Useless
Useless. Checked their website and ordered for an item that was supposed to be in stock in Kilkenny. Then got a message stating ordere couldn't be fulfilled. Tried Waterford and order accepted. Never heard a word from Jysk since then and called to enquire only to be told that the item which was showing up as in stock was in fact not in stock. Was told I should have gotten a notification. Duh!

Wouldn't even agree with 1 star.!! Ordered a unit in Dec 4th...collected it and unboxed and no fixtures and fittings with it.! So had the unit in bits allover the floor. Went to shop...no satisfaction...they'd order the parts eventhough they had 1 in stock and could've given me the parts from that.! Ordered spare parts...waited another 4 wks for them to arrive...Christmas in the meantime and I couldn't even put up a tree as the unit was all in bits in the corner where tree goes. Spare parts arrived 4 wks later...half missing.!! Went to shop AGAIN spent an hour there trying to order the missing parts. 3 wks later another box arrived...still missing all the handles.!!! Absolutely joke customer service never available and no help when they are..I now have a half assembled unit 2 months later after numerous trips to the shop...calls..online chats etc. I will NEVER AGAIN buy from Jysk.
very poor customer care
I have just been on to two Customer service agents in JYSK and Im completely taken aback by the service. I spoke firstly to someone through Chat to see if he could help me with an issue online as it is saying i qualify for free delivery on my order but then it is charging me delivery of €169 euro. The agent told me it is a bug so ill just have to pay it. I told him that i spoke with someone in the shop and they said i can get my items delivered to the shop free of charge but the online system isn't giving me the option to do that. He said it should be. I advised if have gone as far as putting in my card details and it is not giving me that option. He said 'I cant fix the site myself if its not showing up I can only apolgise' and he ended the chat. I phoned the Customer service to see if i could speak with someone more helpful and advise that it was a bit rude for the agent to end the chat without completing the query. The gentleman that answered the phone apologized for the person that i spoke with on chat but then he went on to say there is nothing he can do to help me if the site isn't working i will just have to go to the shop. I explained i went to the shop yesterday and they told me i was better doing it online. He said there is nothing he can do. I find this very strange Customer Service where they cant actually help you in anyway to get the items ordered. im thinking if this is how they treat people trying to order from them what must it be like to get help with something you have already ordered. I think i will steer clear of them.

It's a shame I have to even give one star. End of Oct 2024, ordered large wardrobe and two lockers. Arrived 4 weeks later, end Nov, and only one locker was intact. Was told I'd have to wait a few weeks for them to be collected or I could return myself. The locker had to be ordered but one wardrobe in stock in dublin. Arranged a van at own cost and went to dublin. No facilities to check but was assured that all was intact. But no, mirror was broke on wardrobe door. Collected replacement locker but also damaged. Now in Jan 2025 I'm still waiting for replacement wardrobe door, wardrobe isn't even listed on the site anymore. Locker not in stock so still waiting. Unless you're buying off the shelf instore AVOID!!!
Completely unreliable
I ordered an item from the website, the collection was supposed to happen in Liffey Valley.
I received a text saying that the item was ready for collection and I headed towards the shop from county Kildare. While on the way I received a text and an email saying that the order was cancelled by the store.
Since we were in the area we decided to go to the shop anyway, just to find out that they had plenty of it.

Was in the Athlone store two weeks ago and the wait time to the counter was 12mins. Majority of the customers had questions or complaints about orders. Eventually I was seen to and wished to order chairs. Online it said they were available however in the store they could not tell me if they were and said they didn’t have time to check the warehouse and could not process the order.
We then said we would purchase online and asked if we could use a gift voucher we had. Neither staff members could confirm if this was possible. One staff member was very rude and just wanted to get through the Que of people. Service was very poor and training appeared very poor for checking stock or appropriate communication.
We left the store with no purchase very unsatisfied.
Rubbish Customer Service …
So I ordered a tiny table for a small apartment with two small chairs on the 16th December 2024. I said I'd have it now for Christmas and myself my child and partner would have a place to eat Christmas dinner as new forever home. No sign of it on 21st I emailed where is my order no reply I emailed next day no reply tried phoning phones not working at the moment 😡😡 then
got text order with courier on 22nd, still nothing received by 24th. So on 30th I was offered without explanation as to delay, a delivery refund, so I accepted it. So again sent 3 further emails where's my delivery no reply, so I said please return my payment as I am going elsewhere, and if my money isn't returned within next few days I will be taking this further. Got my money back and will never order from the company ever again. Absolutely 0 Customer Service training. I got an order from China faster than this crowd.
Don't take payment on time!
Good quality products however took payment for the product weeks after the order was placed without warning. Order was placed on the 22nd of December and payment was taken on the 13th of January. Please be better about taking payment when the order is placed as opposed to leaving it 3 weeks late!

Do you have less than one star to review. I ordered on the first of December an item. Paid and was advised that it will be around the 29th of December,
I went to the store in carlow they said have you received a text, I said no, they said you have to receive a text. Today I received a text I went there they said it is an error in the system.
You will never see my face and hope my friends faces.

We ordered a couch in November...told it would be delivered in 2 weeks time.
4 weeks later we were still waiting.
Contacted them and they said sorry but couch would be delivered hopefully within 2 more weeks.
No couch delivered and we rang them again today and they then asked us do we want to pick another item as the couch isn't coming.
What a joke of a company.
So going to get my money back.
Totally unreliable company. Avoid this place if you are relying on chosen item to be delivered.

Purchased a sleeper sofa on the 29.11.24, JYSK indicated a 3 week lead time for the order.
Received an email from JYSK on the 11.12.24 that
"Your order is now ready to be shipped.
Our courier W.S. Dennison will contact you by phone call, within the next 10-15 working days to arrange a delivery date with you"
I have reached out to JYSK via their online portal and have no response.

JYSK have taken full payment for the goods and I still do not have the sleeper sofa that was meant to take 3 weeks from order and is know getting closer to 6 weeks.

Horrible staff
Jysk at Beacon have really rude staff. I wouldn't recommend going there to anyone, I found it very off putting. Jysk, you need to teach your staff in store some customer service skills. Decided to take my purchase elsewhere and bought 6 chairs in Ikea. Was dealing with 2 rude guys at your pay point that afternoon, very ignorant. Still annoyed so came to leave a review 👎
"It is down to you to find a means to return the bookcase we broke before we wrapped it"
We ordered a van large enough to buy a bookcase whose side panel (at the bottom of the box) was completely smashed. There's no sign of damage on the wrapping so the damage was done BEFORE the product was wrapped.
Customer service told me that I have to
- remove all the stickers from the partially assembled bookcase
- unscrew all pieces
- pull out all the dowels
- put everything back to the box perfectly arranged so I could shut it.
Then, "it is down to me to find a way to return it in a regular car".
I asked to be put through to the local shop and the operator plainly refused it even though I had dialled a local number and I had been told in the shop that no call centre but they themselves answered all calls.

Jysk...Never again buy from here...Unit sent without fixtures and fittings..replacement to be sent seperately..3 weeks later nothing came,went to shop again..told collect replacement next day at shop..nothing there next day either"couldnt be found" so 4 trips to the shop...400euros out of pocket, no unit to show for it and 4 days before Xmas and bits of unit allover my room...and no customer service whatsoever.!! Appalling.!!!

Spent nearly 1000. In the store. Was asked to park outside to make it easier for staff to load the car as I couldn’t help with suffering with cancer, parking ticket issued and was told this would be resolved….3 times. Now I have debt collectors chasing me and apparently this company don’t have a complaints department or head office 🤷♀️ we Had to return the furniture we bought as it looked it had been living with rats and was in such bad state they asked us to go to the back of the store to return it. They then admitted they just pieced things together to make sets up to make full sets and had to get our replacement out of a container away from the shop! Be very careful at what you buy or shop or go to view from these people cause after accepting responsibility for the parking and faulty purchases they have now told me it’s my fault/responsibility to sort the parking charge and refused to help, contact me or claim not to have a complaints department. Lovely company!!
