Pour commencer, pourquoi est on obligé de passer par leur site pour pouvoir installer une imprimante, ce même site ou il y à beaucoup de bugs. Ensuite quand l'imprimante est enfin installée, les impressions ne fonctionnent jamais, sans exagérer, j'ai passé des heures (en tout ) à relancer, relancer, relancer les échecs d'impression. Ensuite, il y à leur système d'abonnement avec le suivi des cartouches, alors au début, c'est gratuit et puis quand vous voulez résilier l'abonnement, c'est impossible, ça ne fonctionne jamais. J'ai changé de carte , je me suis dis : super, ça va s'arrêter automatiquement. Et bien non, ils m'ont carrément couper le service d'impression, c'est une honte...

Forced printing app that barely functions.

Selvom jeg modtog en mail om, at en ny blækpatron var på vej, viste det sig, at den slet ikke var afsendt. Resultat? Jeg løb tør for blæk.

Kundeservice kunne tilbyde at sende en ny patron – med en leveringstid på op til seks hverdage. Men hvad er pointen lige med abonnementet, hvis man alligevel risikerer at stå uden blæk?
Jeg opsagde naturligvis mit abonnement, da det duer for mig.
Da jeg (endelig) modtog og installerede HP's patron, kunne jeg ikke bruge den, fordi abonnementet var stoppet. Så nu må jeg destruere en næsten fuld patron ud, fordi HP har låst den. En patron, jeg allerede har betalt for gennem mit abonnement!
Hold nu op, hvor er det dumt.

Mit råd? HOLD JER FRA ABONNEMENTET – og køb blækpatroner et andet sted.

HPsmart is the poorest quality app I have ever seen for printing, and totally unacceptable from a reputable company like HP!!
I have HP laptop and HP printer, and this is the very first time they let me down so badly, so as I consequence, I will never EVER buy a printer from HP and will seriously review in my next round of PC acquisition.
Printing should be easy for a Year 1 infant or an old person and any knowledgeable adult in-between, but no, they have not nailed it: mystery unexpected disconnection (every 15mn), slow connection, leading to mutiple un-needed prints (ah yes because you never know if its going to come out eventually).
Whoever develop this useless piece of software brings a lot of shame to the brand HP

My uncle passed away. Impossible to stop HPsmart.

They have taken my money for more than 2 years - they have promised til deliver ink- nothing has arrived - when you try to use their support function - they will stall you until you loose interest - don't waste money on this - its pure robbery.....

Fair dinkum. You would think the company responsible for the actual hardware would know how to write robust software to connect and control their own products. This app is flaky at best with print queues getting confused, scanners intermittenly working etc. third party apps do a way better job. Have used multiple PCs to connect via wireless and network with the same probs. never buying HP again.

HP 6400 reports loss of WiFi.Reconnection has no effect.Printer....doesn't.
Repeated attempts to reset by chatbot,HP app,following HP directions all failed.Finally I found an HP page asking for feedback It contained a tell us what went wrong requestBUT NO SPACE TO INSERT IT .
I will replace my HP Printer ,stop direct debits for the ink contract and trot over to Currys for advice and a replacement

Why do you need internet to scan a paper.., why ?
The printer does not connect to the network...
Very bad experience and time consuming.
Happy to put it in the bin.
My feeling, I will never buy HP anymore.

HP Smart is the worst printer software on the planet! Coupled with my HP Envy 6400 series printer, I spend sometimes hours trying to get the later to print from my laptop using HP Smart. So much for improved productivity!
If I have to reload the printer driver and HP Smart one more time, it's going in the bin and I'm buying and Epson!

Comment cela est-il possible ? Logiciel d'une nullité absolue qui ne fonctionne pas mais qui est impossible à contourner. Car il faut que les gens le sachent, ils ne pourront pas installer leur imprimante hp sans passer par cette application.
Comment une entreprise comme hp peut-elle pondre un logiciel aussi calamiteux ? Pourquoi faut-il être connecté pour scanner un document, les fichiers scannés sont-ils envoyés dans leur base de données ? Il faut juste comprendre que pour fonctionner sous Windows, le seul élément dont Windows a besoin, c'est un driver, et que celui-ci ne pèse presque rien, juste quelques centaines de Ko ! L'objectif est donc de recueillir le maximum d'informations dans les ordis et de les transmettre. Comment se fait-il qu'on laisse faire ça ?
Acheteurs potentiels d'imprimantes hp, passez votre chemin, moi, on ne m'y reprendra plus !

HORRIBLE! The control they have over your bank account and what you print is ridiculous! Your printer is SUPER SLOW and it takes forever to get anything done. This is a ridiculous idea and a Nazi service. Then they continue to bill after you cancel this controlling service.

Hopeless!! Slows everything down and is impossible to troubleshoot - which you need to do often because it simply loses the plot!

Rip Off, Waste of Time & Money

Not only does this printer not work well due to the WiFi not connecting on a regular basis, you have to PAY A SUBCRIPTION to print on a printer you purchased with ink that you purchased with paper that you purchased.

I AM NOT ALLOWED TO PRINT FROM THE PRINTER WITHOUT PAYING FOR A SUBCRIPTION SERVICE!

If I could give a negative star review, I would. This is not even worthy of having 1 star.

The App is the as slow disgusting trash, crashes the spped of it is disgustingly slow up to 4 minutes per page when scanning yo time this by 40 pages and then crashes.

I have been trying to cancell through my credit card company but somehow the charges keep coming back. The instant ink subscription is a scam. I had to purchase ink at the office supply store last year because the account said that I still had ink (and therfore didn't send more when I was out) but the printer was not printing. I have been charged monthly for this service since 2001 despite never receiving ink after the first shipment. I would have cancelled sooner had there been a way for me to log on to the acount to cancel prior to today (in 2025). I purchased a different brand printer just so that I don't have to deal with this subscription ink service. I have paid for the ink several times over with the subscription. It is ridiculous that ink which has already been paid for and shipped will stop working when my subscription ends. It is also ridiculous that I would be charged for "one more billing cycle" next monthin March (as the site says) when I cancelled today (early February). This service is the most ridiculous billing scam I've ever experieinced.

Total waste of a $400 printer as the app is terrible and completely useless piece of trash. I hate HP for making me use this app to print a 1 page document and I will never every buy anything HP again in my lifetime.
