have purchased Kartel watches previously and have never been disappointed so booked the kartel watch experience as a retirement gift. Money well spent and would definitely recommend. Dale and Leanne were so welcoming and informative and we were delighted with the watch chosen. A wee tipple during the experience too, which was a lovely touch.

I love my watch, the face is beautiful and it is such a lovely shape. The colour and texture of the strap finish it off perfectly. The young man who served me in the shop at Kings Cross was absolutely charming and very helpful so thank you
