It’s easy to reserve online prior to your arrival and then pick up at their counter at the airport. We enjoyed seamless WiFi service during our entire visit. We used the Japan Wireless pocket WiFi during our trip to Japan from the United States. We had three people using it and it worked extremely well. It was easy to activate and worked extremely well throughout our trip. The only place it had issues was on the Shinkansen, which is to be expected. We had the device mailed to our first hotel which worked great and provided piece of mind when we were arriving that it would be waiting for us when we arrived at our hotel. We had no problems throughout our visit, and returning it at Haneda airport was a breeze. I would recommend this company to anyone traveling to Japan.

We were vacationing 3 weeks in Japan and this device worked flawlessly for my family as we traveled all over Japan. Having 2 teens, between our gaming, watching videos, and occasional calls between friends and family, we never experienced any issues. Using the device, the additional battery Japan wireless provided and 2 additional 10000 mAh packs. This device ran day and night with maybe 4 restarts due to battery depletion. Highly recommend! We had ours shipped to our first hotel, and mailed it at the nearby Post Box on street near the train, of our last hotel.

Easy to pick up at airport and drop off. We used the portable wifi between 5 of us throughout Japan. Would definitely recommend this to anyone going to Japan!

This device was perfect for me. It was easy to find the storefront for picking it up after arrival at the airport (Narita). The device was charged and ready to go. It is small and easy to carry. The battery lasted all day (one user), although there was a back up charger if needed. Since I relied heavily on translation and transportation apps, having the wireless connection was essential and made my vacation smooth. Finally, the drop off back at the airport was efficient and easy.

From the ease of pick up to drop off, my experience with Japan wireless was seamlessly easy. Super important to have such an easy pick up due to the chaos of landing and trying to get your bearings at such a busy airport. We went from Tokyo to Osaka and Kyoto and never had any issues with connectivity at pretty good speeds. Definitely would highly recommend!

Excellent portable WiFi! We used it for our two-week trip around Japan, and it worked perfectly everywhere we went. It made navigation, translation, and staying connected completely stress-free. I would definitely rent it again and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Japan.

As usual the process was easy and the coverage is really good, works well in the countryside also and so far the only limitless provider that really provides limitless data.
Unfortunately this time the device had short battery life, often needing frequent recharging, and also the provided power bank was ineffective.

I don’t normally do 5 stars, but end to end, this was genuinely seamless.

It cost c£55 for 14 days of unlimited data and having covered over 1200 miles of travel, the devise had signal throughout, even at 175mph on the Shinkansen (bullet train) across multiple journeys.

Came with a back up battery, charger and a Japanese plug (handy for other devises!). A fully charged battery lasts about 16 hours.

I ordered it online, asked for it to be sent to my hotel in Tokyo, picked it up connected it in seconds and we had 6 devises on it for 2 weeks. Moving around Japan it was imperative to have data for everyday use. The devise always worked.

The returns process was easy as it came with a prepaid envelope. Put everything back in and I dropped it off at a red post box in Lawsons convenience store. I had a confirmation email within 24 hours that the devise had been received.

Honestly - just brilliant end to end. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved having the portable wifi device from Japan Wireless. It kept us connected for the entire trip. It was a little difficult to find on the 3rd floor at pick up but otherwise I highly recommend!

Great service and fast internet connection. We selected unlimited date for our trip in Japan (14 days). At first, we wanted the pocket wifi to be delivered to our first hotel we stay but then our itinerary changed and we had to cancel our first hotel so we contacted the team to change our delivery option to pick up at the airport once we arrived. The response was fast and the staff was very helpful showing us direction and where to pick up. We returned the pocket wifi by post which again very easy. We dropped it at Lawson in the airport before our flight back home. Highly recommended!!!

A great choice this, worked very well having this device in the pocket or backpack. Could not be more user friendly, easy to set up and use, easy to pick up and deliver, no hassle at all.

The process was really easy (getting the wifi puck at the airport, setting it up with my devices, using it, and returning it), the wifi worked great and it made getting around Japan super easy!
