Overall I have had good service over the last 4 years with my hp2721e printer and hp smart. However, a recent update has changed the print settings from draft, normal and best (easy to understand) to normal. economode and lowcompression jpeg. I have tried normal and economode and both took a long time to print - what has happened to lovely draft which was fast and great for a quick print to draw from or trace. I dare not try low compression - what on earth does that mean. hp don't seem to have anywhere for customer feedback - hence my rant on here. Bring back the settings pleas hp.

Very bad. Keep loading and cannot add printer. Always have trouble to print or scan. Suddenly cannot. Trouble with driver but no tutorial how to solve the problem. Regret buying hp product

Slow to start up. Trying to scan a single document and start up spins for a long time. Then select to scan and we are into the same spinning wheel waiting for it to start up. What should be a short process to get a document scanned turns into a long wait.

Its a badly designed retro piece of crap. Whoever designed, sorry did I say design, needs sacking its awful. I will not be paying the final bill.Take me to court I don't care.

Absolute crap, both app and printer (hp envy 6000), awful experience overall

Logiciel extrèmement lent, qui me bloque régulièrement, m'empèche d'utiliser l'imprimante, demande des connexions pour pouvoir faire un scan. Détecte des contrefaçon et bloque tout quand ça lui chante. C'est de loin la plus mauvaise expérience que j'ai eu avec une imprimante, plus jamais cette marque!

Adding to the long list of poor reviews, simply because this app drives me insane and has put me off ever purchasing another HP printer! In order to scan I have to uninstall and reinstall every time, no one has time for that. Then I get asked "how are you finding the app" which adds insult to the experience. Printing is a bit hit and miss, but at least I don't have to uninstall/reinstall the app to do it. Worst purchase I've ever made.

The reason I am writing this review is pure indignation. The Instant Ink subscription is such a nasty rip off. They say that the pages you haven't used from your monthly allowance would be rolled out to the next month, but it NEVER HAPPENED. I then they charge 1.50 pound for every extra page you print in your own home, which is so unfair and absurd. Not to mention the stress and amount of time I lost trying to figure out why the bloody printer was 'off line'. I will never ever respect HP because of that awful experience.

DO NOT USE HP Smart.

It really isn't that smart, for a start. To print one document takes twenty minutes to get the printer online, to reset HPS, faff about and then do it all again. Honestly, an abject failure of a thing.

It also blocks genuine cartridges because it seems to think it has authority to tell me what I can and cannot do with my own printer.

It truly is the most hateful piece of software I've ever had the misfortune to use. There are no redeeming qualities.

Je galère depuis plusieurs jours pour associer mon imprimante HP à mon nouvel Ordi HP ! C'est d'un compliqué... Franchement s'il y avait zéro étoile, c'est ce que je mettrais ! C'est nul ! J'ai fais ce qu'on m'a dit mais non, je vais tourner chêvre !

Barely ever works, on top of that their instant ink is a scam, Customer service is an absolute nightmare. Totally useless. HP are the worst.

Whatever you do, do not purchase a HP Smart Printer. You are automatically enrolled into a subscription service for replacement cartridge’s. You cannot print offline either, you have to have a functioning internet provider, and they are taking money out of my account several times a month ach to the value of £6.49 when I initially set up a £1.49 ad I do not print that much. I have purchased a Brother printer and threw this one into the bin.

The hatred I have for this app is almost unlimited. Trying to print anything turns into a quest. At the moment I am trying to print a document. Firstly my printer could not be found, now it is "offline" - um, it's right here, turned on and linked to the WiFi, but apparently that is "offline". I will not buy another HP printer.

Worst service ever,
1st after 5:30 pm UK Time all support down and their virtual assistant as much use as a chocolate teapot
2nd. Can't Print anything despite printer being online and FULL of ink
3rd. Sign in to my account and keep getting error messages when click on anything, Regardless of device on Phone, PC and Tablet, Have important Documents that need printing and posting in the morning Once Again HP have Failed Miserably on this,
4th, If there is a issue with billing Can't print anything, they tell you to edit the card details again and charge you 99p for the pleasure DESPITE it being the same card they have used for the past how long..

Tout est configuré en résumé ..

Aprés plus d'une heure d'attente déconnexions, manque de feuille (alors qu'il y aune dizaine de feuille dans le bac) une impression se lance !

Un rapport pour me dire que tout va bien ..

Puis plus rien, configurer une vingtaines de fois des les heures qui ont suivis et aucune impression sortis. Merci de ne surtout pas acheter ces imprimantes de vent.

I pay the monthly subscription for them to send me ink but it has been at least three years since the sent me ink. My printer is without ink. The printer prints 1-5 alignment pages every week which burns through paper and ink but doesn’t count towards your ink usage so now I am out of ink and can’t get a hold of anyone to send me ink. There system says I still have a full cartridge so the won’t send it to me. Do not sign up for this! It is extremely frustrating and the biggest waste of money.

As other says. The printer maybe good but everything between what you print from and to the printer is shit. Got it to work after a 3 hours support session with an actually support guy, but after this it have worked and not worked or worked on a different way or or or.
So now I'm f*king tierd of this shit, tomorrow I'll go and buy a different one.
