We easily picked up our device at Narita airport once we landed. It was easy to pick up and get set up. The instructions came in English but also had easy to follow pictures. The actual device is fairly small and fit in our bags easily. It came with a battery back up but we did not end up needing it.

First of all, I’m a picky person and undecided on when and where to do things. But this company went above and beyond in customer service. One of the best customer service I ever had in my lifetime and this was via email. I was planning to go to Japan but uncertain about where to pick up, back and forth I went and finally decided to pick it up at kansai airport where I initial asked for it to be delivered in hotel. I needed it right away since I can’t access anything and they were accommodating to my needs.

I have traveled to most of Japan during my stay: Tokyo Disneyland area, gizon district, Kyoto,Nara for the deers,Osaka for the food. The reception was great and not lost connection.

We are a family of four and needed an unlimited plan because the kids during the in between waits at Disneyland played games and watched videos over WiFi, best to use it for taking the gps to local destination. We took the bullet train from Tokyo t oaska and it was a 3 hour train ride and the WiFi was perfection. Dropping off at the airport was easily too and just follow the color of the package, if it is blue put it in the blue side of the post box.

The WiFi box lasted us the whole I would say 12 hours of use each day. I didn’t have to even use the portable charger but was a nice bonus just in case

Connection speed is good averaging over 40mps which is ok for our needs.

Affordable and super easy access to pick up and very convenient to return with detailed instructions. Internet connection was great anywhere we went in Japan. Will absolutely rent again when needed.

The provider delivers directly to your accommodations, though note they only ship to places with a front desk service. Returning the device is incredibly easy via the mailbox post available right at Kansai Airport.

This rental made our trip seamless, providing unlimited internet data for multiple devices—a lifesaver since I was traveling with children. They also included a power bank, which was essential since the pocket Wi-Fi device cannot outlast heavy, all-day use on the go. The power bank kept us connected all day and gave us enough time to recharge everything once we returned to our accommodations at night.

This is the best value for money for a 6-day stay in Osaka with constant internet access. Truly great service!

We rented the Ninja wifi hotspot for our weeklong trip to Japan. We had 4 devices that we used to connect to it. Connections were smooth and easy. It handled the bandwith of our 4 devices without noticable throttling. Signal strength was great everywhere we went, with the exception of Mt Fuji. Subways, Shinkasen train, underground malls, etc, all had good signal reception.

Return was pretty simple, although not as simple as dropping it off at the pickup counter at the airport. Put everything in the provided return envelope and drop it off in a postal box before entering the airport when going home.

Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the power bank they provided did not keep the device powered all day. Ended up using my own larger powerbank instead to allow it to run all day.

La conexión ha funcionado perfectamente y el sistema es sencillo, práctico,cómodo y eficaz. La devolución es senciila: se introduce en el sobre y se deposita en un buzón. Recomiendo este sistema absolutamente.

Pick-up at airport without any trouble based on easy to find location and simple identification of myself as customer. Router worked properly without any issues and return was as easy and well prepared. So for a business traveller all key criteria fulfilled. Thanks Japan Wireless

Easily picked up the 4 reserved Japan Wireless devices at the Narita airport counter. The self addressed envelope made it simple drop off at the Narita post box prior to departure.

We traveled through Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka as a party of 4 adults. Each with our own Japan Wireless Device, there was no speed and/or connectivity issues.

Great product and would certainly be using Japan Wireless again on our next visit.

The pick-up and drop-off were super convenient (delivered to our hotel when we arrived in Japan, and dropped off in a postbox at the airport when we left). I very much appreciate the effective communication from JW, I always knew what the status of my order was, even after drop-off. The devices were very easy to use, handy to share connections to multiple devices (which did not work with an e-sim, therefore preferring a pocket wifi). The coverage was very good across Honshu, even in rural areas and underground.

The reason why I'm giving only 3 stars is that both the device itself and the powerbank provided with it had very poor battery life. We would charge both full every evening and turn the device off for the night so that we would have them both charged full for the next day. Still, every day, the device battery would be dead by noon, and the powerbank would be depleted by 3 pm. In practice we had to keep recharging the device from our own powerbanks for half a day to ensure connectivity.

I understand that not all customers can have brand new devices, but it would be great if at least either the device or the powerbank had sufficient battery life to ensure connectivity for at least 12 hours.

HANDS DOWN BEST ever! I forgot to reserve my Wifi before i left Hawaii. Went to get one day of and another company in Hawaii said none available. I was panicked. On the airplane, with the free Wifi from Hawaiian Airlines, I was able to find Japan Wireless website. Without knowing anything about this company I took a chance and booked to receive the Wifi when I landed in a few hours. Thought it was a scam until I arrived at the Hotel a few hours later and there was my package!!! Wifi never failed me! Highly recommend this company, it is so simple and accurate! Can't wait to use them again!

Picked up at the HND airport from Ninja WIFI counter and returned at KIX into the post office box. I had 4 people using it heavily, worked flawlessly. High speed no throttlin and never had to use the battery bank. I highly recommend. Look for discounts online, I paid 70$ for 21 days.

Easy to pick up and to return just follow the instructions and make sure that all in the envelop. We can had different users on the same wifi box as long as you stay together

Great service and price. I had two devices and never had an issue. The wi-fi lasted all day without needing a charge.

Very easy to aquire and log in to get signal. I had no issues getting reception the entire time I visited Okinawa. Highly recommend for wifi use and connection and plan to use them again for future visits.
