Misleading service. Website takes forever to load. Very difficult to cancel and still took my subscription money even after I had deleted the direct debit! Cartridges that I’ve paid for now no longer work apparently. How is that even legal!

L'interface scan de HPSmart est beaucoup moins performant que l'ancien (multipage, taille automatique).
L'imprimante est parfaite et solide (6 ans). J'utilise HPInstant Ink que je trouve parfait et moins onéreux que les cartouches à l'unité. Prochaine imprimante : pas HP !

Unplug the power cord: Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet. Wait 60 seconds: Allow the printer to sit unplugged for at least 60 seconds. Reconnect the power cord: Plug the power cord back into the printer and the wall outlet. Turn on the printer: Press the power button to turn the printer back on.

No I do not want to renew my subscription thankyou I don't think that is fair though both cartridges are nearly full which really I have paid for in my subscriptions. You should have advised me before I cancelled that I wouldent be able to use the cartridges once I closed my account, at least I would have been aware about the problem and wouldent have spent the last 3 days trying to sort it out. Why didn't you tell me this at the start of our messaging as I did advise you that I had cancelled my subscription in my first message. Can you give me a email address to take my complaint future

I'm quite frustrated that you didn't ask me this in your initial response to my first message. Additionally, I don't see why I should change the cartridges when I've already mentioned they are nearly full. As I stated earlier, I wasn't aware that I couldn't use the cartridges once I canceled my subscription; HP didn't inform me of this when they confirmed my cancellation. The reason I asked you about this is that a friend shared a similar experience after canceling her HP subscription, which ultimately led her to stay because she didn't want any further
complications. It seems HP is making it
unnecessarily difficult for users to cancel their subscription. I would like to escalate this issue

Total waste of time & money. I purchased Smart family pre paid plan as my computer warrenty had expired.
£89 wasted. No evidence of the plan in my account, given the run around when trying to cancel the plan 5 days later, including calling the USA number.

Staggeringly awful...
Staggeringly, staggeringly awful. Cheap tech that has broken down (with a similar connection issue) multiple times despite the internet being fine. We even replaced the printer on warranty (now out - how convenient) yet problems of this and other kinds persist. The HP Smart app is unresponsive and the service when you try to get anyone to troubleshoot is careless and slow. Honestly modern life is a rapid deterioration courtesy of disaster capitalism and robotic call centres, but these clown are at the front and centre of that. HP has one concern - money. Pitiful. And we can bet the generic robo-statements this review will get from them will come thick and fast. The death spiral is real.

Completely useless expensive service. I've ran out of ink, the system assures me I've got ink, even though they cant monitor my printer. Unable to contact anyone at HP about it, I feel I'm a complete mug for ever using it. Their online Help System is complex and useless, just refers to FAQs...and as for their Chat Bot nonsense, don't waste your time.

This is the most aggravating and time consuming pos I've ever dealt with. From the lie about free ink to absolutely no way to contact customer service. They make you pay £6 a month just to use the printer. You can't cancel or nothing works. It prints a paper saying you can't print anything but our reports. This seems so illegal. The ink they provide has 2 drops in it. It does. Maybe 5 pages not 50 like they say. Stay away if you value your time and sanity

They'll charge you again and again, even if you cancel or are not using their services. They make it hard to cancel a subscription and customer service is not helpful. You still get charged another fee AFTER you cancel, even if you HAVE NOT used the subscription.

abysmal. Changed my router and managed to get the printer working using HP Smart. Then the printing stopped working and I had to set it up again. Then it failed again and this time i could not get it to work. When I clicked on the HP "Smart" app I got the "wheel of death" and after a few minutes I gave up. Do not buy this product.

Comme toutes imprimantes, les cartouches compatibles fonctionnent tant qu'elles sont compatible sur le format. Avec HP, jusqu’à une mise à jour forcée qui les bloque, même si elles sont pleines et fonctionnelles. HP fait croire que seules leurs cartouches sont valides, ce qui est faux. Une stratégie de vente abusive qui force l'achat et l'adhésion!!

They DO NOT even deserve a 1 star! Bought a new printer and they offered a free trial for their hpsmart ink/paper. Have been getting charged (initially cents) and now a full month of using 'paper'?? RIDICULOUS! Called and complained and each time, a different representative would give me the EXACT same reason, that I had used a certain amount of paper and this would be the last bill since I cancelled my subscription....how many 'last bill' will I be receiving if my subscription was cancelled? AND the free trial is misleading. I ONLY received 1 free set of ink and 1 pack of paper....it was supposed to be 3 months supply...instead, I PAID 3 months of whatever it was they stated I 'used'.....INSANE!
HP Smart- is not Smart
This problem has been happening from jump street. I have a HP Officejet PRO 8135e. when it works it is great. It is just the HP Smart software is abysmal. It constantly fails. Upgrades are downgrades and there is no real support for it. Restart and see if works. Any diagnostics show absolutely nothing. I even engaged tech support from own company and they could not figure it out either.
It works one day then fails for days. I need this printer for work and it is forever frustrating. I should have kept my 2008 HP deskjet. At least it worked.
HP Smart does not work- you have to sign in to do the most simple operation and all it wants to do is sell you ink. or services. I might actually be interested if the product even worked. Please for the sanity of the planet, fix the software. Or just give us a driver that works with a PC and be done with it. It is overly complicated and it's a miracle when the software and device actually work.
