So i have been growing for 22 years... safe to say i know my way around a plant... never in all of my time have i had seeds that pop with this many genetic flaws including mutations the humboldt dream was the worst... duckfoot and missing fingers... none of the flowering times have been accurate jelly donutz was over 100 days same with train wreck and they all have been larfy and super hairy.... long story short i emailed them cause i had soooo many seeds like this... they didnt want to make it right, kept saying i was over/under watering.... then when they finally agreed to replace 2 packs of seeds they wanted me to pay for shipping.... 1 way or another if you have issues with thier seeds they will charge you to replace them... big seed company cant afford to replace defective products. First time buyer but will not be buying again... last email recieved was 1 saying they would talk to sales and see if they could wave the shipping fee...... update... i recieved replacement seeds but after the agrivation they caused i dont even want them.... 2/3/25

I am an experienced grower with 30 years of experience. I have grown many strains from a wide variety of seed company’s. I was intrigued by their strains and decided to run their Granny Candy seeds. Got a ten pack most germinated. The plants once germinated exhibited very slow growth and were mutated with very strange leaf patterns. I have seen this before with feminized strains giberelic acid can cause weird mutations in the seed stock. I contacted Humbolts customer service which was very slow in my opinion took a couple of calls to get a call back. Told them my issue. They said to put it in writing and send them a copy of my reciept which I did and I even sent them I picture of one of the deformed plants. Their customer service said they would check with the CEO and get back to me. It’s now been over a weeks and three weeks since I first contacted them.
Don’t waste your money at Humboldt seeds I had an issue with Krop King seeds they handled their business in one day.

I just know in my heart that this company means very very well and has had just as many difficult lessons and experiences as the rest of us trying to move with the times and keep up with the demands of the younger generations have on us on every level from there own kids at home with their demanding needs if your not blessed enough to home school or democracy farm school that hide hear and there west of the I5 or just struggle watching the entire older generation that has more skills and experience and passion than the whole of the United States and maybe even Europe that have been absolutely just pushed out and forgotten about because they couldn’t keep up with the taxes and management skills or just simply wanted to farm and was needed there more than filling out paperwork. Those souls are the ones I think and feel about the most because they have been disappearing from the planet faster than ever besides after Jerry Garcia passed. I know that humble county Seeed compan gives and helps the ol timers that deserve to be put to work. I had left a review about trainwhreck morphing out on me and how perfect my environment was, what a joke I apologize I had another feminized critical kush from Barney’s do same thing but worse. My ph was at root zone and I just didn’t get deep enough when testing. So taking full responsibility of turning a great lady into one that just wants life over a little faster but didn’t want to go out empty handed. I don’t blame them and will take full responsibility of farmers error. You guys are touching hearts and making a bigger splash than most and I know it’s hasn’t been easy and seems to be getting even harder for us all. Reached out via email 2 times and still no reply I’ve asked for tracking number on several occasions and still no reply . Heard many good things about their donutz strain but man customer service can be better.
Update still no reply at this point I’m convinced they ran off with my money, I emailed them for the 5th time today hopefully this review will have someone reach out

I placed a $150 order on Black Friday during the sale. My order showed the incorrect items after checkout and I immediately emailed. I didnt hear back for a week, then was told to re-email a twosnakes gmail address and sales would handle it. I did......and never got an additional response.

I just received a tracking number and verification my card was charged and the incorrect items shipped.

UPDATE - Received a call immediately after posting this, and they believe the order was corrected before shipping......but the tracking still shows it as unshipped a full day after tracking was generated. I was given a direct number to call with any problems once I receive the order.

I will update this review once I receive the order.

UPDATE 2 - I received the order and while the packaging was great, the order was incorrect. I was able to get ahold of the same person immediately with the number provided, and she assured me that they would make things right. I understand mistakes happen, and the sign of a good company is fixing them. I will update this review when I receive the correct items and give it full stars. Currently it has been 10 days since my initial purchase.

FINAL UPDATE - I did receive the correct seeds finally after two weeks. I appreciated having a real person to help, and understand that mistakes can happen....and I very well could have made a mistake using the Brave Browser instead of Chrome or Firefox for the initial order. Each pack had 6 seeds instead of 5. 4 of the 6 Girl Scout Cookies cracked, and I'm still waiting to see how many Jelly Donuts crack. I have every confidence in this company now, and will be using them as a primary seed source. I updated the review to a full 5 stars.

Bougth close to $1000 in seeds --- Blueberry Muffin and Garlic Budder. Only about 10% of them produced viable seedlings. The only genetics that have proved not to work for us since we've been in business. We've tried to contact someone at Humbolt and they are just not returning our calls, even when we leave in the message that this has significantly comporimised our schedule and would they please contact us ASAP. I've never had such bad product and then poor cusotmer service from a seed/genetics provider than from Humbolt. If you're looking for femenized seeds for indoor growing and/or you expect quality customer service AVOID HUMBOLT AT ALL COSTS!!!

Vigorous , reliable, always high quality flower. Cali octane, don carlos, emerald fire, blueberry pancakes are some of my favorites. You can’t go wrong with any of there cultivars. They have a terpene profile you’re looking for.

Ordered the og triploid seeds. Absolute fire. The trichome coverage was incredible. Terps are absolutely insane. 10/10 these triploids are the future. I cant wait to try the others they have like the donutz!

Been growing for 20+ and the new strains I have been finding in the last 5 have been lackluster and un impressive. Till I ran these Humboldt seed genetics . It’s nice to see plants with strength and vigor again . There heritage strains seem to be what they were from back in the day. And there new releases crushed and got that stank. I really like the Guzzlerz , orange cream pop and colli man kush . Blueberry muffin, dream queen and their headband are classic and got massive . And that Cali octane!!!! Nice work fellas . Can’t wait to see what they got cookin for next season .

Grew the Blueberry Muffin this year 10/10 for smell. Really smells like baked blueberry muffins.

Under 50% germination and 50% of those make it through seedlings into veg. Worst of 3 seed companies I’ve ordered from! Other 2 had 95+% success and produced fantastic results. No way I’m ordering from them again. They need to remove the Humboldt from their name, embarrassment and disgrace to growers and culture up there!

Bought cali octane...grower said four ft tall but bushy with high yield..week two of bloom...eight ft tall extremely bushy..expect massive yield..used roots organic lush with liquid fish and Alaska more bloom...you judge...

12 years buying seed, and this horrible breeder is the only one I have complaints on. Low germination rates, intersex tendencies on feminized seed, and low potency being the trifecta of seed breeders to avoid.
And to boot, was only given a partial refund on seeds; after sending them side by side photos with another breeder in their own area; proving their work as substandard.
This company is a master of marketing, and a failure in everything else; this assessment given after a year of working with their unstable/weak genetics.
Avoid them at all costs!
Edited on 10/28, in response to HSC. The problems continued well into last Spring, after your poor products were eliminated from my garden; and well after my last contacting you directly. Since then(using different breeders), I've had no issues utilizing same grow methods and medium; and without any of the numerous issues I had with your operation. And therefore, I stand firm with the original review.

I ordered 5 auto Durban poison, 3 Hella Jelly photo and got 3 Pineapple OG kush as a bonus. Of the Durban Poison all 5 germed, but 2 are one strain, 2 are another and the 5th is an unknown photoperiod. Only two of the Hella Jelly germed. One failed to sprout and the other is growing something that is not a marijuana plant. Of the 3 free Pineapple only 1 germed and is growing healthy. Next time I'll take my business elsewhere.

bought 6 autos and 3 mango sherbets. came with 3 free autos. out of 9 autos only 1 showed up ( all the fast buds autos popped no problem) 2/3 mangos popped healthy plants with super tiny flowers real sticky but tiny compared to my others. I will not do business with these jokers ever again. UPDATE 10/12 24 HSC did make the business side right by sending me photo replacements. Thankyou Humboldt seed co. Also I cloned one of my mangos, planted in more sun, Fed ALOT more and...WOW Their product is better than I was! I am the Joker now. (same plant more, stickier, filled out flowers.)Still low opinion of their autos for outdoors(8 out of 9 only popped) autos from 4 other shops all popped but one, same conditions. I WILL use Humboldt photo period seeds again in the future and prob relax before ever leaving a negative review.

They took forever to ship. Overcharge for shipping, and none of my seeds germinated..I feel ripped off

1st order ok. 2nd order took over a week to be processed and did not contain Tee Shirt. 3rd order still processing a week later.
Contacted through email and website. No response.

Second experience:
While proximity probably plays a factor, I’m only one state away, no one gets seeds to my door faster! Tried three sample orders from three separate companies. The others are on their way, Humboldt is here.
They come in original packs with all the relevant info, they look FAT and healthy, dark and striped. I’ve only ever had good experiences personally. I’ve heard the nightmare herm stories but haven’t seen them in anyone’s grows near me. Totally possible but honestly, I’m sold. Cost vs quality and time is on point.
